Li Zhenwu felt utterly bored.

He sensed that during this Chunin Exam, there weren't any formidable opponents at all.

He was merely preparing to go through the motions and get this Chunin Exam over with.

The first test was conducted indoors.

As the proctor, a Jōnin handed out test papers containing some fairly difficult questions. Most of the participants were diligently working on their papers, while the other half was trying to use underhanded tactics to pass the exam.

During this process, some successfully managed to deceive the proctors, while others were caught cheating and disqualified.

So, what did Li Zhenwu do?

He didn't bother trying to complete the test seriously.

After all, he had graduated from the Ninja Academy early, skimming through many subjects, and the current test required a solid foundation of ninja knowledge, which he simply did not possess.

Therefore, Li Zhenwu decided to target a ninja sitting nearby who had been gossiping about him. This ninja was currently working hard on the test, exuding confidence, and occupied a seat just one space away from Li Zhenwu.

As the exam approached its conclusion, Li Zhenwu noticed that the gossiping ninja was almost finished. He glanced at the proctor on the stage, and when the proctor wasn't looking, Li Zhenwu suddenly vanished from his spot!

In the next moment, Li Zhenwu returned quietly to his seat, pretending to focus on his own exam paper.

Meanwhile, the ninja who had been so confident and was about to submit his completed paper was stunned to discover that the paper he had nearly filled out had turned into a blank sheet.

"What... Who used a ninjutsu to switch my paper?"

Using his incredible speed, Li Zhenwu swapped his blank paper with a filled-out one, which surprisingly hadn't been signed.

With a grin, he wrote his name on the paper and submitted it.

The first round of the exam wasn't too difficult; over half of the ninjas passed. After the proctor announced that many participants had succeeded, they moved on to the next phase of the exam.

"In this next round, each group will receive either a 'Heaven' or 'Earth' scroll. You must traverse the Forest of Death and reach the designated location within five days. Holding one of these scrolls means you have passed," announced the proctor overseeing this round as he began distributing the scrolls to the ninjas.

Most groups were composed of three ninjas, but Li Zhenwu stood out unexpectedly.
