Up in my room sat me and my cat, which I named little Adriana. I have a lot of homework to be done, but I just wanted to take a break to rest my head, since I've stressed it too much.

My mom and Dad are never around because they are always out there working around the pack house.

We Omegas are never taken seriously for we are lesser compared to the Alpha who is our leader to our pack, and he's the most powerful and well respect werewolf.

The beta is second in command to the Alpha, which means when the Alpha is not around, the beta takes his place and handle the pack's affairs.

We have the Gamma and Delta who also assist the Alpha in taking care of the pack.

Lest I forget, my name is Adriana Cameron, and I am a werewolf but the weakest of them all.

I'm 17 years old now, and in a year time I will be eighteen and be able to make good use of my wolf.

When an omega like me came of age, we are bound to leave our parents and go work for the higher ups (Alpha).

We as omegas cannot live an independent life for we are never given a chance to, we are meant to be the slaves of the higher pack members.

Next year after I come of age, I was told by my parents that I will be working for the Alpha's children

I never liked them because they are bullies, specially Rafael Panther. He is very handsome, and he had numerous girls around him.

Even the omegas are obsessed with him, and he had slept with them all.

I never want to become anyone's slave, I have a lot I want to do in my life than become a maid to the Alpha's pups.

The next day I woke up and dressed my bed, which was something my mom always taught me to do.

I took my bath and prepared for school.

I looked at myself in the mirror, my dark brown hair is so coarse and full, no matter how hard I try to make it soft.

Furthermore, I applied so many hair oils, but there was nothing much I could do,, so I held it up in a ponytail and wore my big glasses to hide the freckles under my eyes.

I wore my favorite black leggings and an oversized cardigan my mom gave me.

Actually, the Cardigan came in handy because I never liked putting on tiny clothes to school.

I detest the way the girls in my school dressed. They are always in skimpy dresses that shows of their thighs and cleavages.

All that was to attract Rafael Panther, the soon-to-be Alpha.

Eww... his name alone makes me want to puke. I so detest him because he bullies and insults me whenever he sees me.

I wonder what crime I committed against him in my first life.

Sometimes going to school is tiring, all because of the likes of Kyle and his entourage.

But I have no choice, if I really hope to be free, I believe I can only do that by going to school.

"Hey Ady you came early today" Diane jumped on me in excitement.

"Of course I have to, I want to avoid being punished for coming late again"

Diane chuckled, seeing how serious I am.

"You know what I think?" Diane can be very mischievous at times, I know whatever she's thinking isn't something good.

"What?" I asked. Diane smiled at me.

"I think you are trying to avoid your bully crush, Rafeal".

I opened my eyes widely at Diane in shock. I looked around to see if anyone was eavesdropping on us, and fortunately no one was.

"Diane, will you stop saying that?". I shut her mouth with my hands and dragged her with me to class.

She struggled to free her my hands from her mouth.

"I won't let you say a word, not until we get to class".

I only released my hold to her mouth, when we finally got to class.

Class was still empty, which meant I came really early today.

Diane, on the other hand, was always an early bloomer, so it's not new to me.

"Why did you stop me from speaking?, you know I am telling the truth".

Diane chuckled even more. She's always good at teasing me.

"That was a long time ago, besides I was still a kid and idiotic, I can never be in love with the beast he has become now".

"Never say never, Ady, haven't you heard about a bully becoming one's mate?".

I rolled my eyes at Diane. "That day will never come, even if it does, I will reject him trust me."

"You aren't being serious, are you, Ady?." Will you be willing to reject an Alpha if he were to become your mate?".

"Of course not, no girl in her right senses will reject her mate unless he is someone like Rafael. I so wish his mate will reject him someday, that is, if he ever finds her."

That's how much I detest Rafael. Knowing I will soon be working at his home made my stomach turn in a bad way.

Class went on smoothly for the day, and we are giving more home works to do.

"I'm getting tired of doing home works all the time" Diane said frowning.

One thing I know about my best friend is the fact that she never liked anything related to books.

Unlike me, I love reading, and I'm always the best in class, that's why most people call me a nerd coupled with the fact that I wear baggy clothes.

"Can you help me with my homework, Ady?, I promise to buy you your favorite snack".

I knew it! Generally, I'm the one who did Diane's homework.

"Please…." She came closer to me, giving me her puppy eye look, and I couldn't say no.

"Okay, but this will be the very last time I will help you with your homework, understood?".
