Why are they fighting?

"Damn this is some pretty big ass bookshelves," Cari said as he looked at the bookshelves that were 20 feet high.

"is it me or is this first floor a little bit bigger than what it looks like outside?"Angel said looking around.

"Well, this isn't an ordinary Library. This library has many mysteries to it. Only the higher-ups in this world know its secrets." Julieta explains as she leads them further in.

"well I guess we could just look around the library for right now so we can get a basic layout," Cari responds trying to keep everybody together.

"I was thinking the same thing" Richard Replies.

"so how big is this place?" Leslie asked.

"Nobody really knows besides the higher-ups" Julieta responded, leading them down a aIsle with towering bookshelves on each side of them.

"With all these books they have to have manga somewhere…" Angel paid close attention to the bookshelves.

"They probably have something like manga. But it's probably not called manga." Richard thought logically.

"Yeah, you're probably right," Angel responded and sighs a little bit disappointed but still hopeful that he'll find manga one day.

"These books here should be what you're looking for, Cari. They have info about how Qompo works." Julieta stopped in front of a large bookshelf that was a bit bigger than the rest.

"Nice." Cari just started grabbing random books off the shelves until he had 15 books that were each 1000 pages long. "Ight, I think I'm good for now. Where do I check these out?"

"Follow me." Julieta walked up to a counter that had a librarian behind it.

"Will this be all for you?" The sweet smiley middle-aged black hair librarian asked.

"Yeah." Cari set the books on the desk and immediately after the librarian said "You're all set. Have them back by 2 weeks" Suddenly the librarian frowned "Or else I'll come or I'll send somebody to strangle you." Her words sent a chill down everybody's spine.

"I'll keep that in mind," Cari said back causally then picked up his books and left. When they got outside the library it still felt like the presence of the librarian was crushing them until they got a little farther away.

"She was really strong," Osdy said, sweating a bit.

"I could barely even speak with how much power she was giving off." Leslie took a few deep breaths.

"She a goddamn smoke demon." Cari was also affected by her power.

"Why is somebody just casually working as a librarian?" Said as he wiped sweat from his head.

"She made my pp soft." Angel comments.

"Nobody cares!" They all firmly tell Angel.

Cari sighs. "Ight guys I'll see ya later. Imma go study for a while." Cari speeds off with his books.

"Where is he going?" Angel asked.

"How are any of us supposed to know you fucking idiot." Richard sounded like he was tired of his shit for today.

They all went home for the night beside Cari.

When the morning came it was a bright sunrise. The birds chirped. And a gentle breeze flowed.

Richard and the group were walking to the building where their class was.

"Did Cari not come back yesterday?" Angel asked Osdy.

"I haven't seen him, so nah." Osdy responded and yawned a bit.

"What if he like, died," Avery said jokingly, making Richard and Angle chuckled a bit.

"You shouldn't joke like that," Julieta said suddenly standing on the side of them. Scaring them a bit.

"And you shouldn't sneak up on people," Avery responded.

"I walked up to you normally. You're just not the most observant one." Julieta started walking away.

"Damn did she just call me stupid?" Avery thought to himself.

Meanwhile…

"So. Do you know anything about why I can't use any element Qompo abilities?" Cari asked the headmaster.

"You're one of the heroes right?" The headmaster didn't look up from his book and had his feet on his desk.

"I wouldn't call myself that. But yea."

"I have no clue." The headmaster didn't seem to care much.

"Why do I got the feeling you're lying?" Cari pulled up a chair and sat.

"What gives you that feeling?"

"I have no clue." Cari mocked the headmaster.

The headmaster smiled and set his book down. "You shouldn't speak to your elders like that. Do you know what I'm capable of?"

"You're capable of reading porn while talking to somebody." Cari smiled back.

The headmaster started laughing. "Oh man that's rich. Yeah, I guess I am. Anyway, I really don't know why you can't use Qompo." The headmaster put his hand on his chin.

"Damn. Well, I got a few more questions. What happens if I choose not to fight in the war we were sent here for?"

"Hmm…I guess we'd lose the war." The headmaster said casually.

"Why is there even a war going on?"

"I can explain that. A long time ago the gods roamed the earth. And a race called humans lived among them. One day the gods left and trees that reached space remained. Those trees gave us power. Dark elves were caused by humans of darker color gaining power. And the ones who were mixed blood skin turned pale and they became elves. But some became dark elves. And the last remaining humans decided to change their name to Hebe. After the gods left demons came to earth. The elves and Hebe wanted to fight the demons. But the dark elves wanted to join them for some reason. The demons are powerful. They r*pe and kill for fun. The dark elves joined the demons and war broke out to stop them." The headmaster explained.

Cari just looked at him.

"You look unsatisfied with that answer. Why?" The headmaster raised his eyebrow.

"For some reason, I feel like there is more to that story. It doesn't make any sense in some places. But whatever. If that's all you know pornmaster then that's all you know. I'm gonna head to class now." Cari stood up and left.

"Did he just call me pornmaster?" The headmaster thought to himself.
