Haunting past
After reaching my house, I immediately called the Blossom store to apologize for my absence earlier. "Camila, I'm so sorry cause I couldn't come to the shop today" She chuckled and replied, "Well on that.. I was about to give you an off today" I felt relieved. "Thank you so much Camila" "No problem dear, Take care bye" with that she ended the call. I'm so happy that I could spend some time with Brie now ! But would something ever go my way, no right? Yes, you are correct and I'm dealing with it now. "Please Aunt Caesy, can she stay here for the night?" "No dear, I can't allow her" she said with a little smile on the corner of her lips. "Caesy, just allow her this time" my mum chimed in.
"Oh I was just kidding with her Delta" Aunt Caesy chuckled and turned to me as she continued, "Brie wanted to get her sissy get pranked and I helped her to achieve it!" she winked at me. I was dumbstruck and baffled as to what happened right now. When it all kicked in I said, "Oh you naughty angel!" as I lunged towards Brie and picked her up. "Leave me! Leave me sissy" she wheezed out between her laughs. "Miss, you are just seven years old which is ten years younger to me. So you get to respect me, okay missy?" I said carefully, not to spill a smile. "Yes sir! Uh, I mean ma'am!" she chuckled. "Now c'mon let's fill our tummies, baby" I said as I carried her to the dining table.
After stuffing our stomach with a whole lot of food, I messaged dad :
Q : Where are you daddy? Your sis is home along with Brie!!
D : Wow!! :( But I can't come home today dear..
Q : why? what happened?
D : Held up in work.. You sleep tight dear... will be back by noon tmw.
Q : Okay dad take care..
Brie and I went straight to bed after informing mum about dad's position. Brie fell asleep within moments and Pip too. Thinking about Remi made a whole lot of butterflies fly in my stomach but at the same time he was creeping me out. "Maybe he's shy of people around him or something" My mind prompted. But that doesn't explain about his absence through inhumanly speed. I have to confront about it to him. With that sleep evaded me and pulled me to the place, I didn't want to go.
I heard a beeping sound constantly which ruined my sleep and made my heart to beat rapidly. Opening my eyes, I found myself lying on the bed in a weird white room. Numbness filled my body when I saw an exact copy of myself standing next to the bed where I was now sitting. She waved her hand at me and that was second when I realized the heaviness of my wrists. There were two IV tubes connected to my hand and a few tubes connected me to the heart moniter. "So that's the annoying sound" I thought. "Wait!" I called out as she turned away from me but to be honest, my voice sounded hoarse. "Don't worry please," she said with knitted eyebrows. "I have to leave but don't lose hope on yourself. Fight for your life. I don't have time" she said.
"Merida" my mouth moved on it's own. "Who should I choose?" it asked her. She smiled and said, "You will know it when you see him" What the heck does she mean by this? "But" she interrupted my brain who was throwing a million questions at her. "I couldn't give him the love he deserved, at least you give him this time and please don't die" she said sadly as she stood up. "Even if you die, don't forget the warmth of his love" "How do you know for sure?" I asked her as my voice came out strained. "I'm you. My life on Earth is over but gladly yours isn't. Please make use of it and hold on to him tightly" she whispered the last word as she started to fade away. "Who is he?" I asked a little bit louder than intended cause I started panicking.
She beamed at me and said, "You will just know, when you look at his eyes as it will be filled with pure love. I missed it the first time as I misunderstood it... I love him too.. I love-" with that she vanished into thin air. The whole room was silent and it deafened me. Heck, the heart moniter too... "Am I dead?" I asked the girl who vanished a few seconds ago. "I'm definitely turning mad" my mind confirmed it's theories. The doctors came rushing to my room to do everything that would keep me awake but I was..... floating? Oh my God, yes I am floating now and my body lays down there on the bed. I'm trying my best not to freak out cause it's all a dream...
Now, I stood on the floor and saw that a jet black haired boy standing near a window as I almost freaked out cause he was glowing. He turned to me and to my surprise it was none other than Remi. "How are you here, Remi?" I asked him. He held on to my hand and said, "My love," my heart swelled with some emotion that I couldn't recognize as he referred to me as, 'His love'. I smiled to it and listened to what he said. "Please help me" his voice trembled with fear. "She's coming!" "Who?" I asked him. "Nyx!" With that, some force started pulling Remi away from me. "Please hold on to me!" he cried out.
I tried my best not to sob and held onto his hand very tightly. But the force was too strong for us and his hand started to slip away from mine. "No!!!! Please," I wailed. "Please come back!" I screamed at the direction Remi went flying...
