Twenty years Old Xuan Ren the Son of Immortal has Fallen in the battle of the 'Sacred-Purge' saving the cultivation world from the Demonic infiltration. Xuan Ren opened his eyes inside the Coffin only to be assaulted by a sudden pain inside his head. A bunch of unknown memories flashed inside his memory as if someone has opened his memory line and planted these new memories.

Xuan Ryu: Xuan Ryu is a 16-Year-old Hulk size kid with ordinary black hair and black eyes, He looks like a giant 5 feet 9-inch pig with zero talent in magic, random kids around his age were around level -3 few geniuses were in level-4 but Xuan Ryu was struck in level-1.
He was born in a normal family leading a normal life but when he turned 10 his parents died in a Beast attack protecting him and his sister Akane. Ryu got a wound on his head damaging his brain cells which affected his thinking ability, he didn't become dumb but more as a genius fell to mediocre. Akane was 15 years old she was one year younger than Ryu, she was not his sister by blood but his stepsister, Xuan Ryu's mother died giving birth to him so his father remarried. Akane was the daughter of his 2nd mother who remarried his father after her divorce with her first husband.
After his parent's death, there was no news about Akane's biological father so both of them stayed together.
Akane was a beautiful girl with blue hair and blue eyes, she was one of the top 10 beauties in the academy admired by everyone she was also a genius at level-4 a step away from level-5. Even though she was a beauty and a genius she treaded Xuan Ryu as her real brother and protect him.
Xuan Ryu was bullied and hated by everyone just because he was living with Akane, added to his cowardice and lack of talent in magic he committed suicide.
With the sudden assault of these memories, Xuan Ren understood the current situation, but he didn't try to make any guess because his original soul was broken and will disperse at any moment.
After thinking for a moment Xuan Ren started to observe the new body, just as he was studying the new body he saw the dispersing soul of Xuan Ryu, he got an idea and started absorbing the dispersing soul into his broken soul. After some time he completely absorbed the soul of Xuan Ryu.
His broken soul became complete not only that but because he absorbed Xuan Ryu's soul, his soul and body got synced perfectly leaving no potential threats in the future, Xuan Ren was assaulted by the new memories before so it didn't affect him much after merging with the soul and got assaulted again for the 2nd time thus the new Xuan Ren Ryu was born.
Like this Xuan Ryu nor Xuan Ren died, both of their souls merged perfectly giving birth to Xuan Ren Ryu.
As for the personality, he retained both personalities.

Xuan Ren Ryu broke open the coffin lid giving a sudden fright to everyone who visited to send him off.
Akane rushed forward, hugged him and cried saying ''brother you are alive? I thought you left me too.''
''Sorry for worrying you, I thought I was dead too after someone pushed me into the river'' said Xuan Ren Ryu. a.k.a Ryu.
Some of the people who attended to his funeral asked him ''pushed you into the river? it's not suicide?''
Ryu didn't answer but looked dumbly at the person who asked the question. that person felt embarrassed.
There are a lot of people who attended the funeral like his relatives, who were after his properties like the house,... rest of them were students, teachers, principle,... most of them were here for Akane.
