Hate system

Sam Smith did not expect to die after having sex with his girlfriend, Mary. She always gives him more than one sleeping pill because she wanted him to sleep better. It was total bullshit when he found out she used the pills to cheat on him with other men while he was sleeping. Not to mention that Sam woke up when she and the other guy was about to have sex.

His head was still fuzzy when he left her while she was crying trying to explain that it was a mistake. He walked down the road wanting to go somewhere when for some reason a truck ran a red light while he was crossing. The last thing he did was give the truck driver the double guns.

When he opened his eyes again, he didn't expect to wake up at all. As he sat up in his bed, strange memories started pouring into his head. It's about this new body he inhabited. His name is Shen Tian.

How he died was quite strange. Shen Tian died quietly in his sleep for some reason. Poisoned most likely.

He lived in a world called Edaria. It's a world of monsters and magic. Surprisingly, there are levels involved for everyone, from a baby who was level 1 to an old man.

Everyone can level up by killing monsters like in an RPG. There is no level limit, but it takes a long time to go from lvl 233 to 234. Most don't make it and die from old age.

They train children at a young age, (10 years old) to harness their magical powers. If they don't have any magic, well, they're demoted to being warriors (meat shields) to keep the magicians safe from the demons while they cast spells.

At least something good came out of this experience. He went from a 32-year-old man to 16 years old. His new face is handsome, his body is more muscular than his old one and his third leg has a bit more length than his old one. Not to mention, there's plumbing, internet, and magic! Who wouldn't like to cast spells? Thankfully he can use magic.

His family is rich and powerful which basically means that he's a rich second generation with a lot of power. Shen Tian's ancestors helped create the city he lives in and everything inside, which didn't help his ego.

One thing he knows without a doubt from his new memories is that he is a small-time villain. The old Shen Tian was a spoiled, arrogant little piece of shit. He doesn't have any real friends just minions that suck up to him for resources.

Sam would rather be an ordinary background character that doesn't interact with anyone important or anyone dangerous and gets killed.

Almost all of the villains he read gets face-slapped and become a stepping stone for the protagonist after a few chapters. In some cases, the villain loses in the most painful or humiliating way possible. That is something the new Shen Tian would like to not happen.

He's not sadistic that gets off on beating people that gets on his nerves for disrespecting him. Nor is he a masochist that trains like mad and ignores the pain involved from battling monsters.

And so far from what he had learned from this body's memories, he could confidently say that he is screwed royally.

The original Shen Tian crossed paths with the mc known as Xue Que. How did he know Xue Que is the protagonist? It's simple, his magic was so bad, that even low-level slimes could kill him.

Even if he used the school resources provided, it wouldn't explain how that bastard got powerful enough to get to level 20 from Level 9 in 9 days since his last beating.

Xue Que got cocky and had the nerve to hit on his (Old Shen Tian) fiance, Su Lingyun. Though to be fair, she is very attractive, but she didn't like anyone and is only focused on gaining levels.

Old Shen Tian didn't like her either, his taste was... on the younger side, much to his parent's anger. They tried everything. They even gave him a mansion full of hot maid's for him to pursue instead, but he held steady.

The original Shen Tian sent one of his subordinates, Wen Lu, who was level 14, beat up Xu Que at lunch, but he was beaten black and blue instead.

Shen Tian could feel smugness rolling off of Xu Que when he arrived back to class after lunch. His minion was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Typical mc behavior, getting arrogant after gaining a little power. He should have been low key and when he was more powerful than Shen Tain's whole family, then he takes his revenge. After that, he could be arrogant.

Shen Tian went home, pissed off, and told his maid to find something so he can vent his anger.

He decided to take a small nap and went to sleep. He died not long after and the new, (Sam) Shen Tian woke up.

He had read so many novels, that he knew the longer Xu Que was alive, the more his chances were of losing everything.

He is now in a lawless world, where the strong trample on the weak! His new family was a good example of that. They did a lot of bad things and have many enemies.

He wanted to suck up to Xue Que so that he would let him live. Sadly, his choice was taken from him when he woke up as a villain with a system. It would have been better if he was a side character instead.

A mechanical voice spoke inside Shen Tian's head.

Shen Tian was speechless for a while and he started to resent the world silently. His chance of having a girlfriend is lost. He will most likely die a virgin unless he hid his identity from his partner. He would lose everything and he hasn't been on this body for long.

After panicking for a few minutes in denial, hoping it was a dream, but it was not meant to be. Shen Tian slapped his cheeks to calm his emotions down and asked the system to make sure, "How do I acquire the hate value?"

[As long as the host can cause negative emotions of other creatures, the hate value can be obtained. Higher the hate, the more points gathered. The level of hatred is also divided into ridicule, hate, disgust, loathing, etc.]

So he needed to get people to hate him as fast as possible if he wanted to survive. If he managed to take whatever it was that allowed Xue Que to become OP, his life would be safe for the moment.

Shen Tian remembered the last web novel he read had something similar to this but there was more than one mc in the novel and it had cultivation.

But first things first, he decided to check his status and the hate value.

"Haah, thank the gods." He sighed in relief. He asked the system curious about something, "Is the hate value gathered only once, or is it a continuous thing?"

Shen Tian looked upon who hated him enough for the numbers to rise so fast.

He gritted his teeth and bought the information. It better be worth it, even if he gets it back in a moment, all points are necessary for his survival.

[The main protagonist, Xue Que did it. He planned on making you have diarrhea in class but miscalculated the dosage and it ended up being poisonous.]

Shen Tian paled in fear, how can Xue Que mess it up?! He decided to become a villain for his health, but not just any villain. A villain that runs away at the first sign of danger. If he can't then, he'll hide behind his women and let them fight for him. While they do that, he can enjoy the view while eating popcorn.

He's not an idiot that will stay and fight anyone. He'll use anything to survive. Nothing is too shameful for him. He wanted to stay alive and lose his new virginity.

Shame? Most protagonists he read are all shameless so he needs to fight fire with fire, even if he doesn't know what counts as shameless.

He should look in the system store for anything helpful. He'll ignore the "anyone" part for a moment, but he'll get back to it soon.
