Aectaeon couldn't be bothered to listen to the presence in front of him. Well, it wasn't a definite presence, so to speak. The man was conversing with the horizon in between two mountains, considering that was where the voice was coming from.
Still, Aectaeon had an idea as to who he was speaking to. He was sure that he had heard the voice prior to the regrettable meeting.
"If that's what it will take to take get out of this sh*thole, I will gladly die a thousand times. If you were in my place, I bet you would've done the same, Cain and Abel."
Cain and Abel were one of the five rulers of the Obelisk. They were considered as one entity and ruled the highest floor. Aectaeon was able to converse with them beforehand. The purpose was to warn him about his peculiar activities within one of the worlds he transmigrated into. He had yet to forget the unique tonality of their amalgamated voice.

Frankly enough, Cain and Abel were infuriated at how apathetic Aectaeon was. They had been observing all the players from the beginning of the system, yet there was no other like Aectaeon. Excellent though his prowess might be, he was too dangerous to be left alone.
Cain and Abel had the duty of protecting the system. And with Aectaeon posing a risk, they had to eliminate him as soon as possible.

The moment that Cain and Abel were done speaking, the light on the horizon disappeared all of a sudden. In replacement, a towering human shadow -- whose peak reached past the heavens -- came into view.
