Chapter 45: At the Island ( 1 )

He moved closer to her and started calling. " Alyssa ! ...Aly..." He called out but there was no sign of her responding.

He put his hands together on her chest and started pressing over five times but still Alyssa didn't respond.

" Gosh ! Whatever have I done to her ? " Calcel asked himself still in panic. He couldn't believe what he did earlier and why he had to do it. Otherwise Alyssa wouldn't be in this situation now.

" Alyssa..! " He called again as tears started flowing over his cheeks but he didn't realise that he was shading a tear for her. He didn't even know how worried he was at the moment but all he wanted now was to see her gain conscious again.

Left with no other choice , Calcel looked at Alyssa's silent face that looked so cute at the moment in her slumber. He slowly bent closer to her to give her a kiss of life. When their lips met , Calcel couldn't believe it but Alyssa's lips felt sweet with his. He had never felt such a heavenly pleasure like this before. When he pulled away , He chest pressed her again and gave her another kiss and before Alyssa finally opened her eyes , She coughed out some water into Calcel's face.

" Alyssa , Can you hear me ? " Calcel asked in panic. He didn't care about anyother thing at the moment.

Alyssa slowly opened her eyes to look at Calcel . " Calc ...." Aly called in a mumble.

Calcel gave a sigh of relief and helped her get up when he immediately hugged her into his warm embrace. Everything was surprising Alyssa. She didn't understand why he seemed to care at the moment yet he really hated her. Alyssa in confusion and remembering whatever that happened , She pulled away from the embrace and looked up at him.

" Why are you crying ? " She asked after noticing Calcel's wet eyes. He was really worried about her but he also hadn't noticed. Hearing her question , Calcel rubbed off his tears from his eyes with his palm.

" Am....am..fi...fine. " He stammered looking aside to avoid her gaze.

" Where are we ? What's the time ? " Alyssa asked since it was already dark. Both looked around but being it dark , They couldn't see anything of importance.

" We have to get out of here ! " Calcel said and walked away. Alyssa tried to follow behind him while she inquired.

" Where are you going ? " Alyssa asked .

Calcel ignored her question and then started shouted. " Anyone here ? ...Hi....hi..." He was loud enough but it was of no use at the that time.

Alyssa looked at him but she didn't have anything to say. When he had calmed down , She walked to him.

" Calc...I think we landed on a different Island. " She informed.

" And that's why we need to get out of this place.." Calcel insisted on.

" But it's already late , Why don't we just find somewhere to rest from then we can look for means of leaving tomorrow morning. " Alyssa suggested.

Calcel turned to look at her with his normal cold self. " Who said that I want to stay here for the night ? " He buttered.

" Neither do I want to. But it's the only solution. " Alyssa suggested.

Calcel walked past her without a word. Alyssa looked at him in confusion and stayed still till their was some distance away from her. He then looked back at her with questioning eyes. Alyssa bit her lips as she stared at him.

" Won't you follow me ? " Calcel asked.

" Ah....of course. " Alyssa mumbled and started following him. They walked from the shore till they were in front of a thick forest. Calcel turned to look at her .

" We can't go any further. " He said.

Alyssa also noticed it. " So , What do we do now ? " She asked helplessly.

" Inside maybe more dangerous. We are going to be here for the night. " Calcel said and sat down besides one of the trees where he leaned his head and closed his eyes silently. He seemed not to care about her at all.

Alyssa looked at him sadly before she also got where to sit and also leaned on a tree. She was a little scared of being in such a place at the moment but there was no one to cry for. She looked at Calcel whose eyes were now closed and observed each feature about him that was so perfect. She then remembered the first day she met him in the elevator , The day he stole her heart and then remembered the day he saved her from the two drunkards. She also remembered the day she got married to his father and all the moments that followed till then. There is something that always confused her about Calcel and that was his weird behavior towards her and Herman. She knew he was right that she wasn't supposed to be too close to Herman being someone's wife but that was not enough for him to treat her the way he was. She knew he hated for being his step mother and then had hoped that she will ever become friends. But she was surprised he saved her anyway very many times.

Alyssa came back to reality and realised the silence between them.

" Thank you for saving me today. " She said with a soft smile still looking at his handsome face.

Calcel could hear her but he pretended as if he had heard nothing and ignored her. Alyssa thought that he had dozed off so she smiled again and mumbled.

" I know you hate me for what ever that I did , Especially getting married to your father. But I just hope that one day you will consider me as part of your family. I know I can't replace your mother but at least I have tried my best to ...be...a good wife to your father. I know it looks weird that you have a mother who is younger than you , But it's a contract marriage Afterlol. I just wish that we can be friends for that. Until I will finallyleave your house. "

Alyssa smiled again still looking Calcel whom she didn't know that he was hearing everything she was saying.

" I will leave as soon as the two months are done. " She concluded.
