F rank Dungeon, The wolves!

Looking through what he got from completing the quest, Simon thought about opening all the systems tabs at once!

Thinking if it was possible to open more than one tab at the same time, Simon thought just that!

Simon looked in excitement, It seems I can craft some things now, but most importantly is the stat points! I have two, what should I level up?

I don't seem to be able to raise my HP or MP! So I guess they can only be used to increase the Body, Magic, and soul...

Taking his time to think, this isn't a game so it's a much harder decision. From what he knew about the world, magic is OP...but, he needs to survive first to use it! I can't just hyper-invest in magic cause I will die easily. I have to balance things out.

Yep! Simon made his decision, for a starter at least he will invest in his Body so he will have enough HP and strength to fight, next he will focus on magic, the soul didn't make any sense to him at the time so he decided to ignore it!

Simon put his entire 2 stat points into Body, His stat increased from 10+1 to 12+1... Simon looked in distress, his HP didn't increase, it stayed at 10...

Holp up, hold up! What's the meaning of this. he thought as he was sitting on a bench in his empty hometown. his face tensed up, This is bad...I mainly wanted more HP, what I'm going to do now?

NO no, worrying about will fix nothing, there might be another way to increase it, for now at least I can deal more damage.

Simon held his short sword in his hand and looked at it, a status screen appeared.

Simon looked at [0~6] and screamed internally, there is nothing he hates more than RNG, for he always had bad luck. I bet my life I will be getting a lot of 0s

This wasn't the time for this, Simon stood up and he took the E rank dungeon key from his inventory, The key appeared with a whoosh sound.

Sweating like he never did before, Simon was nervous. From what he knew, dungeons appear in the world randomly, the difficulty is also random. Usually, they are filled with monsters, traps, and death! Even while entering with huge parties the death toll is around 10%~50%

Even if they were filled with treasures, going Solo was suicide. Simon isn't intending to die yet...but the system is saying it's a rank F dungeon.

This is risky, water lay inside I will not be happy to face it! Simon clenched his fist, tightly holding his sword. What lies ahead? The uncertainty is making him uneasy, reluctant to even try, he looked in his system for a save button but found nothing. I really hope it has Autosave otherwise It might turn ugly was his only thought, he was starting to see the system as a game more than an ability he has.

BAM! He kicked the ground to stop his legs from shaking, with determination he used the key to open the air, he did it instinctively, he felt that the key must be used that way and he tried, The dragon, after all, said that their emotions will guide him. He took that as follows your gut feeling and you will be Okay. If this train of thought was right or wrong it's something that only time will reveal!

A bright light emitted from the key as if it was the dawn of a new world, a white rectangle appeared in front of Simon.

Using all his courage, Simon walked into the dungeon.

The inside looked weird, A long street that weirdly resembled his hometown, Simin could it's not the same place as the sky was red, The air was warm, filled with the smell of beasts.

Long empty, street. The lights are broken, some even tilting. Moss grows on the houses' walls, rusted cars are everywhere. Simon gripped his sword tightly.

AWoooooooooooooo! The wolves showed as they emerged from every nook and cranny, angry, frenzied.

With just one look, he managed to see a glimpse of the monster's status.

"This isn't going to be easy, isn't it?" Simon said counting the wolves around him, 10 not 15 at least.

Remembering the damage his sword could deal, he thought worst-case four-hit to take one down, best case two.

Awoooo! A wolf howled as he leaped, Simon intended to be an Esper to protect his hometown for a long time, he definitely didn't skimp on martial training!

Holding his sword facing forward, the wolf had directly jumped into the blade piercing itself, HP 15/15 ==> 7/15. The wolf's HP dropped significantly, A good hit Simon thought. Quickly pulling the sword back and stabbing again, he missed as the wolf was dropping down.

Following it with another strike, he managed to hit the wolf, HP 7/15 ==> 1/15. It survived!! No, I won't let you! A single kick was enough to finish the job.

Simon got distracted by the rewards popping for a split second, this was enough for the wolves to gang upon him. With a single bite, one latched to his leg and started dragging (HP 10/10==>8/10). Others there leaped aiming for the neck, Simon wast going down easily, with one slash he sliced one of the wolves, it wasn't enough so he followed with another strike.

Another wolf bite his left hand, The pain surged through Simon's whole body, Almost forcing him to cry. Clenching his teeth, It took a whole three stabs to kill the wolf latched on his hand (HP 8/10==>5/10).

By that time another has latched onto his other leg dropping Simon down (HP 5/10==>2/10).

"You bastards!!!!!!!!" Simon screamed as maniacally stabbed the wolves on his legs

The level up screen distracted Simon, this is the second time he made the same mistake and it cost him what was left of his HP, (HP 2/10==>0/10)
