In this life, I can never be yours, but next life you will be forever mine. A high school crush turned into an ill-fated romance. She was his addiction, but for her, he was her worst nightmare. Crystal tried every way to win the game of war while Silas tried to win the game of love. One gamble to give the other the most torturous death and tried to make her slip and fall into the web of love. Who will win the deathly game and who will lose? —— Excerpt~ "Why can't you just speak for once?" He asked, tired of her silence. "Canary kept in a cage will never sing. No matter if that cage is made of gold or diamond." Crystal spoke out, catching him by surprise. *** "My goal is to only ruin you, even if it means me dying in the process." Crystal affirmed, crossing her arms. "And mine is to make you love me the way I do." Silas resorted, pinning her on the glass window. **** Cover is not mine. Gentle*

Silas didn't force her, knowing that it was just her being shy. He was chill at that part, at least she took initiative to get him.

But somewhere he was well aware that she doesn't love her as he does. She was just accepting reality. However, Silas was going to make sure she did fall.

Freedom was an illusion. We never choose our lives, the ruling ones do. A doll thinks she lives in the playhouse so she was the owner but in reality, both the doll and the playhouse are owned by that kid and it goes further.

Silas loaded her face with kisses as he unzipped his pants, positioning himself to enter her.

"I will try to be gentle," Silas affirmed in a loving voice, kissing her eyelids.

Crystal nodded, her eyes still closed. Realised her hands were engulfed in his neck. She pulled them back and clutched the bed sheets waiting for it to end.

Soon a sharp pain made her yelp, her eyes brimmed up with tears. Silas tried to be as tender as he could, slowly thrusting it in.

But the pain is still excruciating for a woman having her first time. It was inevitable. Silas didn't stop nor did Crystal stop him from going further. She was already aware of what was bound to happen.

Silas rubbed away her tears, cradling her till the pain was covered with pleasure. Crystal soon forgot that she even felt any pain. Snuggling off into his arms soon , tiredness engulfed her body soon.

His warm breath relaxed her body and even rhythmic movement of their body couldn't stop her from drifting into sleep.

Once everything was finished, Silas noticed that she was really quiet. He patted her head, softly calling her name.

Crystal snuggled more into his arms hearing her name like a kitten. Knowing that she fell asleep in the middle of everything. Silas carefully placed her on the pillow, and looked at her sleepy face.

She was sleeping so quietly. No more fighting back like a small little cub. His thin lips curled up into an arc, seeing her resting so tranquilly.

He stroked her cheeks with the back of his finger, pushing a few hair away from her face.

Crystal shook her head as a reaction, still drifting off into her sleep.

Silas sighed and got up from the bed, parting ways with her. He went straight to the bathroom and took a cold shower. Thinking how quick everything changed.

"What are you planning, Crystal?" He sighed, stopping the shower and coming out. He was well aware neither she loved him nor she was crazy to suddenly seduce him.

Crystal was not someone who does something without thinking. She plots every move otherwise she would not be an international chess player. Like the game chess, she plots out all moves of hers in real life.

No matter what game she was playing, it didn't matter to him as long as she was his, only his.

Silas wet a washcloth under the basin before walking back to the bedroom, where she was still asleep.

Using the wet washcloth he rubbed her body clean, and put the blanket on her. Once she was cleaned up and all, Silas turned off the lights and went onto the other side, laying beside her.

The moonlight coming from those giant french windows was still illuminating the bedroom. Soon, Crystal went closer to him still asleep and put her arm around his torso and legs on him. Her head resting on his chest.

Silas eyes gilded down at her dormant behaviour. His chest felt happy seeing that subconsciously she didn't push him away, instead coming closer to him.

He stroked her hair, and placed a kiss on her head before wrapping his arms around her petite figure,"Good night, wifey." He said he himself dozed off into sleep.

Next morning.

When Silas woke up, the bed was already empty. With sleepy eyes he sat up straight trying to search for her but she was nowhere in the room.

Soon the bathroom door was flung open, a sweet taste of rose filled the room. Soon her delicate milky-white legs came out, then she herself, wrapped in towels, her hairs enfolded in white towel, with a few fringes coming out of the corner with water dripping from them.

Her snowy face, glowing in the morning sun rays. Crystal put out a smile seeing Silas looking at her.

"Morning." She wished, walking towards the dressing room which was on the other side of the room.

The bedroom comes in between the bathroom and her dressing room. Which was the reason she had to come out like that and go directly there.

Crystal woke up from sunshine falling directly on her eyes. Silas was still deep in sleep when she woke up. Crystal found herself in his arms hugging him and her head on his chest.

She instantly woke up, remembering the past night's events. She was still naked, the area between her legs was still in pain while most of her body was covered with love bites.

Crystal jumped off from the bed and put her nightgown on before dashing into the bathroom with her wobbly legs, it felt like walking on needles but pain was nothing when her head was busy thinking what happened.

She shut the door and leaned on it. It actually happened. Everything was not a dream. She did give her first to the man she hated the most and there was no more turning back.

Even if she was prepared for it, tears still rolled down her cheeks thinking that she was no longer alive and never will be.

"I will make sure to avenge your death." She swore to herself. Her apricot eyes are more determined than ever.
