Abandoned by his parents, Kalle struggled to support himself and his sister by working full-time after dropping out of college. When mysterious portals manifested across the Earth, unleashing fantastical monsters, Kalle found himself thrown into a dangerous situation as he had to keep himself and his sister safe. Not only from monsters that came out of the dungeons but also from people who got drunk from the power that they got from these dungeons. Fortunately, Kalle didn’t have to fight alone. An ancient god, one that the other gods feared, chose him as his successor and Kalle was given his power. The power to conquer dungeons and make them his. From goblins with wooden clubs to fire-breathing dragons, they would all be under Kalle’s command as he conquered more dungeons. But as he conquered the dungeons, Kalle began questioning the true origin of these enigmatic existences. Were they really a mere coincidence, or was there a greater cosmic force at play?

Chapter 1Prologue

"The world might end, but I will live."

A man stood above a silver dragon's head. The dragon looked down on every creature standing against its master.

The man waved his right hand and dozens of blue portals appeared out of thin air on his right side.

"Chaos might reign, but I will not bend."

The silver dragon roared, releasing a wave of mana that could kill someone just by being close enough to its presence.

The man then waved his left hand and created another dozens of blue portals on his left.

The high-rise buildings and the concrete jungle were no more. Only ruins and dilapidated structures could be found as far as the eyes could see.

Other than the man's voice and the dragon's roar, no sound or voice could be heard as tension filled up the ground where the man stood.

The man stared at the people standing on the other side. The people that raised their weapons toward him.

The puppets of the so-called gods that gave humanity 'a chance to survive'.

He stood alone with his dragon while those puppets banded together. Standing side by side with other puppets and raised their weapons against the man.

"People kneeled to Gods, but I'll stand stall."

The man clapped once, and this time, even more blue portals appeared in the sky above his head.

The puppets of the gods stared at all the blue portals that now surrounded the man on all sides.

Hundreds of them opened and these puppets knew that these portals were aimed towards them.

They clutched their weapons tighter, staring with disbelief towards the one human that was responsible for it all.

"People feared The End… And they should be…"

"As I am The End!"

Opening his arms wide, monsters started coming out of the blue portals.

Mythical beings that could erase mountains with ease, monsters that could raze a country in minutes, and an army that could rule worlds.

Hundreds of thousands of them came out of the portal as they followed their master's command, charging head first onto the puppets of the gods.
