Chapter 45 - Lighting Forest Trial Starts

As the lighting entered the monkey, it zipped from one part of the body to another, and at last, it went into the back where the lighting was tattooed. It exited out from the back and with excitement sent a terrifying yellow discharge into the body.

The lighting totally enveloped the tattoo, and the body started to disappear bit by bit. It was as if Kyle activated the system to start absorbing the energy for exp, but instead, the lighting was consuming the very nature of the body the elemental affinity.

This process didn't take that long, but as lighting entered back Kyles body, he could sense that now was full of energy and vitality.

Kyle could use the lighting element now. This meant that he could finally open the lighting trial that was awaiting him.

At the same moment, very far away, at least a thousand contents away a mighty being resided. The being was completely naked with only a towel surrounding his private area.

Around him, at least 100 other girls were lying on either the bed or other types of furniture. The girls were all extreme beauties that would only be seen in thousands of years.

The man himself had shut eyes and was simply enjoying the moment of tranquillity.

Suddenly his eyes opened wide, and he half stood up on the bed.

His eyes were now awake, and he was smiling fully.

"Finally! Someone is attempting my trial!" With that, he stood up and was already fully dressed in clothes. He quickly walked out of the room and headed into a pagoda* that had at least 100 levels.

When he arrived, he was the first one, but quickly more and more people arrived at the 100th floor.

There was a transparent mirror at the moment, but as the being touched the mirror, suddenly lighting struck the mirror, and an image of the remote place appeared.

There, on the screen, Kyle was sitting in a lotus position and meditating. He was radiating azure coloured qi, and he had lighting bounce from him to the monkey body constantly.

"So it seems that our ember trial finally has been discovered again. What continent is it? How strong is the one challenging it?" The men that came last and was dressed in green robe said.

"Basselt don't ask any more questions. Volta has finally gotten a good sidling that can potentially join our ranks." A man full in red said.

Volta, the being resting with the girls before, and now dressed fully in the purple clothes looked at the screen with enthusiasm, "Finally, someone who has the chance of joining Embers. I have already analysed his qi imprint, and he has incredible potential. I hope that he doesn't die in the trials!" Volta said, and then laughingly said, "Don't worry brothers, you will also get more chances soon. If he is successful, then would tell everyone around him about our trials palace!"

Everyone else put their heads down and disappointed started looking at the mirror.

At this time, Kyle was busy combining and training his lightning element that he finally was able to utilise.

Even though the lighting didn't want to listen to Kyle's orders directly, when he gave up some of the qi in exchange for the request, a small, maybe 1 out of 100% energy would separate and would get effortlessly controlled by Kyle.

Kyle was not satisfied with that, as he only could hope that this pitiful amount of energy would be enough for the stature to make him a competent to start the trial.

Kyle wished for the energy to release, and the energy started pulsating from the dantian and the meridians into the fingertips. After that, Kyle pointed at the statue and with full force released the lighting with full might.

Af the energy was only 1 single per cent out of 100%, Kyle was not expecting it to be much, but what happened astonished him to the fullest.

A huge, yellow sized lighting released and with might equal if not more to the Wave of Conviction struck the statue.

The statue before was silently waiting to feel the thunder, but pieces of rocks and dust started to break off from the statue after it got struck.

Eyes of the statue were glowing bright purple and started to release some energy to keep the sculpture tighter's whole structure.

Kyle didn't know what to say, but now at the base of the statue, a large hole the size that would let a full-grown man put their hand in, appeared.

Considering that it was only a single per cent, that was enough to kill most of the beasts that Kyle met so far in an instant.

The statue hummed and with high pitched voice stated, "You are worthy. The trial will start as soon as you walk into the next chamber. Every time you complete the trial, go into the passage to challenge the next tier." With that said, magically, a new path with yellow embedded stone appeared behind the statue.

Kyle checked that he had all of the items that he needed inside his storage space. He also checked how much energy and qi he had available and whenever he could use any lighting element powers anymore.

Considering that the statue and the paths were fully charged with the lighting element, Kyle could guess what type of trials would await him.

What really made Kyle annoyed is that ever since his clothes got disintegrated by the lighting charges that were coming into his body when he couldn't move, his body fully lost clothes and any other back up clothes as well. This meant that Kyle right now was but naked with the only thing covering him was a dried up cloth that would be used to store charcoals from the fire.

With everything checked and with both weapons held in his hands, he stepped through the path to begin the trial of Embers.
