Within the underworld, Sirzechs was currently occupying the seat that served as his office chair. The expression on his face was not one of contentment at the moment, especially when he thought about what had just taken place.

When he travelled to the human world to see Altair, he accidentally left a small magic circle in his home. This magic circle functioned just like a bug, and it was left behind when he returned.

But even he did not anticipate that it would be found in such a straightforward manner, and the most surprising part was that Altair appears to have been aware of this flaw from the very beginning.

Sirzechs initially found it hard to believe that Altair had been able to identify his bug; however, after giving it some thought, he came to the conclusion that it was only natural. This was especially true when he recalled the two girls who were always by Altair's side.

"Those two girls, in the event that what he said is accurate..."

Sirzechs recalled a comment that Altair made to them while they were learning about this world that Sirzechs had overheard.

Sirzechs was taken aback by the information that Altair had stated that they did not belong to this world. Sirzechs was aware that there were certain people working behind the scenes who were frantically seeking for this other planet, and that the objective of many of these people was to find this other world and invade it. Sirzechs was aware that this information had stunned him.

Sirzechs is aware that if information such as this were to become public knowledge in the supernatural realm, then Altair would be completely defenceless. But Sirzechs has no intention of letting this information escape into the supernatural realm. He is well aware that the devils would be the ones to suffer the most as a result of this, so he does not want to do so.

''Aside from that... That information regarding Sacred Gear being able to evolve into Longinus, even I did not know it, and I doubt that Azazel does either...''

Because Sirzechs knew so little or nearly nothing about this subject related to Sacred Gear, he was even more surprised when he was told that a human could know so much about it. Grayfia made a remark as she observed the condition in which Sirzechs was found, and she didn't find it odd, especially when she recalled all that had occurred in that human's home. Grayfia thought that Sirzechs' condition wasn't abnormal. First, he had two bodyguards that had almost the same power as Sirzechs, which was astounding considering that Sirzechs is a force in this world and there are not many people who are able to defeat him. Secondly, he had a weapon that had about the same power as Sirzechs.

In addition, the human in question is in possession of a particularly terrifying piece of Sacred Gear for devils; after all, mastering Sacred Weapons was an important aspect that devils needed to focus on in order to avoid suffering losses.

"This kid... he's more dangerous than we imagined," the adults said. It was quite rare for her husband to be serious like that, Sirzechs added in a solemn manner, causing Grayfia's eyes to widen as she listened to her husband's remarks. Grayfia's reaction was appropriate given the context.

"We need to be careful with him," as the phrase goes. After that, Sirzechs let out one more sigh before beginning to compile the papers for the two females as Altair had requested him to do.

It was Sirzechs' intention to fulfil this paperwork as quickly as possible, both to demonstrate his generosity towards the human and so that he could concentrate more fully on the devil's job.

At this very moment, Artoria was making her way out of Altair's room. She had followed Jeanne to this location in an attempt to soothe the frightened little child, but this proved to be an incredibly challenging endeavour. Nevertheless, she was successful in spite of the difficulty of the situation.

She let out a sigh as she wiped the perspiration that was flowing down her forehead. When she turned around, she saw Jeanne laying on the bed, and the sight was a little off-putting because Jeanne was breathing heavily, and on top of that, she was not wearing any clothes.

Artoria had successfully used the ideal method to put someone at ease.

Artoria pushed these thoughts out of her mind and started walking towards the kitchen. It had been a day since she had gone to try to calm down Jeanne, so she figured it was about time she go there again. And at this particular moment, she was quite hungry.

As she entered the kitchen, she saw that there was a note sitting on the table, and being the inquisitive young woman that she was, she took up the note and started reading it.

"I'm sorry that I didn't let you know that I was leaving, but I really can't afford to be late for school." Despite the fact that I am robust, I am still a student, and as such, I am unable to miss class. And with that, I'll see you in a few hours, so go ahead and have as much fun as you want before I get there.

"There is plenty of food in the refrigerator, signed, Your Master," was written on the note.

After reading the note, Artoria felt a cold sweat start to form on her forehead.

At the Kuoh school, it was the middle of the lunch period, and in one particular location, or more specifically on the terrace of the school, a person could be seen lying on their back beneath the floor of the terrace and taking pleasure in the wind breeze.

That individual was unmistakably Altair.

At this same moment, he was thinking back on something that had occurred in the past.
