This fight had no doubt been the most dangerous and exhausting any of them has ever faced and it was a miracle no one died. After lying on the ground and panting heavily for a few minutes, Alex sat up and got into a meditative pose. He used his [Mana Regeneration] skill to absorb the ambient shadow mana in the air. It took him over an hour to replenish his mana to full capacity and most of that mana went to repairing his armour and healing his injury riddled body. It took him another forty minutes to reach peak physical shape again and he wished he could say the same for his brain that was riddled with mental exhaustion.
