Chapter 9- Modified Martial Arts in Experimental Stage

Mom returned to sit with her children and they started waiting for the food delivery to arrive, during this waiting time, all the family started talking about what was going on in their life.

Slowly this conversation turned in the direction of Arc's dad who died during the accident in an Archaeology Research ship around the Bermuda Triangle Sea.

Arc got emotional due to remembering the old happy family times. He did not want to spoil time for his sister so he made some jokes that didn't make sense but her mom picked up what Arc was trying to do, so, she helped and changed the topic to casual nagging.

"You know what, you both mischiefs always sleep late. So, today you have to sleep quickly after we eat." Mom said nagging.

"Mom, can you tell what was father like?" Reku asked which broke all the guard and pretence that Arc was having on his face, and then quickly hugged Reku while hiding his crying face.

'Ding'

Then a voice of doorbell sounded.

Mom stood up and then started looking to check on the door, although the expected person to be at the door was a food delivery person.

She opened the door and saw that there was a food package on the door.

She picked it up and then came to sit with the children after placing the package on the table.

During this time, Arc got hold of his wildly running emotions and decided with strong determination that he would get resources for his family to try and fill the void of his dead father even though it's not possible to fill the place of someone with material wealth especially if he is someone so close to you like his father.

"Let's eat something, Mom, search in that package, I also ordered the favorite chocolate ice cream for Reku. I thought she would like it." Arc said.

"You thought, You knew it obviously that I love chocolate ice cream." Reku quickly jumped toward the package wanting Mother to find it quickly from all the ordered food.

"Hey Reku, slowly!" Mother said.

This atmosphere again turned into a happy one with everyone eating their favorite food like shahi paneer, poori, and other dishes. After happy eating, at the insistence of their mother both Reku and Arc quickly went to bed, Reku going into their mother's room to sleep with her and Arc into his room which was previously a study room for his dad before it got turned into a bedroom for him. He had his father's left items placed on the shelves in his room because they held great importance in his life and provided him emotional peace.

Arc was pondering over when should he go to Tetra's back and what things were there that he had to do before going. He had thought that he would first get information on all the debt that he had to pay and do something about his sister's studies which is gonna start in a few months. 

These all things were to be considered after a specific time, so he thought for now he could check the things on the platform that he heard about from that man in the teleportation facility.

He quickly moved and took out the laptop from the hiding place and opened it and loading the whole system took some time as it was a brand new laptop.

Using the secret internet access code key that he heard about from man, he opened the page where there were choices of platforms like 'Dark Abyss' and 'Divine Thunderbird' but there were many other platforms too he had no clue about.

He entered the Dark Abyss platform where there is only a need to mention some kind of unique username. After failing on so many names even after adding random numbers, he finally succeeded in choosing a username.

"Yes, 'Demonic - Angel' is just perfect." Saying this to himself, Arc had a smile like a child that he is.

He muttered this in a little loud voice so he reminded himself to not speak too high.

After the name was finalized, he saw an enter option appearing.

He clicked on it.

Then the screen went black before it again connected but the look of a page from before had changed like the previous page was just some fake page.

Seeing this information on the first page of the platform, Arc was completely dumbstruck because he couldn't even think if all this was available for people ranked as newbies than what higher-ranked users could access.

He wanted to check the exchange feature but he does not have much capital or things to sell so he thought it would be all right.

A page that was constantly moving with the many messages appeared.

These ever-appearing new messages were enough to pique the interest of Arc.

He was now more interested in this feature of Experiments Rat tasks. If these were mentioned as tasks then there must be rewards for Completing them.
