Nightmare

His eyelids flutter open,beads of sweat was formed on his face, his shirt was drenched in sweat. He sat up straight from his bed and get out of the bed to get some water.

It has been ten years since the incident but he still gets nightmare every time he closes his eye. The memory was still vivid in his head. His family gruesome murder is a memory that has been haunting him since he was seven.

It was a rainy night,just after dinner and he was telling his parent how her day went in school when their house was raided by them. "Go inside kai and hide in the basement let's mom and dad handle this" said his mom. He had been reluctant to go and instead choose to behind the chair.

He had a clear view of the situation from his angle. Six heavily armed men entered the house led by a burly man, he has a long red hair and scar running down his cheek. "It's been a long time Everard" he said.

Everard look at the man before sighing deeply "ten years is not a long time for your type is it?. "No it's not but it's for yours" he replied. "We've been ordered to kill you and your family" he said with a smug smile on his face.

" You know I won't be going down without a fight" Everard said looking without a change in his expression at the word of the man. " Yeah we came prepared for you" he said Everard knew this day would come sooner or later he just didn't expect it to be today.

He looked into the man's eye as if he want to say something and after few seconds of pondering he smiles at the man and said "I'll like to use my last quota to request something from you, please no matter the result can you spare my son". "I will leave him for them he said" And that's is the last thing he heard as they release a gas that make him slept off.
