1 I

I let out a sigh as I paced around the house, thinking about the little fight my sister and I had a few days ago. 𝑆ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑏𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒.. I thought as I rubbed my face before walking towards the living room. Now that she wasn't around anymore things were quieter, and teasing the maids had gotten a bit tiresome, I had nothing else to do around the house any longer. 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒'𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑦 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡.. 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑔𝑜𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑝𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑟 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑖𝑡 𝑚𝑦𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓.. I looked at my watch before finally deciding to head into town to see if there was anything intriguing to discover. I rolled my sleeves down, grabbed a hat and pair of gloves before leaving.

While I was out, I was able to buy a few things as well as look at the many people who were just wandering about. 𝐺𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒'𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑚𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑑𝑎𝑦𝑠. I thought with disappointment as I flew above houses until I suddenly heard crying and arguing. I looked down and noticed three girls in a backyard and I smirked before flying down and sat on top of a roof. 𝐹𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦, 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑏𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔. I concepted, watching everything unfold. "-apologize to Ivy already! Is it that hard to do?" One of the girls said to one of the others. "No! No damn way! She should have just listened to me when I told her to stay out of the way! So don't you try and tell me to apologize, Reneé!" Another yelled. "C-can we at least get alo-long?" A third asked nicely. "Shut the hell up Ivy!" The second girl shouted at her which caused her to sob. "Nekoka!" "What?" 𝑆𝑜, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑟𝑦 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑁𝑒𝑘𝑜𝑘𝑎, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑑𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑐𝑟𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑠 𝐼𝑣𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑅𝑒𝑛𝑒é.. I thought as I continued to observe them until I heard another voice as someone walked outside.

"Now what is going on out here?" An older woman queried. "Nekoka won't apologize to Ivy after hitting her with the ball!" Reneé yelled which caused Nekoka to growl. "That's only because she didn't listen to me when I told her to stay out of the damn way!" "Hey! You know how I feel about swearing, Nekoka. I am trying to cook and I don't want you three being rude to one another while I do so. Please, Nekoka, apologize to your sister." The woman said with a sigh as she watched the blonde girl. "Fine. If it makes her stop crying.." Nekoka said as she turned towards Ivy, who looked up at her. "I'm sorry for yelling at you." She said and Ivy sniffled. "I-It's okay.. but you were r-right, I should have stayed o-out of the way a little bit.." She responded and Nekoka got red in the race which made Reneé snicker. "Alright girls, come inside. It's beginning to get dark and dinner is almost ready." Okay Marshmallow." The girls said in unison as they rushed inside the house. 𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔... 𝐼 𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑝𝑎𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑎 𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑜𝑛. I thought with a smile as I went back home.

𝟑𝐫𝐝

Inside the house, the girls were eating the food Marshmallow had prepared for them. "This is delicious! Thank you Marshy!" Nekoka said happily as she ate the rest of her food. "Awe, thank you hun." She smiled brightly. "T-thank you Marsh.." Ivy stuttered shyly and Marshmallow smiled at her. "Oh yeah, remember girls, once you head upstairs you have to make sure that you have everything ready for our trip tomorrow. We will be leaving around twelve thirty-ish." She said and the three nodded. "Okay!" Once they were all finished, they excused themselves from the table before heading upstairs to their rooms. Once Reneé and Ivy were in their room, Reneé jumped onto her bed. "Are you excited for our trip tomorrow?!" She queried keenly before flopping back. "Y-yeah, but it's kinda scary if you think a-about it.." Ivy said as she covered up under her blanket. "How is it kind of scary?" Reneé asked her sister as she tilted her head. "Well-"

"It's just because we aren't going to be home for a little while. That's what she finds a bit scary." Nekoka voiced as she walked into the bedroom which made the two girls look at her. "Don't be mean now, Nekoka, otherwise I will get Marshmallow." Reneé warned which made the blonde girl roll her eyes. "I'm not, so don't worry about that. I was just saying that's what she found scary." "It will be fine thought. We won't be gone for that long, Ivy." Reneé reassured as she looked back at the sleepy looking girl. "I think it's time for us to get some sleep otherwise we'll be too tired to leave tomorrow." Nekoka voiced as she climbed into her bed, Reneé doing the same. "Goodnight Ivy, goodnight Nekoka. Let's have fun on this trip." Reneé said as she got comfortable before they all fell asleep.
