In the year 2022, in the world of Gottland, the Purge eradicated half of the world's civilization and marked the extinction point of the God-vessels and Void. Humans, the only sole survivors, occupied half of the land and rebuilt their civilization.
After a century, a new danger arises, coming from the skies above, out worldly, gigantic beings sent from an unknown realm and nicknamed "Kaiju" began to wreak havoc among humanity. Their mysterious powers can turn any human being into infected ones when they got splashed by the Kaiju's blood, turning them into fearsome, horrible, and mindless creatures and will attack any living being within their range of sight.
To counter this danger, the council of humanity or the zero-one council created a new military order known as the RadiaNt to combat the enormous foes with the help of newfangled military training and advanced technology.
Virgil, a third-year college student and a son of an ex-radiant soldier, had mysteriously gained superhuman strength after getting caught up by a Kaiju-related incident in which he ended up barely surviving the attack.
Eventually, he decides to join the RadiaNt not just to make use of his granted abilities but to uncover the mysteries of the Kaiju and the origin of his very own superhuman powers as well.
