She Takes My Breath Away

Jace's POV

It has been one week, since the kissing incident, but every detail of our kiss is imprinted in my mind, I hate myself for uttering those stupid words to her when we arrived at the estate after her meeting, with his father's friend, but I don't have a choice, I have to stay away from her. That night I wasn't able to sleep, I had experience with women, but I never felt this way after a kiss, when in fact it was just a pretend act, why I am thinking about it until now.

After the incident, she requested Charles to be her driver, I hate myself, I wanted to stay away from her, but at the same time, I also want to be near her. I don't want her to be with Charles, that is why I am always watching them carefully. I don't want her to kiss any of her elite bodyguards except me. I know I am being selfish, but what can I do Miracle White is the epitome of perfect beauty.

I am in my own room, thinking about Miracle, when I heard knocking on my door.

"Come on in." I shouted, then Charles appeared at the door, wearing a wide smile on his face.

"What's up bro?" I asked him.

"Well, I just want to talk to you, how did you kissed Miracle, being his driver for one day, you were able to kiss her, but I have been her driver for how many days, she didn't even bother to ask me personal question, but instead she bombarb me with questions about you." Charles sits down on the edge of my bed, I am shocked and intrigued about Miracle asking questions about me.

"About me? Really?" I asked Charles, I can't hide my excitement.

"Yes! But I am just curious, she looks so cold and distant, but I can't deny how beautiful and tempting she is, she looks like a goddess, it seems she hates you, but like you at the same time." Charles said.

"Don't be confused Charles, the Heiress hates me, I am very sure about it, aren't you curious why I only lasted a day being her driver? We are assigned to drive her for one week, but she personally asked the head bodyguard to change the schedule." I said, I sighed, I miss to be close to to her.

"I guess so, but the way she kissed you back that day, was telling us a different story, I saw it with my own eyes Jace, if you didn't stop the kiss, you may have been kissing overnight." He smiled broadly, I just shake my head.

"You came here just to tell me about our lady boss?" I asked curiously.

"Yes, that is why I am here, she summoned you to come to her room, she said she has something very urgent to discuss with you."

"Are you serious right now Charles?" I asked him, unable to believe what I have heard from him.

"Of course I am, why should I lie to you bro?" Charles frowned as he asked me, I could not explain the throbbing I felt in my heart.

"You better go right now Jace, she might get angrier if you make her wait another minute." Charles said, then he gets out of my room immediately. I am wondering what the heiress wants from me at this very moment, I lazily change into jeans and white T-shirt. Then I get out of my room and walk faster in going to the magnificent living room, I am still not used to the big house, it seems it will swallow you up in its size.

I know Mr. Thomas White is a billionaire, I just never expected to be here in his own gigantic mansion that resembles a palace. I can't imagine the life of his daughter. I looked at the human size painting of Miracle White that hangs on the wall of the living room, her beautiful, perfect face makes the painting a masterpiece. I slowly ascended into the imperial staircase, while my eyes are still staring at her captivating face in the portrait. I almost tripped, that I swore under my breath.

I saw Miles and Chris on the second floor checking the area, our shift change starting today, I am assigned to start my shift at ten in the evening until six in the morning, for one week. During night time, there is one Elite bodyguard assigned to her floor, while the rest of the guards will be on the ground floors and outside the mansion patrolling the whole place 24/7, and I can't believe, why Mr. White is doing this to his daughter.

I paused in front of her bedroom, I hesitated to knock on her door, then after minutes of standing like an idiot, I knock on her door.

"Come in." I heard her angelic voice coming from inside her room. I slowly open her door and get inside, I was stunned to see the interior of her beautiful room, it smells like her, so fresh and very light to the nose, I want to get close to her and smell her. Her room is very large and spacious, the extra king-size bed is placed at the center of her room, the bed covers and pillows are all white.

"You need something from me Ms. White?" I asked, I am so reluctant, I am staring at her mesmerizing hazel green eyes, her long and thick, archly curved eye lashes make her most seductive. She is wearing a light yellow dress that fits her figure perfectly, her luscious body is so tempting, I am imagining myself to put my hands on her tiny waist and kiss her, until her lips will get swollen. She really takes my breath away, I hate myself for thinking this way towards her.

"Yes! Indeed Mr. King." She said, then she gestured me to sit on the couch.

"Is it alright that I am here in your room? I think this is inappropriate for your bodyguard to be in your bedroom." I said formally.

"I summoned you to be here Mr. King, I am your boss, so I have all the right to call you wherever and whenever I want, now please have a seat unless you are so afraid of me." She said, then my heart skipped a beat when she smiled at me genuinely, the kind of smile she gave me during the latest selection of the Elite Bodyguards. This is so bad, I don't want her to give me a sincere smile, because I don't want to fall for her.

"Okay! For the record, I am not afraid of you." I said, and I stare at her captivating eyes for a long time, I don't even blink, I want to look her fresh looks, she is more beautiful without makeup, looking at her this close makes my whole body active.

"Do you like what you see Mr. King?" I am taken aback by her question, I felt my face flushed, but I don't want her to know that I am really embarrassed, I didn't give her an answer, but instead I give her a sexy smirk.

"Are you done checking me out? Do you think I can pass as your girlfriend?" I am more shocked with her second and third question, she is direct and honest, she is looking back at me with wide eyes.

"What? I am not checking you out I am just looking at you, I have been taught by my mother to look at the person that I am talking with." I said, I tried my best to hide my reactions being near to her.

"Really? You should look me in the eyes Mr. King, not in my body, especially not in my boobs, but it is alright Jace, it is flattering, I know you are only being appreciative of my body." She said, that made me more sheepish.

"What do you want from me Ms. White?" I asked her, I am looking at her coldly to hide my true desires for her. I am trying to change the subject, because I know, I can't help myself if she continues to talk about her voluptuous body, she is really gifted for having a very strong sex appeal.

"Oh! I almost forgot the reason, why I called your presence here, I don't know how to say this, but..." She paused, I can see her face blushed.

"What? Anything you want me to carry?" I asked teasing her, I can't help myself, but look at her natural, red lips, she bites her lower lip unintentionally, it drives me crazy, she looks so beautiful and innocent.

"No! I want to ask you a favor." She said seriously.

"What kind of favor Ms. White? Is there anything you need? I am wondering if there is something in this world that you are lacking, you have it all Ms. White." I said, I wasn't able to control myself.

"You don't know me Mr. King, there are many things that money can't buy." She said, and I can see the sadness in her face, she sits in her vanity table, and she didn't talk for a long time, she only looks at me, I think she is having a good time examining my whole body.

"Don't you realize you are freaking me out?" I blurted out, I can't think of anything to say to her, just looking at her make me ache for her, especially now that she looks so lonely, I want to comfort her, but she suddenly laughs, her laughters warm my heart, she looks so sweet and perfect even if she laughs hysterically.

"Why are you laughing suddenly?" I asked confused.

"I find it so funny, that I make you afraid Mr. King, why Jace? Do I look like a ghost to you?" She asked, I shake my head.

"No! You are too beautiful and alive to look like a ghost Ms. White." I told her honestly, I can see the blush all over her face.

"I want you to tutor me Jace." She said shyly.

"Can't you hire a good tutor? I don't want to brag, but I know my scholastic records are excellent, but I think I am hired as your bodyguard not your tutor Ms. White." I said, I know I sounded sarcastic, but I don't think I can handle being so close to her, without kissing her.

"For you information Mr. King, I am an excellent student, I excel most of my subjects." She said, I can feel the irritation in her voice.

"Yes! I have heard that you are a bright student Ms. White, that is why I want to know why do you need a tutor suddenly?" I asked, I can't hide my confusions.

I stand up, I need to get out from her room or else I will go crazy. She looked up at me, and I stopped in my tracks.

"Jace, the thing is I want you to tutor me on something, I promise to compensate you personally, it is separate from my father's, consider this one as a part time job." She said softly, I let Miracle continues to explain what she really wants from me, and I am lost for words, now that she is standing so near to me. I can smell her shampoo and her original scent.

"If we do this, please don't let anyone know about it, especially my father." She said, then she turned away and get a piece of paper from her drawer, then she put it in an envelope and handed it to me. I accepted it, the moment my hand brushed her hand, I can feel the sparks that came from the friction of her touch. I don't know if she feels it too, but I can't deny my attractions to Miracle.

"Please don't open it yet Mr. King, just read and sign it in your room, if you want to do the job, you are the most suitable elite bodyguard as per my father, and for this job, I can say the same, I hope you won't turn me down. If it happens, I don't have a choice, but choose among the remaining elite bodyguards, but I just want you to know you are my first choice." She said, then she opened the massive wooden door of her bedroom door, it is an indication for me to leave, so I walked passed her without saying goodbye.

"Goodbye Jace." She said, she gives me another one of her seductive smiles, that made me smile back at her broadly. I can't wait to read what is written on the paper.
