CHAPTER 2: TOWER OF HEAVEN 2

3RD PERSON POV

"Come on Erza. We need to hurry." A blue-haired bot said to a red-haired girl as on their head is bread with soup that they managed to steal from the room that contains the slave's food as they avoid one guard who turns left walking through a hallway as both quickly enter their cage that has others around their age with an old man as their guardian who will heal them if they suffer injuries.

"Here, Sho some food for you." Jellal is a tad as Erza also gives it to him as Sho who is sick munch the fold they have gives toward them as the old man Rob stares at them in pity.

"At a young age, these kids already suffer. If only I can use my magic." He clenches his fist as he hears footsteps from the outside that is closing toward their cage.

"Hurry. Lay on the ground and sleep. " The oldest in the cage tell the children as they all heed to his words as they all closed their eyes as the guard stop on their cage with him then stare at their figures for a few minutes and then walk away.

"Show, are you feeling better?" Erza asks the little boy in a caring tone.

"Yeah, I am feeling better. Thank Big Sis. You too Jellal." Sho said to them as they all then fell asleep except a certain blue-haired boy as he is wondering when he and the others will escape.

"My plan must succeed and then we will be free of this place." He thought in his head as he closes his eyes.

"Psst." Someone made a sound.

"Simon. Go to sleep dude." Millianna who heard that whisper said.

"W-what do you mean?" Simon woke up after being called by her.

"You just whisper right?" The girl asks him as he shakes his head.

"It was not me," Simon told him.

"Then it must be Wally," Simon said but then he look at the sleeping boy beside him.

"Hey, stop pretending to sleep." Simon nudges Wally who wakes up feeling annoyed being woken up by him.

"What is it, Simon? Do you want me to accompany you to pee?" Wally asks him.

"Do not play dumb Wally. You made a sound right moment ago right?" Simon asks the boy who looks at him as a fool.

"You are dreaming, right? I just woke up when you nudge me." Wally said with a high tone as the irritation get into him.

That caused all the occupants in the cage to work up.

"What's wrong Wally, Sho?" Erza asks as she is rubbing her eyes.

"I heard someone made a sound just now." Shop said.

"Up here." The voice said.

"See. It is not me saying that." Wally said as Jellal who look at the 3 just sighed.

"Just sleep back. You know we will get punished if we woke up late." He said but the old man Rob who heard what they all said feel confused.

"Hmm. I am not going senile right? Neither are they." The old man thought in his head.

"For Magnolia sake, look up." The voice sounded but a with high and annoyed tone as Rob who heard that lookup with the others followed as then they see a boy who has white hair and blue eyes with black attire clothing on his body is ticking on the upper wall.

"Aarghhh! A ghost!" Sho shouted in the fight as the children back away behind old man Rob with Jellal just staring at the supposed ghost with Erza picking up a rock in case this host decide to attack them.

"What? I am not a ghost." The white-haired boy landed in front of them with him pat his chest.

"Yo! The name is Kaito Haimura! The future strongest Mage in Magnolia. Nice to meet you." Kaito introduced himself to them as they all just stares at him.

"Geez. No reply. Tough crowd." Kaito said as he sees they all had shackles on their hand and legs as he snapped his finger they get freed from the shackles which surprised them as Rob rubbed his head.

"Okay. Whether you guys want to believe me or not, I am going to tell you tonight all the slaves will be freed by me." Kaito tells them.

"How are you going to do that? Just because you can use magic does not mean you are an invincible boy?" Rob ask Kaito who just grin with confidence.

"With this. Explosion Magic:Active!" Another snap, an explosion can be heard from other sides of the towers that made the surrounding shake as it created a commotion.

"Now, do you guys believe me?" Kaito asks but then 4 guards appear outside.

"Oi. Who are you kid?" One guard asked as the others prepared magic spells to attack him as Kaito just smirk.

"Just a passing by mage that wants to rescue these unfortunate people." He replied.

"Attack him. We can add another slave to this tower." The guard said as the others released their magic spells.

"Wind Bullet X2"

"Fireball!"

"Wind Dome." Some violent wind blows away all those attacks as then Kaito motions his hand forward as the wind dome blast forward blasting the cage and guards backwards.

"Tch. He is a mage." The guard said as the magic circle appear from behind him.

"Drain Chain." Purple chains sprout toward our hero who just makes a barrier that blocks the chain as he turns his head.

Transportation magic then appears in front of Erza and her friends.

"Get into the circle. I am going to transport you to the boat that I have prepared. Old man. You by far are the one who can use magic. Pour your mana on the boat and it will move. Just go on without me." Kaito said as he slam his hand.

"Time to get wreck, you bastard." Fire enveloped his mouth.

"Fire Devil Rage!" A fire blast headed toward all the guards with chains get blasted aside as the guard get hit by the attack as they all roll the floor with burn marks on their bodies.

Kaito looks behind him only to see the group are stunned at what he has just done which make him annoyed.

"Do not just gawk. Get into the magic circle already." Kaito said as he sees a troop of guards already approach her as they all unleashed rock spikes toward him.

"Ice Devil Rage!" A purple torrent of ice froze the entire hallway.

"D-damn it. Y-you think you can get away from this tower?" One guard ask me as I did not bother to answer this mob question as I proceed to destroy the cage that hold slaves and tell them to get into the transportation magic circle.

My transportation magic is limited to certain distances since I only practised this magic once in a while.

If I have mastered this magic I can easily send all the slaves with marking magic and Poof, they will arrive in Magnolia or somewhere other than this tower.

"You dare defy the resurrection of Zeref. We shall punish you." 3 black rob men said as a water wave flooded the hallway as I freeze the attack but I click my tongue seeing now I have to destroy it.

"Tch. Fire Make: Cannon!" A red magic circle appears from my right hand as a cannon appears from it as I adjust it on my shoulder as I aim at the obstacles in front of me.

And then I shot it 5 times as I see one of the 3 rob guys has his face burn mark with the others is kneeling.

But the trace of my attack can be seen on their robe that still has an ember trail on them as I just released another 5 shots as they all conjure a showed spell that defends them from my shot.

I pump more Ethearno into my attack as it got recharged and I shot it.

6 volleyball size of fire orbs headed to them continuously as the whole crack with another set of shots destroyed as they all get shot backwards.

Dispersing my cannon I activated my Speed Magic that makes me move very fast as both my hand conjures a Wind Spell that is dubbed Wind Spear and the other is are Lightning Spear that defeated a group of cultists.

"There he is. Eradicate him for Zeref-sama resurrection." One guy said as he is the largest person I met on this tower with the man behind him cast various fire spells.

"Water Dome!" I protect myself with that spell.

"Lighting Bolt!" A group of cultists behind me cast a spell at the same time as I fired Water Javelin toward that attack to neutralise it.

"Tch. These guys. One group is fire magic and the other is lightning magic. Heh." I just act like I am in a pinch with the Big Guy smirk as he thinks je has cornered me.

"Hahaha. Just give up. You are cornered, boy." He said to me as I just stare at him acting like I did not give up even though I am going to lose.

Hehehe. Time to act like a mob and then strike them like a dragon. Or in the case of a devil.

I hope Erza's group has gotten away from this island.

"Where is he?" Rob wondered as he and the other people who get captured is on the boat with the guards around them are acting like he did not see them which made them feels weird.

Rob meanwhile already know that Kaito probably use one of his magic to manipulate the guards to not pay attention to the slaves on the boat.

"That boy, what is he? His magic capacity is large than all of us slaves combines." He thought in his head.

One boat already depart with only the boat he board did not depart as the other kids want Kaito to board with them.

"W-where is he?" Sho asked as he and the others keep looking for Kaito to appear before them.

All of them are impatient since they are now a step closer to being freed from the place that only makes them suffer.

"I am going to find him," Jellal said as he run back into the tower.

"Me too." Erza followed as Rob is not quick enough to stop them.

"Wait. Oh no. I hope both of them are okay." Rob mutters as he curses his weak body as he knows he needs it ready to make the boat move.

"Hmmm. That Kaito. He uses magic to free us. If I only learn magic then I can free us earlier." Jella thought on his head as he sees how the guards at the dock ignore him.

"Jellal. Wait." Erza said as she try her best to follow her friend.

"Erza, why do you follow me?" He asks the red-haired girl.

"We can cover more ground if both of us want to find Kaito," Erza replied as Jellal wanted her to stay on the boat.

"Fine. But make sure when you are in trouble you run as fast as you can back to the boat." He said to Erza who nod her head as they separate with each other to find Kaito.

"Be safe Jellal!" Erza shouted at him.

"You too!" Jellal replied at her.

But never did Jellal know a woman now is casting dark magic to possess him.

The woman is currently clicking her tongue seeing the slaves that got captured have been freed with only a few being on the boat.

"Hmm. Maybe I should cancel the spell on their head. " The woman is Ultear Milkovich who now is angry seeing her plan almost got fouled by one boy who managed to pass through the security.

She approaches one guard as she cancels the magic finds on the guard with the other guards.

"Huh? What happens?" One guard said.

"Guards! Apprehend them right now! I am going inside to capture the troublesome kid who caused this situation on us." Ultear then goes inside with the guards approaching the boat that has Rob and the other kids who now are flinching in fear seeing most of the guards are about to capture them.

Rob meanwhile conflicts as he can just take the occupants in this boat to flee but that will leave Jella, Erza and Kaito here.

"Surrender to us boy and we will make sure your punishment is not severe." One guard threatens as they slowly approach the boat.
