Chapter - 3

Drakken was fumbling about, trying to figure out the layout of this place. While there were podiums with maps on them, they didn't show any restricted areas. Shego, bored, decided to do something about it. She approached a passing staff bot and said, "Hi there, listen the manager wanted a copy of the blueprints for animatronics on the main stage, can you help me?"

The bot stood there for a moment and then said, "Please remind the Happy Man, that all physical blueprints are in the repair bay on the basement level, the only access points are the service elevator by the stars' personal rooms and the staircase by the exit of Monty's safari ride." The bot then returned to its previous tasks. Shego looked at Drakken with a smug look and he in an annoyed tone said, "Well, if you want to do it the easy way." Shego then remarked, "Speaking of easier, why are we doing this now and not, oh I don't know, when they leave?"

As they made their way to their destination, Drakken said, "Because Shego, this requires stealth and these robots may not be intelligent, but they will still recognize that someone is here. Since Kim and her sidekick are currently taking a tour, any records will be associated with them, Mwhahaha! I am a genius."

As they passed through the hallway that connected the stars' rooms, they heard a voice. They froze for a moment, worried that they were caught. But they soon realized that it was coming from a room that had its door slightly ajar. They spotted the elevator, and made a immediate break for it.

As it went down, Shego looked at Drakken with annoyance. Drakken said, "What! Everything is going well, so what could you be annoyed about?" Shego said, "This whole thing appears to be a waste of my time. Seriously, why am I here?"

As the doors open and they entered, Draken decided not to answer because he knew he would be in for a rather annoying lecture when they left, no matter what. As they began searching, Drakken complained about the poor lighting, saying, "How can we steal the designs or any equipment if we can't find them." Shego felt something was off, she said, "You're right." Drakken interrupted saying, "Of course I'm right! I mean-"

Shego put her hands over his mouth, and said, "No! I mean this place isn't suited for human workers. It's like humans weren't meant to be down here."

Then they heard a voice say, "Well you're right for the most part." They both turned around expecting to see Kim Possible but instead it was her tour guide. Before they could react, he threw something at Shego. It wrapped around her head and then gave her a jolt of electricity. She immediately fell unconscious.

Drakken tried to run for it, but he felt something sharp sink into his ankle. As he fell over, he saw a rather cartoonish looking cupcake biting him. It let go and immediately disappeared into an air vent.

He then felt a tug on his collar, and he found himself being dragged. He shouted, "Where are you taking me!? Do you know who I am!?"

The man said, "For the first, I'm taking you to be introduced to the Nightmare Crew. As for the second, it doesn't matter... at least not anymore."

Kim and Ron were exiting of Monty's safari ride, where their guide was waiting. Kim was a little suspicious when he suddenly asked them to test it, and then said he had to deal with other matters and would join them at the rides exit.

She wanted to ask but for some reason she suspected she would be lied to. As they approached, H.M. asked, "How did you find the ride?" Ron immediately answered, "Awesome! I especially liked the gator with the mohawk." HM responded, "That was Monty, the proprietor of this ride. Which reminds me we have time for one last thing, I'm pleased to showcase the amazing performance involving the entire Fazbear family."

On their way there, Kim noted it was already 9 in the evening. While it was technically late, she couldn't help but ask, "Is there any particular reason for closing at 10pm on the dot?"

Without missing a beat, H.M. said, "Back in the 80s it was mostly because of labor laws, and other financial reasons, but now it's more so we can clean, are stars can recharge, and other financial reasons." He led them to a pair of seats in the front before immediately heading towards the stage. Kim noted that seats were comfortable and left plenty of room in between the rows. There were also rails and ten meters of what looked like a dance floor separating the front row and the actual stage. Suddenly the lights went off, then a single spot shown on the center of the stage. The Happy Man stood there, microphone in hand, he said, "I just want to give our heartfelt thanks to our new friends, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable! So, thank you, and without further ado, I am proud to present! Multiple generations of the Fazbear family!"

Suddenly, multi-colored lights activated, and music start playing. The whole performance lasted 45 minutes. Kim had to admit, she found it rather entertaining. From the songs to Ballora's dance, she had fun, even for someone of her age.

As they left however, Kim couldn't help but feel like H.M. was sizing her up. Like she was an animal being looked over for slaughter.

When they arrived at the parking lot, Ron asked, "So K.P. are you satisfied?" Kim thought for a moment, then she said, "Honestly Ron, not really. I wish you brought Rufus with us. He could've created a distraction and allowed me to do a proper search of this place."

Ron didn't bring Rufus for a few different reasons. First, Rufus was actually helping her younger brothers with their science project. Between the three of them it was shaping up to be rather mind blowing. And secondly, Ron didn't want to risk being banned from this place before it even opened. As they drove away, Kim couldn't shake the feeling that there was something dark about that place.

Shego woke up, she felt groggy, her sense of touch was off, her skin felt numb. Her other senses sharpened immediately once she realized she was in a rather cramped room. The only thing in it was a simple cot and a mirror. The door looked like the kind of heavy bulkhead door you see on a navy ship, and there was a tiny air vent above it. The room was poorly lit, enough to see but not really anything else.

Shego tried to summon her powers to blast open the door. Only she couldn't, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't feel her powers. She went to the mirror, and that was she noticed a few things. First, she was naked, and she got very angry. The second thing she noticed was some kind of electronic collar around her neck. She got even angrier. She tried to smash the mirror, only for her fist to stop a inch from impact.

She realized that the collar must be responsible, she sat back on the cot, she muttered, "I'm sure that idiot Drakken got away, he wouldn't have stuck around the moment I lost consciousness, since he tends to be helpless when I'm not around, I'm sure he'll have his henchmen rip this place apart. I'll just rest for now; my body feels numb anyways."

As she laid down and drifted to sleep, she was unaware that there was in fact camera, watching and listening to what she was doing. It was a special camera, one that didn't connect to a monitor but directly to the Happy Man instead. There were several such cameras in that area, however there was one even more special, like the others it also can only be used by the Happy Man, however there was no sound.

There were no lights, in fact if anyone other than the Happy Man tried to view that feed, they would see nothing and think they had a broken camera. The Happy Man didn't need to use it, because the only thing left in there is some traces of shredded and bloody pieces of a blue lab coat.

...

The Happy Man had made mental note about what Shego said and began making the appropriate adjustments. He was pleased how things were going, he had one more experiment to test. The result of this one would determine his plans moving forward. As the animatronics returned to their rooms to recharge and get ready for tomorrow's grand opening, H.M.'s eyes followed Roxy as her hips swayed very seductively.

A desire began to rise up, but H.M. knew he couldn't act on it just yet. He needed everyone at their very best for tomorrow. Besides there were five ladies waiting for him in his room, down in the basement. This place was interesting, two levels where the customer had access, attractions dedicated to a specific animatronic. Like Roxy's Raceway or OG Freddy's mini golf.

Everyone had something, except for him. Not that anyone would think to question that detail. Not even the suits of course they either completely failed to notice that neither the Nightmare or the Erotic versions were anywhere to be seen or mentioned, or perhaps they didn't want to know. As H.M. made his way to the basement to blow off some steam, he searched the database for a suitable candidate for his next experiment.

A large crowd was forming as the new restaurant was minutes away from opening. Kim was there, her brothers heard Ron talk about it so they wanted to see. Her mom was there, as was Ron and her friend, Monique.

Officially, Ron and Monique were there to support Kim as she still couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong. In reality, when Ron described the rides, he and Monique somehow got into a weird who-was-better competition. Now they were going to use this place to settle everything. The doors opened, and H.M. stepped out. With a smile on his face, he said, "Welcome! One and all to what you will surely consider the greatest place one earth!" He stepped aside and the everyone entered. There were signs. The price of pizza varied depending on the size from a single slice to a custom extra-large. There was also a promotion, all the rides were free today only.

Kim looked at the price board, it would appear normally have to pay ten dollars for access to each ride, or a bundle of fifty dollars for an all-ride pass and seventy-five dollars for a "VIP" pass.

There appeared to another promotion was on going. "Win top score or complete special tasks for a chance to win a special prize."

Kim then noticed the schedule, "Open 9am to 10pm. Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sunday, reserved for special events, private parties, or general cleaning and upkeep."

Kim then felt odd, she looked around and realized she was alone in the lobby. She immediately left to find everyone. She found Ron and Monique at the go-kart track. She saw the animatronic wolf, Roxy giving color commentary. As Kim continued to look around, she how saw how different the whole place felt with people in it.

Despite it all however, she still felt like she was being watched. As the day went on, it appeared to be nothing was wrong, no one started to scream about missing children, no one complained about broken rides, or bad food. Kim began to think her feelings about this place were wrong. The next surprise was that it was Monique who won the contest, the prize was a yearlong VIP pass.

Monique slightly embarrassed that her competition with Ron had caused her to win the contest. The only real thing that still bothered her was when it was fifteen minutes till closing it felt like they were being rushed out. Seriously, the staff bots were clearing the bathrooms, tables, and shutting down everything, no exception. Like it would be a bad thing if anyone was there during the night, after closing. Kim thought about another thing for a moment, she didn't know if it was impressive or disturbing that she, Ron, and Monique had spent all day there without noticing the passage of time. Which makes the abruptness of the closing all the more confusing. After all most restaurants simply let people leave at their own pace. This place was definitely hiding something.
