well that was very expected and Mr Smith knew everything but still it wasn't enough to convince him.

" well me too dad I need to attend the interim management of the new branch of our department abroad which will be held after eleven days from now and I will be there for few months, I have already sent my approval letter dad so I can't walk away from this" Emilia said thoughtful sounding very reasonable yet not enough to convince the man.

Actually the more they try to convince him the more restless and suspicious of them he became.. why suddenly they become so desperate to leave something was not right at all! Mr Smith thought inwardly, this made him even more determined to get them married sooner.

" Which country will you be going to?" he asked the question nonchalantly not specify who he directed the question to

" Country Z " they both said surprised by their similar destination.

" My new branch will be opening at country Z" Emilia said more like making it clear that she did not just come up with the destination.

" My business is established at country Z where I grew up " Leon said looking at her to let her know that he didn't just blurted out

it was surprising to hear that they were going to the same place but good news for the man in front of them and just then he had come up with another idea

" Great! now it all settled you guys are getting married after five days and the day after tomorrow you will register your marriage and your honeymoon you can have it in country Z or whatever place you want I totally don't mind it... however I won't take no for an answer the wedding will take place and it final " Mr Smith said firmly and by saying that he got up and started making few calls clearly making arrangements for wedding and just then they heard him say.

" You have everything ready like I told you .. okay change the schedule the wedding will take place after five days"Mr Smith said looking at their sullen face smirking victoriously.

Those kids thought they could surpass him he was way more scheming than they were.

The news of their marriage was like a wild fire spreading fast all over the country as the daughter of a big business man was getting married

Days flew very fast than they thought and today, they had already registered their marriage and by law they were already husband and wife looking at their marriage certificate they both couldn't believe what just happened, they looked at each nervously but no one said anything.

Mr Smith proudly went to hug both of them happily as he personally assist them to the car,

Immediately he asked the driver to take them home, however when the car accelerated it was not towards the Smith Mansion

and when it came to a break it was in front of unfamiliar place, but they didn't seem to notice as both of them were not in the mood for anything they just stare at him quietly, who was grinning happily before getting out of the car and so did they.

After they got out they were welcomed by one luxurious house it was not that big but one of the kind giving a romantic vibe which sadly didn't exist in them, yet to them the house was luxurious just like any good houses, seeing their groomy expression Mr Smith said sincerely.

" I know all of this maybe all of a sudden to you both but I believe that you will not let me down.. l'm sorry for being so hard on you guys but what can I do? sometimes men of my age get all worried.. what will happen if I suddenly die? you know I have always been very worried but now come to think of it I think I can finally leave in peace".Mr Smith said happily as he held their hands

" Dad!!" They both said in unison clearly not liking what he was saying, now they became worried about him not knowing the man was purposely playing victim.

" Please never say that again!" Emilia said sadly as she hug her father tightly as if he would disappear any moment.

" There dear you don't want your dear husband to curse my sleep" Mr Smith said teasingly as he looked at his daughter who now let go of him looking at him in confusion what did he mean?.

" Piece of advice my dear we men are quite possessive ..I would definitely mind my woman's attention to any man despite their age or status" Mr Smith said with a small smile looking at his puzzled daughter, she must be thinking about what he meant, he pat her head gently before looking at Leon who seem quiet than usual,

taking Leonard's hands he said

" You see my boy I have never been that good father to my daughter but I did try my best to raise her as much as I could..you see it not quite easy to do so all by myself as you know Emily lost her mother at such a young age and it has been so hard for her to take it,.. I have tried everything I could but she wouldn't even show her face to me but for some reason ever since you came into our lives I could see her dark life become bright again and after fifteen years my daughter finally showed her face to me and I know you are the reason for her sudden positive changes ...can't a father not be a bit selfish for his daughter? can't I be a bit shameless to get you to be with my daughter without having the world to criticize me?" Mr Smith said emotionally making his daughter shed tears.

" Dad!!"she called him softly as her tears drop down along her cheeks Mr Smith looked at his daughter shaking his head gently meant for her not to cry.

"Then even if the world criticize me for it I shall still shamelessly ask you to take care of my daughter, ...my boy you know that I trust you right? then please take care of my daughter on my behalf" Mr Smith said seriously yet emotional talking to him as man to man

" Rest assured father I shall always take care of Emilia, this is my promise to you as a man" Leonard said giving his words
