Chapter One

-1st person POV.-

My ears twitched as I tilted my 6 year old head to the source of the noise, confusion currently written on my face.

I hopped off the swing I was on and turned walking over to the loud kids, curious about what all the commotion was about.

"What's going on over here?" I tilted my head as I slowly made my way into the middle of the two boys.

"None of your business! Dumb girl!" A boy with black hair snarled at me as my ears twitched a little, causing me to look back at the sobbing boy behind me.

"Why are you crying?" I questioned as I turned around, forgetting about the rude comment and crouching in front of the Raven haired boy.

He sniffled "h-he was-s m-making fun of m-my qu-quirk.." he hiccuped as his hair landed in front of his face.

'I didn't know it at the time but'

"Hey! I'm still here!!" The young boy yelled as he shoved me, causing me to fall over.

'I really hated bullies'

Turning around, my brows furrowed as my eyes slitted and I used my tail to whack his feet, causing him to fall over.

The boy started crying as he stood up, running back to his mom, tilting my head again at his actions, I turned around and I held my hand out to the Dark haired boy.

'and this is what would'

He grabbed my hand letting me pull him up.

"Are you ok?" I questioned as he stood up and nodded "I'm (Y/n) what's your name?" Looking up with a sparkle in his eyes he smiled "I'm Amajiki"

"Nice to meet you Amajiki!"

'Bring me here, Today'

"Ms. Fury" called the teacher, causing my head to look up "Yes ma'am?" I tilted my head as the teacher read over my paper.

"Dream smaller sweetie, students in this part of town.. such as yourself rarely make it into U.A" she said, a shit eating smirk on her face.

Standing up I smiled as I took off my sunglasses, looking straight into her eyes, my own eyes turning into thin slits for a second "well, I guess I'll just have to be one of those kids that does make it." I smirked.

Pushing my sunglasses back up to cover my eyes, I slung my bag over my shoulder "Have a nice day ma'am!!"

I giggled as I happily walked out of the classroom, and made my way down the hall.

Walking out of the school doors I smiled breathing in and exhaling out of my mouth, the cold air was pretty refreshing.

I waved to some of my friends as they started their walks home before starting my walk home.

I looked at the sky and shivered 'guess I'm walking home' I sighed as I turned and started making my way home.

It was only a few blocks away so I was ok with walking when it was too cold.

It was getting dark and being the over paranoid person I am, I looked at the sky and started jogging home.

-Small time skip-

Opening the door I closed it and sighed warming up as soon as I walked in.

"Hey sweetie how was school?" My mom smiled as she turned to me "it was pretty good I guess, we got to choose our carreers today"

She smiled as she turned around "which career did you choose?" She questioned as I took off my bag and made my way to my room "I'm going to be a Hero and I already know which school I wanna go to!"

"Oh really?" I heard my dad's voice as I walked out of my room with my phone.

"Yep" I smiled walking down the stairs as I passed my dad "I'm going to U.A"

A groan was heard as I walked into the kitchen where my little sister was trying to feed my baby brother.

"I wanted to go to U.A!" She complained as I walked towards her and sat down.

"Well you can still go to U.A" I patted her head as I waited for my food.

"Stop doin that, I'm only a few years younger than you" she huffed.

"But your still shorter than me" I retorted causing her to look at me.

"Well your shorter than everyone else" she glared as she tried to get the baby to open his mouth to eat.

"I can fly" I smiled as her head snapped towards me, her mismatch eyes instantly slitting as she huffed.

"well I'm gonna be a better hero than you" her throat started lighting up, causing the small dog under the table to start barking at her in protest.

"(S/n). No." My dad spoke sternly as mom came around sliding our plates to us "Cosmic stop barking" (S/n) said, the young puppy instantly going quiet.

"Eat, (Y/n) you need to be ready to train hard to get into your hero school" she smiled.

Nodding my head, I grabbed my fork and quickly ate before taking a shower and going to bed.

'I have ten months to prepare, I better make this count' I looked at my ceiling in determination before, turning on my side and looking at my phone.

'okay maybe one episode of (favorite anime)'
