After her father's tragic death, she distance herself from everyone, including her mom. She wasn't fully prepared for moving on from the event and now, her mother found another man who'll fulfill her after him. Jungkook, a player, stone-hearted faced the same event. His mom died when he was little, leaving him and his six other brothers with their dad. He then knew that his father found another woman and would like to marry her which he was so furious about. What they didn't know was their world was just connected. ___ "I told you to marry that man!" her mom shouted at her, stomping her left foot. "why would I? This wasn't part of the deal! I let you marry that old man and even let him take the role of my dad yet now, you would force me to marry someone who I don't have feelings with? I can't believe you" she yelled back. She ran away from her mom and went back to her house. ___ "Jungkook, get ready, you're meeting your future wife" his dad said, holding his wife's hand. "I don't even like Lisa, let alone be paired with her forever" he hissed and walked out. ___ 5 years later. "c'mon you're meeting your sister. She had arrived thirty minutes ago and is probably waiting for us, together with her husband." his mom told them while taking her bag and fixed her clothes. ___ She held her tears and looked at the night sky and said, "Jungkook, we can't. As much as I wanted to be with you, we're both married to someone who we don't give a shit." He took her hands and let her face him and said, "that's my point. If we love each other, then we'll fight for each other, for our love", to her. He kissed her hands and they shared a passionate kiss. ___ "if only I knew that this will happen, then I wouldn't have to do that. Shit, Lei, you make me crazy"he kneeled down, holding her bruised hand. "shit happens, kook" she laughed. ___ "we're divorced". They both said at the same time. She jumped on him and he twirled her, tightly holding her waist. "does that mean, we have a chance?" he asked her, lost in her galaxy eyes. "we do have a chance, we just didn't know how to find that chance" she smiled while pecking his lips. "if only I met you before your mom met my dad, then we would have kids by now" ___ "I now pronounce you, husband and wife"
Sitting beside her bed, tissues all over her precious peach room, she still can't get over the fact that her dad died. She cried for 3 months 4 days 12 hours 35 minutes and 13 seconds to be precise. Missing all the precious and timeless memories she shared with her dad. The person who would always make her feel like she's never alone. That she will never walk alone. That someone is here beside her whether she can see it or not. The person who will never get tired of saying "I love you, my little princess". The person who made and will make her feel special. The person who loved and will love her unconditionally suddenly disappeared from her life.... Forever.
She needed her father. Missing him for the past months. It was hard to move on, to let go of someone who was special to you.
A knock was heard three times. However, she didn't open it. She was tired of getting up because that was what she did every time problem occurs. Get up, Leilein, she always say to herself.
"Leilein I have something to tell you. Please understand," Her mom said, leaning on her door, trying to hear her crying, again.
"understand? After all what happened, do you think I'll just move on and understand every single shit you'll say? Just who are you?"
"Look hone-"
"don't call me pet names" she glared at the door, hoping that her glare would penetrate the door.
"fine. It's about your step dad. Remember that there's someone courting me and I answered him. Now we arranged a wedding. For the next 3 weeks we will be moving out to our new home. Don't worry your brothers arranged your room and everything. This house will be kept. Well just use this for emergency. Or I will let someone rent it. Please understand baby it is for your own good and for your brother Mark, "
"Ooohhh.... If that's it I can understand but I don't know if Mark can understand. I'll understand that you'll replace dad. I'll understand if you want someone to lay fingers on you. But no thank you. I'll not move out. Sorry not sorry. Now go away."
" Alara Leilein Stone, what did you just say? I want someone to lay fingers on me? Who the heck are you to say that to me?"
" who the heck am I to say That to you? Well, I'm Alara Leilein Stone daughter of Verson Stone. And yeah, you want someone to you know. Now get out."
" I am your mother "
" yes, you're my mother in blood but not in heart" she coldly spat.
Slowly, the steps disappeared and by the time that it was completely quiet, she knew she fucked up but she couldn't care less. She remembered the hunt of sadness and grief in her mother's voice yet she didn't care about it.
The doorbell rang and her mother opened it.
Her Mom's POV
I don't know what to do with my daughter anymore but I won't give up pursuading her. I was so hurt when she said that to me. Who am I to her? Mother in blood but not in heart. Is it that hard to move on? She just have to met and be comfortable with her step family and then done.
I greeted my future husband with my smile and gestured him to go inside. We walked side by side looking out for each other. I told him about my daughter and my son and he said that it's fine. Only, I'll be the one to move out. My son won't be coming back until next month, I guess. He never really updated me on his life. I felt like I don't have any role in their lives.
Who can blame me? I lost the man of my life. The one who promised me to be with me forever. I just needed attention as I was desperate. I couldn't just end my life too, leaving my kids. Suddenly, I met this guy, who will be my future husband.
" Leilein come down here!" I shouted but there's no reply. She didn't move, even an inch.
"why the heck are you shouting? You could just leave and move on." she said and I started to get irritated. I did not raised her to be like that.
"how dare you talk like that in front of your fath-" I widened my eyes when I realized what I said.
"Oh don't you dare say that he is my father cause he is not and will never be." her heart ached when her mom called the guy her 'father'.
"Listen, I'll just introduce myself-"
"could you shut your mouth also? I'm not talking to you."
He kept his mouth shut. And as I can't take her insults anymore.
"slap"
What have I done?
3rd Person's POV
Oh no, she just didn't do that to her. She was raging with anger rising inside her body.
" Leave without me. I'll never leave this house. Out. Out from my house or else, I'll kill you!"
She pushed them and kick them away. She threw her bags and raised her middle fingers. "Bye bye sucker" she told them and she banged the door.
~~~~~~
The next day, she started cleaning the house for her new life and for the coming of his brother. She first went to her parents' room and cleaned up. She threw everything that is related to her mother and keep all of her father's belongings. Next, she cleaned her brother's room and put designs on the wall. No sign of dust in the corners of the room. Then, she cleaned her own room, throwing all the tissues to the trash bin and organized all of her things. The room attached to hers, she also organized all of the books in the library. Last but not the least, she cleaned the ground floor, the kitchen, living room, laundry room, bathroom and the lower level, the garage, the other bedroom and media room.
After spending hours from those cleaning, she collapsed to the couch, letting the broom fall from her grip and she exhaled a long sigh. Looking to her finished product, she could say, it's a good improvement. She smiled to herself for her thought of cleaning the house. The fact that she got up from her bed and do these impossible things.
But there's one thing she forgot. She forgot to clean the attic. Did she really forgot it or not? Does she have any reason?
Yes, she has a reason why she did that. Memories were there in the attic. She couldn't handle it, she couldn't stand it seeing all of the things that will make her remember the old times. Everything will go back to square one if she step one floor there. So, she decided not to clean there.
After having a good dinner and a warm bath, she felt relaxed and relieved that bad things were actually gone. But this is only the first part. First part of her journey.
