Connection

Eri felt her body trembling as the wind blew her long black hair on the balcony of the 4th floor of the abandoned building. She stared to the ground where she decided to fall. Tears rained down her face as she prepared herself to take the leap. Her heart beat faster and faster. She closed her eyes, closed the world from her, closed her heart. She took the run and made a jump. She didn't know what she was to fall to. Her doom? Or something else?

On the ground, stood a tall and fit guy. He heard the sound of running from above the building. His dark blue eyes looked up making his face anxious. He immediately took action to catch the falling girl.

Eri opened her eyes and couldn't believe what she just saw. She felt something she hadn't felt before. A sudden rush of wind blew as Eri's hazelnut eyes locked with the guy's blue eyes.

"Are you alright, Miss? What were you doing up there? You could have died if luck didn't manifest" asked the guy, with coldness in his voice. He lifted down Eri as the girl still couldn't believe what happened.

"I-I'm okay. Thanks" replied Eri even though she wasn't thankful for the guy who saved her from death because all she want is to perish from the world.

"I have to go. Be careful next time or you'll get badly hurt or even die" Eri just looked at the guy saying this words, walking away. A sudden feeling inside her urge her to ask her saviour or her antagonist to her dream death.

"Hey! At least you could tell me your name before leaving" Eri shouted.

The guy stopped and took a quick glance of Eri before turning back again. "Zach, Ezacharei Eclipsei". A smile formed on the lady's face as she watched him walk away. Unexpectedly, unknown memories came to her mind in a flash. It was so quick that she haven't had time to analyze it before it's gone. And suddenly, her head ached bad and she passed out.

Zach felt a sudden current of electricity coming from the direction of the girl who he just met. He came back running to the abandoned building. His body was shaking and his heart went faster and faster. He found Eri lying on the grassy ground. He knew there's something strange about that girl. He knew he know her. Or maybe he knew her in a different time.

He lifted Eri and carried her to his car, planning to take her to his mansion, 30 blocks away from the abandoned building. Upon his arrival, a red-haired guy with a black suit opened the car door then greeted "Welcome back Master Ezacharei".

"Um master, who are you with? You seem to have a guest" the red-haired guy asked.

"Take her to the basement then call my darn brother back home" Zach replied as he got out of the car. The red-haired guy, his butler, nodded.

Zach went directly to his room and laid down his cozy silver bed. He gave a deep sigh from all of the happenings. He closed his eyes -planning to rest- but instead a video played on his head. A lady smiling and laughing, holding his hands as she ran with him on a grass field under the sunlight. The gentle wind blew her golden hair and light blue dress, and kissed her white skin.

When Zach opened his eyes, he didn't knew his face was wet. He got up from the bed just as a knock on the door came.

"Who the hell are you behind the door disturbing my rest time?" he shouted. "Come freakin' in! The door is open".

The door opened as a figure appeared. "Pardon me Master Ezacharei but your brother is here. He's waiting in the living room" the butler said. Zach smirked and headed out.

"In a bad mood again" a guy leaning on the wall in the hallway chuckled which made Zach madder. He clenched his fists then dashed towards the guy. He held the guy's shirt on the neck with a furious look.

"Whoaaa! Easy there bro. The hell are yah doing" the guy exclaimed.

"Get the hell out of here Reijah! Your freakin' face pisses me off!" Zach said as he got his other fist prepared to punch. The small fight was about to get bigger but a woman appeared. Her skin was dark as ebony and she was as beautiful as the sunset. Her black hair was decorated with roses. She started firing with the two guns she had in her hands.

The bullets that she shot from her gun that startled the two. Zach and Reijah dodged the bullets quickly despite the number of bullets coming at the same time.

"Stop the fuss, you'll anger uncle Alejandrei" the woman said, walking towards the two.

"Who's making a fuss now?" Zach smirked then made an exit.

"You shouldn't annoy the prince like that Reijah or we'll get killed," the woman said.

"Big sis Oliviane, you don't need to remind me of that. I just can't help it. Zach is really annoying. He's lucky that he's uncle's son. Because of that, I can't kill him" Reijah replied.

Eri woke up in complete darkness in a room . "Am I dead?" she asked herself. No light source can be found inside the room, no lights, no windows. Just an empty room with only one bed and a door. A cellar, maybe.

"If I'm not dead, where the hell am i?! What are you going to do to me?!" Eri shouted with all of her strength. She still have a migraine that she described as torture because she hates pain.

The door suddenly opened up, she thought that she was thankful at once for the light but when she thought more deeply, she hated the people who locked her in the empty room.

She immediately charged towards the figure in the other room. She was about to punch the red-haired guy on his face but a hand grabbed her hands from doing it.

"Zach?! What the hell are you doing to me? If you're going to kill me, just do it! I'm not scared!" Eri shouted.

Eri stared at Zach until he released her hands. "I forgot that time, what's your name? Lady?" Zach asked.

"Eri, Daeseerie Sapphire '' she replied. Her furious eyes met with Zach's cold eyes and locked.

"I'm sorry for getting you here without your permission but I need to ask questions" Zach said.

"Tsk! I knew it, a Sapphire eh? She's the lost princess. We can now negotiate with the wolves after that bloody war. If I and she weren't cursed, we could have stopped that war " he said to himself.

"What questions do you mean?" Eri asked with curiosity in her head.

"Just come with me in the living room" he said, turned away and left the room. Eri followed her and found some guys and a woman in the living room.

"Masters, meet Daeseerie Sapphire '' the butler introduced Eri.

"Hot..." Reijah murmured that was clear to his sister's ears who was beside him.

"I mean it's hot in here, turn on the AC" Reijah explained which made a smile on everyone's faces except the butler and Eri.

"I shall leave now, Master Ezacharei" the butler said then left the room.

"Eri, Before you passed out in the area of the abandoned building, what did you see or feel?" Zach asked.

"I saw something in my head then my head started to hurt" she replied.

"What was that something?" asked a guy in the corner with blonde hair, dark blue eyes and a cold voice almost the same as Zach.

"A guy running on a grass field with me, he had black hair and cold red eyes. But something felt different with him. I don't know what but he made me smile and laugh. Then..."

"Then what?" asked Oliviane along with Reijah.

"I really don't clearly remember it but... A guy killed us both on the snowy mountains"

Eri continued to get flooded with questions.

Eri felt interrogated after all of the questions but she didn't knew why they were asking them. Zach just suddenly left the room. Now, she's in the kitchen eating with Oliviane and Reijah.

"Um... Oliviane and Reijah, right?" she said then the other two nodded as a response. They were eating pizza and drinking orange juice.

"What was the purpose of the questions? Why did you guys asked me those?" sge asked.

"We two can't really share the information without permission. You should just ask Zach directly to Zach" Oliviane stated with a pretty big smile on her face.

"Tsk! Now Zach will get this hot girl in front of me. I wanna freakin' kill him" Reijah said to himself.

"Good eve, Lady Eri" the blonde guy entered the room and suddenly kissed Eri's hand that made her blush a little.

"You know you might anger your older brother with that, Kiel" Oliviane stated.

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing" he replied. Kiel grabbed a pizza then took a big bite. When he already finished one, he yawned and turned to Eri. "Oh! Right! I haven't been properly introduced. My name is Ezechkielrei Eclipsei. But you can call me Kiel '' he said with a wink and left the room.

"Am I suppose to stay here longer?" Eri asked Oliviane.

"Hmm, that's your choice. We already reserved you a room. You'll love it if you get to stay" she replied.

"Well, I can stay for maybe a day, days, weeks, months, years or forever. I don't even have a home now. I already left that hellish house"

"I see... That's nice. Have a nice stay"

"Um- when are you guys going to explain why I'm here? Or the rules of the house?"

"Soon, Zach will decide when along with his brother and..."

"And who?"

"Nevermind that 'and' , I mistaken spoke it"

After they finished eating, they felt tired so they headed to their rooms. Oliviane and Reijah showed Eri her room then left her to rest. The room was majestic. Red, white, silver, and gold matched perfectly. She laid down the red bed and turned off the golden lights. She closed her eyes and her mind began to roam free.

Kiel knocked on the door of his brother's bedroom, checking him out. "Hey! Bro, you alright?" he asked. He opened the door and noticed his brother on the balcony staring at the night sky. He patted his shoulders and asked again "You OK?"

"Yeah.. I just can't believe I found her again. But tomorrow is coming. The reunion will be coming. He! He will be coming" Zach said.

"I hope I won't lose my brother. You're a pain in the ass, big bro. But I'll surely miss you. Be careful for tomorrow, big bro. Always remember that I'm here. Capisce?"

"Thanks lil bro. You should getta hell outta here for I need some sleep"

"Yeah! Yeah! Blah! Blah! Blah!"

"What did you say?"

"Nothing... Nothing at all. Sleep well bro"

Kiel left the room smiling but he didn't know his brother was in despair.

"Where is your master?! I said, ``Where is your master?" a man with this very loud voice confronted Fourth in the streets.

Fourth stood still, coldly staring at the man. "I repeat! Fourth Wells, butler of the Eclipseis and the sibling of the fallen vampire 'Third', where is the Eclipseis?" the man stated.

"Who the hell are you? Why do you know me? Why do you know about the Vampire Royalties?"

"I am Alphilipe Darwolf, one of the 'Cursed Fate Trio' , I'll avenge the wolves, I'll avenge Eri, I'll kill Ezacharei!"

"No matter who the hell you are, I'm not surrendering my masters. You're not going to avenge Eri. She loves Zach, can't you accept that. Let them be!" Fourth stated as his eyes became red. Philipe smirked and transformed to a black wolf with furious green eyes, giving a loud howl.
