Hero of Battles

"Ugh.."

Stretching his limbs, Cao Cao rolled off his bed to prepare for a new day.

After their talk yesterday, his teacher, Sun Wukong mentioned that his old friends will visit. He doesn't know the purpose but it must be important.

Looking at the rising sun outside through his window. Cao Cao stood up and fixed himself before going outside to train

*WOOSH!*

A lone figure was wielding his spear masterfully. Every stab, every twirl, it seems that the user itself has resonated with his weapon.

The sun shining behind him as he performed this dance with his spear makes it even more beautiful.

*WOOSH!*

A final stab in the air creating a distortion in the wind was the final strike for the figure's training.

Wiping the sweat on his forehead, Cao Cao looked at the sky and basked in the sun for a moment.

'This feels… nice.'

While praising the sun, he didn't notice a person walking behind him

"That was a good spearmanship, is that self taught?"

Hearing an applause behind him, Cao Cao summoned his spear and readied a stance.

"Relax, I mean no harm. I just got mesmerized by your spearmanship so I came here." The person raised his hands as if surrendering.

The hero descendant looked at the person in front of him. He's a young boy wearing clothes reminiscing a lotus.

Although he's raising his hand, Cao Cao couldn't see any flaw in his stance. It was as if he was ready for action.

"I see…." Cao Cao lowered his weapon. This is Mount Huaguo, he doubts that anyone could just invade this.

Maybe this is his master's guest?

"Although I don't really think that my spearmanship is mesmerizing but thank you." The hero descendant thanked politely.

"Hmm, it is indeed mesmerizing but it's also lacking. It can still grow." The young boy was back to his casual self and touched his chin.

"Hey! How about I give you an example? If you don't mind that is." He offered to the Longinus user.

Cao Cao blinked but didn't reject the offer. Nodding, he once again entered a stance with his spear.

The young boy saw this and nodded as well, summoning a spear.

Cao Cao's eyes widened after seeing the spear. He can tell that the spear isn't some half ass craft but it kind of reminds him of…

"Divine Weapon…"

Seeing the hero descendant's expression, the young boy smirked and also entered his stance.

"Come on, disciple of Sun Wukong, show me the power of True Longinus." The young boy's aura changed.

Compared to his relaxed expression earlier, the one he wore now was an expression full of fighting intent.

Without any warning, the young boy immediately dashed forward towards him.

*CLANK!*

The two spears collided and sent a gust of air around them.

'Fuck!' Cao Cao felt his arms like it's going to break. This person in front of him is stronger than Bikou.

Far stronger.

"Is that all Cao Mengde's descendant?" Contrary to his expression, the young boy wore a more casual one, with a little smirk plaster on his face.

Cao Cao gritted his teeth seeing it and forcefully pushed back his opponent.

The young boy saw this and jumped back before dashing forward again, not allowing Cao Cao to have a breather.

'Again?!' The opponent in front of him possess overwhelming strength and speed. Everytime their weapons met, he felt his arms going numb.

If this goes on, his arms would probably break before his body.

*WOOSH!*

Forcefully parrying the opponent's spear, Cao Cao stabbed the tip of his own Longinus to the ground and released a beam of light destroying the ground they were standing on.

*BOOM!*

The explosion sent both of them flying. The young boy gracefully landed and looked at his opponent.

"Impressive, you realize that with my speed, running away is hard, so instead, you disengage yourself by destroying the ground we are fighting on." The young boy nodded in appreciation. It's good that the hero descendant in front of him is keen on using his brain.

Cao Cao on the other hand was panting, the overwhelming physical prowess of his opponent forced him to go all out from the start. He can predict his movements but with the young boy's speed, his predictions were useless.

He prepared his stance ready for round two. He admits that the person in front of him is superior to him in all aspects. He can even match his weapon!

Seeing Cao Cao reading again his stance, the young boy raised his eyebrow and recalled his spear.

"That's enough, I already got what I want." He returned to his casual stance, not caring if Cao Cao would continue his attack.

"Shishishishishi! You would go as far as to bully a kid?" The laughing voice of the Monkey King entered their ears.

"As if! I was just testing your disciple." The young boy scoffed on the Monkey King's words.

"Testing? Nezha, My disciple looks like he died from your attacks." Sun Wukong pointed at Cao Cao's pale face.

The Hero Hescendant's eyes widened. This is Nezha? The Hero of Battles!?

He isn't exaggerating, the power behind his attacks felt like he'd been hit by three trucks!

"Meh, who cares? We all need that struggle one way or another, and besides, it's not like he gained nothing from it." Nezha shrugged and pointed at the now destroyed battlefield.

"You could've been more gentle." A sneering voice made himself known.

Cao Cao turned his head and saw a bearded old monk with a necklace made of skulls around his neck accompanied by an overweight old man with a pig's head.

Despite their odd appearance, he felt the same aura that his master had from them.

'A Buddha..' Cao Cao sucked a breath.

"You finally arrived, Kappa. I thought your back had finally made you immobile." Sun Wukong said to the old monk with a snicker.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm a Water Hermit, you old monkey?!" The monk growled.

"Now now Sha, don't get worked up." The overweight pig calmed his companion down.

"I am calm, Zhu Bajie." The monk called Sha, replied with a twitching eye.

"Shishishishishi." The Monkey King's laughter can be heard.

"You..!"

"Okay, let's get over that. Wukong's disciple here is waiting." Nezha clapped his hands and gathered their attention.

Sha murmured for a second and looked at the hero descendant, "So you're the descendant of the Hero of Chaos? I'm the first Generation Sha Wujing, a Water Hermit." The old monk, Sha Wujing introduced himself.

"I'm Zhu Bajie." The overweight pig headed person introduced himself.

"Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing…. You're the companions of Sun Wukong in Journey to the West." Cao Cao exclaimed.

"Yep, good times." Zhu Bajie laughed.

Looking at the Buddhas around him, Cao Cao couldn't help but be baffled. What's with this? Do they have that much time in their belt?

"As much as I want to talk about the old days, we are not here for that." The Monkey King blew his pipe.

"Indeed, we have more important things to do," Nezha turned to Cao Cao and said, "Congratulations young man, Sun Wukong isn't wrong in taking you in." he nodded.

'What the fuck?'
