Sinopse

Aiden Hoshino was the last survivor of an apocalyptic world consumed by demons, monsters, and chaos. Humanity had fallen, and despite gaining power through an enigmatic System that mimicked the structure of a video game, Aiden failed to stop the Cataclysm that wiped out Earth. Now, at the end of his world, facing the Demon Lord Morcath, Aiden’s life comes to a tragic close. But just as death embraces him, the System offers a final, impossible choice: “Reset the world.” Waking up five years before the Cataclysm, Aiden has been granted a second chance to change the future and save humanity—but with severe limitations. The System has regressed him to Level 1, wiping out his hard-earned abilities, and now, the timeline is different. Unforeseen enemies, new variables, and hidden quests loom in the shadows. As he struggles to rebuild his strength, Aiden soon realizes he is not the only one who has glimpsed the future. Other people, including old friends and rivals, may have access to their own System, and some have their own agendas. Faced with a countdown to disaster, Aiden must gather allies, uncover the truth behind the System, and fight against fate itself. But as the lines between friend and foe blur, and the world shifts in unexpected ways, Aiden starts to wonder if even this second chance is enough to stop the apocalypse.

Chapter 1Chapter 1: Reborn at the End of the World

The world was ending.

Ash fell from the sky like snow, covering the scorched earth in a thick, suffocating blanket. Cities that once stood tall were reduced to rubble, their towering skyscrapers twisted and broken like the bones of some ancient, fallen giant. The ground beneath Aiden Hoshino's feet cracked and shifted, fiery rivers of molten lava cutting through what remained of civilization.

Aiden stood at the edge of a crumbling cliff, sword in hand, his body drenched in blood and sweat. His arms trembled, his breath coming in ragged gasps. The demon lord, Morcath, loomed before him, towering over the dying world with a cruel, satisfied grin stretched across his monstrous face.

"Do you truly think you can stand against fate, Aiden?" Morcath's voice was deep, reverberating through the air like thunder. His fiery eyes bore into Aiden, mocking him with every word. "You were always too weak. Always too late."

Aiden tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword, Astra, the only weapon capable of cutting through the demon lord's dark magic. His body screamed in protest, every muscle aching from the countless battles he had fought just to reach this point. But it wasn't enough. He was alone. The last human left in a world that had already fallen to ruin.

The corpses of his comrades lay scattered around him. Friends he had fought alongside for years. People who had entrusted him with their lives. And now, they were gone, all because he had failed. Again.

"Damn it!" Aiden cursed, his voice hoarse. He glared at Morcath, the rage boiling inside him, mixing with the crushing despair of his impending defeat. "I can still—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Morcath lunged. A massive, clawed hand struck like lightning, slamming into Aiden's chest. The impact sent him flying backward, the air knocked from his lungs as he crashed into the ground with a sickening crack.

Aiden's vision blurred, the world around him dimming. His sword slipped from his grasp, clattering to the ground out of reach. He tried to move, to push himself up, but his body refused to listen. He was done.

This is how it ends, isn't it? he thought bitterly. The last human, slain by a demon. How pathetic.

As his vision faded to black, a soft, mechanical chime echoed in his mind. A system notification—a sound he hadn't heard in days. His fading consciousness latched onto it, desperate for anything that might give him one last chance.

[SYSTEM REBOOT INITIATED.]

What? Aiden's eyes widened in shock. The System? Now?

Another chime followed, this one louder, more distinct.

[Congratulations, User Aiden Hoshino. You have been selected for the World-Reset Protocol.]

World-Reset… Protocol?

He barely had time to process the words before everything went black.

The sound of birdsong woke him.

Aiden's eyes snapped open, his heart pounding in his chest. He blinked, confused, as his gaze darted around the room. A… room? He was lying in a bed. Not on the burning ground of the apocalypse, but in a small, cluttered dorm room. His dorm room.

What the hell is this?

Aiden shot up, the bedsheets falling off of him as he stumbled out of bed. His hand automatically reached for the bedside table, gripping his phone. He glanced at the screen, his pulse quickening when he saw the date displayed in bold letters.

September 5, 2024.

He stared at the date, his mind racing. It wasn't possible. September 5th… that was five years ago. Five years before the Cataclysm.

I'm… back? The thought crashed over him, impossible but undeniable. His body felt different, not weak from exhaustion like in his last moments, but healthy, alive. He rushed to the mirror hanging on the wall and stared at his reflection. The face staring back at him was young, not the scarred, hardened warrior he had become over years of fighting demons and monsters.

I'm back. Before it all started.

Aiden's head spun as he tried to make sense of it. Then, another chime sounded, clearer now, sharp in the quiet of the room. His System Interface blinked into existence, a translucent screen only he could see, just like before.

[World-Reset Protocol Activated.]

Objective: Prevent the Collapse of Humanity.

Mission One: Survive the Awakening – Time Limit: 7 Days.

Special Condition: Only You Can See the System Until the Awakening.

His breath hitched. Seven days. He had seven days before the first portal opened, unleashing the monsters that would wipe out civilization. Seven days before the Cataclysm that would start the end of the world.

Aiden stumbled back, collapsing into the chair by his desk. The System was real. This was real.

He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. He had been given a second chance. A chance to change everything. This time, he could stop the Cataclysm before it happened. He could save his friends, save humanity. But… would it be the same? Could he follow the same path he did in the last timeline?

No, he thought. It won't be the same. This time, I'll win.

But there was one thing gnawing at the back of his mind. The System had brought him back, but something felt… different. He could feel it, lurking in the edges of his awareness. A limit he hadn't had before.

[User Regressed to Level 1: All Previous Skills Sealed Until Unlocked.]

The words appeared in front of him like a punch to the gut. Level 1. His powers, his skills, everything he had gained over the years was gone. He was starting from scratch. Again.

"Damn it," Aiden muttered under his breath. "Of course, it wouldn't be that easy."

Still, he wasn't completely helpless. He remembered where the key dungeons and monster lairs would appear. He knew which abilities to unlock, which paths to avoid. This time, he had the advantage of knowledge.

His phone buzzed in his hand, shaking him from his thoughts. He glanced down at the screen. A name flashed across it.

Mira.

Aiden's heart skipped a beat. Mira Akiyama, his childhood friend. One of the few survivors in the last timeline. She had been by his side through every battle, every loss. But this time, she didn't know. She didn't know about the monsters, the System, or the war they were about to fight.

He answered the call, his voice tight. "Mira?"

Her voice on the other end was shaky, filled with a fear he hadn't heard in years. "Aiden… something's wrong. I… I had a dream. No, a nightmare. There were monsters, and everything was burning. It felt so real. Am I going crazy?"

Aiden's blood ran cold. Mira had never had visions before. Not in the last timeline. Why was she seeing them now?

"You're not crazy," Aiden whispered, his grip tightening on the phone. "Listen to me, Mira. We need to meet. There's something I need to tell you."

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
