Flash Marriage With My Mysterious Husband

Chloe's P. O. V

I was waiting in front of the courtroom for Dave and it has been 3 hours now. But Dave was nowhere to be seen. Today was our wedding day but Dave kept me standing here waiting for him. Being impatient I dialed his number again.

"Chloe, I am really sorry, I am stuck here in a show and there's been an accident with a model. Can we postpone our marriage today?" Dave gave a lame excuse as soon as he picked up the call as if our marriage meant nothing to him.

"Dave, how long will you talk to her? Come here I am feeling sick again," I heard a woman's voice at the other end of the phone. I am very much aware of who was that woman. It was none other than my so-called best friend Jane. The event of last night came in my mind as soon as Dave disconnected the call without listening to what I wanted to say.

FLASHBACK

After my bachelorette party I was acting to be passed out to give Dave a surprise wedding gift, but what I witnessed next left me shocked. I was going to my room without making any noise when I heard some strange noise coming from my room. I could hear muffled voices and those muffled voices soon became clear as I went near to my room.

"Oh baby, you feel so good inside me. I wish we could stay like this always." A woman was shouting in pleasure.

"Don't be so louder, you might wake Chloe." A male voice whispered and yelled at her to be cautious. I know who the male voice belongs to but I didn't want to trust my ears.

"Are you scared of her now? You should have thought about her before making me pregnant. And she's not going to be in her senses for the next few hours," the female voice said in between her moans. The door of my bedroom was slightly ajar and I could see the owners of the voices from the slightly opened door. 

Inside the room, there was my fiancé and my best friend having s*x. They both continued their shameless session while I was standing thunderstruck at the door of my own bedroom and watching both my fiancé and my so-called best friend cheating on my back that too in my very own bed. They were so sure about me being knocked out that they didn't even think about locking the door.

I couldn't control my anger anymore and burst open the door. Dave was shocked seeing me there but I saw a smirk on Jane's face.

"How could you do this to me? Both of you were my closest person and you were fooling around behind my back all this time?" I asked them fuming. Tears were streaming down my eyes.

"Babe, it was a mistake. I was drunk and I mistook her for you," Dave continued his lame excuses.

"So you mistakenly made her pregnant and thought it was me?" I yelled at him.

"Why are you making it a scene? Everyone in the company knew that Dave was in love with me always. He was just marrying you for the sake of his promise to you. Now that you know about us then I wouldn't let him marry you," Jane spilled every poison she had in her mind for me while draping the bed sheet around her naked body.

"I always thought you were my best friend. I didn't know you had so much hatred for me in your heart. I am calling off this wedding," my voice broke. I couldn't take this scene in front of my eyes so decided to leave. But Dave stopped me.

"Babe, please trust me it was a mistake. Tomorrow is our wedding; don't call it off. I promise I will change for you. Please give me a chance," Dave pleaded to me with tears in his eyes. I loved him with all my heart so I couldn't see him crying like this.

"Are you sure you want to marry me? What about your baby?" I asked him while sobbing.

"I will break up with Jane and she will abort the baby. Please forgive me for the sake of our old time," he begged me and I believed his fake tears and agreed to marry him. Jane stormed out of my room with her clothes and heels in her room.

'I shouldn't have trusted him and given him another chance. I shouldn't have let them insult me in front of so many people,' I thought in my mind. Dave runs a modeling agency and Jane was his number-one supermodel. Of course, he will give her more priority than his commitment to me. But I was also a famous model and I left my career only for him. How could he do this to me? I was distraught by his betrayal and dealing with my own emotions when I heard someone screaming on the phone. 

"I don't know what will you do to find a bride for me. I need to get married today," A stranger in a tuxedo was yelling at one of his employees. He seemed to be in a rush to get married but he had the same bad luck to me. 

"Miss Tyler, where is your groom to be? The officer is waiting for you," the register's assistant asked me. A lone tear dropped from my left eye.

"My partner is not coming. I am sorry for wasting your time," I managed to spell those words before running away from there. I ran to the nearest bench and sat there with my teary eyes.

''Why are you punishing me like this?" I said looking at the blue sky. I gave up my dream, fame, and profession everything for Dave but he couldn't even leave his mistress for me? Why is God so hard on me? I was still complaining to God for his injustice to me when a man offered me a tissue.

"My name is Thomas and I know who you are. It looks like your partner betrayed you. Would you like to take revenge on him?" he asked. I was surprised by his words. Who was this man and why he was willing to help me?

"Who are you and how can I take revenge on him?" I asked him with a questioning look.

"My boss will help you to take revenge and in exchange, you have to marry him right now," he said with a straight face.

Did he just ask me to marry his boss? Who is his boss and why does he want to marry me?
