Chapter 1Carriage to Aslena Academy

The sun rose and light beams from the sun aimed for Nessia's closed, sleeping eyes. The alarm clock sitting beside her rang as annoyingly as it could to wake Nessia Aglorin and let her see the new day's sunshine.

''Ugh... I was having a good dream!'' Nessia stretched her arms and turned off the alarm clock. She headed to the washroom to do her daily routine and later went downstairs for breakfast. Mrs. Aglorin was serving breakfast with a bright smile on her face, ''Nessia, eat your breakfast quickly! The carriage will arrive very soon.''

The carriage? The carriage! Nessia Aglorin now remembered what will be happening today. She will be staying at Aslena Academy, so it was the last time that Nessia could spend time in her house... reading novels, doodling on any paper she could find... She hoped that the academy would allow her to do those in her dorms too.

Aslena Academy was named after one of the 3 warriors who were the greatest defenders of the Queen of Elements. They defeated the Corruption Queen and everything went peaceful... Um, not for long, what a cliche... Shockingly... during the Grand Dinner, the 3 warriors were poisoned and there was no cure for it.

There was knocking on the door and a stern voice called out, ''Nessia Aglorin!'' Nessia quickly finished her last piece of pancake and went out, ''Goodbye, mother!'' ''Until we meet again sometime, my daughter!'' Mrs. Aglorin waved gratefully to her and later after Nessia sat inside an almost full carriage the man slapped the horses with a rope and the horses neighed in pain and galloped to the academy.
