Chapter 178: Get married as soon as possible.

Alyssa drove to her apartment and went to her room when she found Derrick there waiting for her.

She crossed her hands around her waist .

" What are you doing here again ? "

Derrick chuckled.

" My fiancee, I can visit you whenever I want. " He answered her.

" What is it ? " She asked.

" The week I gave you is over. Have you forgotten ? " He asked walking to her but today she was confident. She didn't flinch back.

" Forget about your videos. I am getting engaged with my boyfriend. " She told him straight forward.

Derrick chuckled. " So...You ate choosing that man over me ? " He asked.

" Yes. He is a million times better you are. " She said.

" Well..., Then I will have no other choice but to post the video. You know how it will affect your career and that so called boyfriend of yours . " Said Derrick.

" How much do want ? " Alyssa surprised him by her question.

" What ? " He asked.

" I said , How much do you want so that you delete that video ? " She made herself clear and her voice and face were stern.

" Marvis, You are wrong. All I need is you. Not the money. " He said and then looked straight at her.

" I...will post the video in three days. If you don't come to me.." He declared and walked away.

Alyssa was full of anger at the moment. She couldn't believe that this was happening to her.

She entered her apartment room and sat on the couch while she removed her shoes.

' Why is the World always unfair to me ? I was nothing and Derrick dumped me. Now I have gotten everything that i wanted. Money, fame and a man that truly loves . But this devil wants me to giveup everything for him. ...Will i ever live happily with no strings attached ? '

Alyssa asked herself innerh and then sighed.

' But I cant just sit like this. I must find something to fight this man. I must get proof that he really never loved me. '

She said to herself and went down to sleep as it was already 8pm.

When Calcel reached home that evening David asked to talk to him after dinner.

" Father , You wanted to talk to me .." He came to his study room and sat down in the parlor with him.

"Yes..." David removed his spectacles while he put the books away.

" I was very pleased that Marvis is the girl that you love. She is very good and kind. Plus that she is hardworking and that is why she has already reached where she is now in only three weeks .." David said as Calcel listened.

" I don't know the exact reason why you like her. And i will not ask why if you are not willing to tell me..."

" No Father..ask anything and i will answer you. " Calcel stopped him midway.

" Well...then tell me.." He demanded.

" The truth is that, I don't know. But there is away she managed to make me feel comfortable around her. I just found myself into her. And besides that,As you just said she is a jolly and a loving girl who has faced many challenges but regardless everything she went through she managed to push to where she is today. " Calcel said the exact answers that David was pleased to hear.

" Well...If you don't mind about it. Can you two get married as soon as possible ? " David asked astonishing him.

He first chuckled and took it for a joke.

" ..Father...you can't be serious about this ? " He said between his chuckle.

David smiled and shook his head while Calcel put himself back together.

" Calcel..I am serious about this. " He muttered with a face that showed it all.

Calcel sighed to get something to answer.

" It's just been two months since I divorced May. I can't just marry Marvis. What will people think of me ? " Calcel explained.

" I understand that. But, How about we make it a simple private wedding ? And besides that. I don't think that anyone can judge you for this. We couples ate divorced, It's already done. " David said.

" But do you think that Marvis will accept ? " Calcel asked.

" If she really loves you. She will not say no..." David answered confidently.

David knew that he had talked to Marvis about it so there was no need to worry.

" Okay Father, i will think about it. " He promised.

When Alyssa woke up that morning the only thing that was on her mind was how to get rid of Derrick.

She made her breakfast and while she was eating something came into her mind.

' I am sure my father knew something between me and Derrick. I should visit him. '

She thought and then went to her room to change.

In the same morning, Calcel went for prayers with his father and after that when he was back home he thought about what David had told him to do.

Alyssa arrived at Marvis' House I'm disguise. She had veiled and wore sun glasses to hide from people who could have recognized her.

She went to the door and made a knock but this was not her lucky day because the person who opened the door was Matt.

" Who are you ? " Matt asked rudely.

Alyssa kept it cool and removed her glasses and the veil for Matt to get a clear vow.

Matt's eyes widened in shock. She was seeing Marvis right before her.

"..You...you...you..." she stammered but Alyssa pushed her away angrily and entered the house.

" Father ? Father its me ..." She started walking around each and ever room as she called when Matt came and grabbed her wrist. She turned her around to face her and immediately slapped her across her right cheek.

" Matt ? " Alyssa called manacingly after the slap.

" How dare you enter my house without my permission and start moving around ? " Matt questioned rudely.

" This is my father's house ! " Alyssa yelled back.

Matt let out an evil laughter and said. " Hey...have you forgotten that your father sent you away ? "

Alyssa ignored her and continued calling.
