Chapter 1: One-tail Attack

(Note: All the tailed beast will be "he" except for 2, 6 and 7 tails)

"Gather all the shinobi in the village immediately!" - Said a man wearing a pale brown flack jacket, black pants, and black sandals to another man wearing the same thing with the only difference of a cloth covering around his head.

"Yes, sir!" - The man said and proceeded to relay the order to other shinobis.

–In the middle of the village–

Houses made of sand everywhere. Streets that look like a sea of dust. Wind that can blind a person. All of this can be seen in this desert land. Where somehow, people were able to make it their home.

But unlike any other night, tonight will forever be remembered.

In the past decades, there has not been an incident that created this much destruction. The houses and infrastructure were flattened, rubbles and big rocks scattered everywhere. These are all caused by one being. A large being. It is a Tanuki-like sand demon that has markings all over its body. This 100 meter tall creature is one of the nine-tailed beasts that are said to be born from the collection of hatred and evil energy. They are beasts possessing incredible and nigh infinite power that surpasses anything in this world.

Many have tried to capture these masses of destruction in an attempt to take its power for themselves, but only few have succeeded. One of them was a man known for his unique technique and abilities, he was able to capture 8 of these godlike beings. He was the previous leader of the most powerful shinobi village, the God of Shinobi, the first Hokage, Senju Hashirama of the wood release. The others who succeeded were the group of shinobis led by a powerful man who soon established their own village in this land, the village that rises to the top even with their unfavorable circumstances, one of the 5 great villages, Sunagakure no Sato.

In the far distance, there are three people jumping through the roofs of the houses at high speed while watching everything unfold.

"What now, Rasa?" - Asked the white haired old woman to the man next to her.

"The festival and gatherings that we prepared were able to attract most of the people out of this area so there's only a few unfortunate souls that were caught in the explosion caused by the appearance of the one-tail. So there's nothing to worry about, Chiyo-sama." - The man named Rasa replied. He has brown-red short spiky hair, wearing a black long sleeve, black pants, and black sandals.

"I can't believe you've done this to your own son and your own people. And you've got the guts to say that there's nothing to worry about?" - Chiyo said, with anger in her voice.

"Sister is right. You didn't even tell us anything about this. We only learned about this after that tanuki was suddenly released inside the village." - The old man said disappointedly.

"I apologize for that, Ebizo-sama. I know that you two won't agree with this plan of testing Gaara's capacity as a jinjuriki. That's why I only discussed it with a few council members. As it turned out, Gaara is a very unstable jinjuriki once exposed to a great deal of stress. At least, this will let us know what improvements and developments needed to make him a reliable weapon and guardian of the village." - Rasa said.

Unlike any other villages, Suna is very different. The main reason they were able to remain one of the great villages till now was because they only allowed a member of Kazekage clan (Suna's Royal family) to be their Kage, especially someone who inherited the First Kazekage's kekkei genkai. This avoids the formation of another faction and maintains unity in the village.

Although the First Kazekage was very powerful, he couldn't capture the one-tail by himself. He wasn't able to take advantage of his magnet release and push it to its limit, so his main strength relies on his wind release. It's only after the 3rd Kazekage copied the jutsu of Shukaku's sand manipulation using his magnet release that they see the potential of magnet release. After that, in all of Suna's history, the 3rd Kazekage wes the first to be able to beat a full power tailed-beast by himself, gaining the title of The Strongest Kazekage.

The tailed beast in front of them is very powerful, it has enough power to pulverize the whole village in a matter of seconds. It's only thanks to the seal that it was weakened, restraining it from creating a very powerful tailed beast bomb.

Not long after, Rasa, Chiyo and Ebizo arrived at the location and proceeded to take down the one-tail Shukaku.

Rasa immediately channeled his chakra towards the sealing tag on the bottle-size gourd on his waist. Suddenly, a surge of gold sand came out of it, enough to cover the whole village.

Seeing the shadow created from the wave of gold sand, Shukaku turned to his back and roared so loud that it could be heard through out the village. He opened his mouth and gathered an 8:2 ratio of positive and negative chakra in front of him, creating a massive black-violet orb. Thanks to the inefficiency of the seal containing him, he couldn't channel his full strength without killing his host which would also kill him in the process.

Shukaku launched his attack towards the direction of Rasa at supersonic speed. Rasa raised his hands and manipulated his gold sand. With his mastery over his magnet release and years of experience, he was able to match the speed of the incoming attack. He enveloped the tailed-beast bomb with a super packed and dense gold sand, creating a solid gold sphere and then squeezed it.

*Boom!*

A loud explosion was heard inside the sphere, creating bumps around it.

–Distant location, far from the battle–

"H-hey, Temari. D-do you think Gaara's alright?" - An 8 years old boy nervously said. He has spiky brown hair and black marking around the edge of his eyelids.

"Don't worry, Kankuro. Father said that everything will be alright." - Replied by a girl a year older than the boy named Kankuro. She has blond hair tied in four ponytails.

…..

On that night, the 4th Kazekage Rasa, with the help of the two sealing expert war veteran shinobis, were able to defeat the tailed beast while other shinobis guarded the perimeter of the battlefield to protect and evacuate some of the villagers who's inside the perimeter.

//The next day//

In a quite spacious room, a 6 years old child woke up. He has red spiky hair and a black marking around both of his eyes like that of Kankuro.

"U-Ugh!" 'What was that dream?' - The boy said to himself.

He looked above him and saw a ceiling made out of… sand? This confused him.

He got up and sat on the edge of the bed. Looking around, he has no idea where he is. Everything around him is made out of sand. From his bed, drawer, door, and the room itself.

'Where is this place? This is my first time seeing something like this.' - He said. He tapped the bed covered with a bedsheet under him. Contrary to its look, it was soft, softer than his usual bed. 'Woah!' - He exclaimed in his mind.

Then, he looked at his feet. He could see a feet of a child, fair skin, short and quite chubby. He wiggled his toes to see its response and it moved according to his will. Next, his arms. It was also short and chubby.

This shocked the boy. His heart beat increased and he felt very nervous because of this unrealistic situation. Having watched anime and read many manga, fanfics and novels, he has a rough idea about his current situation.

There's a chance that this is a dream, but he couldn't just dismiss the idea of being reincarnated or transmigrated to another body. After all, he's quite certain that he died. Plus the scene he saw last night, it just strengthened his guess.

Looking around, he saw a mirror on top of the drawer next to him. He picked it up and slowly put it in front of his face. There, he saw the reflection, specifically his face. The most noticeable thing he noticed is the wound carved on the left side of his forehead like a tattoo, a kanji word for "love".

Suddenly, a surge of memories enters his mind. Memories about what happened last night and other 6 years worth of experience and memories.

'So that's what happened, huh. I wasn't able to control myself and unleashed Shukaku in the process.' - (Gaara)

He took a deep breath in, and breathed out. He looked at the ceiling and thought back.

'I can clearly remember my past life on earth as a 15 years old teenager and my life here as a 6 years old Gaara. 15 years of living vs. 6 years of living, I can definitely say that I, who once lived on modern Earth, dominated this body. Or maybe, I'm a completely different person now? Anyway, since I'm inside this body, I will still be the Gaara of Suna, the jinjuriki of the one-tail Shukaku, and one of the most powerful shinobi in my generation.' - (Gaara)

Although all of this happened so fast, he immediately accepted it, mostly because of Gaara's memories that he felt okay being Gaara.
