DRAGON BALL: Through Blood and Dirt.

In the snow swept forest that neared a small village washed in the blood and corpses of it's denizens, lay a boy of no more than eleven years old. the child, much as he was at that moment was nothing extraordinary. A plain but slightly above average face with short dark brown hair and a pale complexion that was common to the people of this region. He wore white trousers, jumper and hoody with a black under shirt. His clothes were covered in blood as it looked like the boy had just been gunned down while fleeing.

And as dead as the child looked he was in fact, not. Atleast not at this time he wasn't, but if you were to have been watching his body a few moments ago you would have noticed a small green bean appearing and then disappearing, the wounds on his body starting to close and heard a sharp intake of air as a sheet of paper landed in the boys hand and was instinctively held.

Around half an hour later the boy began to stir, his eyes flickered open revealing two intense green flecked steel gray orbs that took his slightly above average face up to a whole new level. The boy groaned as he pushed himself up and started reading the note in his hand before his eyes gleamed with excitement and a little worry.

Kai let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, the situation he had found himself in was an extraordinary one. and he needed a few minutes to recollect and work through the memories he had gotten from his body, plus the knowledge he had of the timeline and prioritize his actions to the best of his benefit. The current year is 748 December 19. Which was roughly ten months before the cannon starts. Kai scratched his head. Did the Red Ribbon Army even exist yet?

It must have.

Because General Blue, who had been staying at the Tower of Muscle, had been stirred up by the festive atmosphere and noise. and had chosen to come and flex his men's military might, resulting in the slaughter of Kai's village.

Kai wanted to take revenge but he was in the body of a young boy and did not have the strength yet. he would have to train and unlock his ki first.

This gave Kai around twenty-three months to get strong enough to defeat General Blue before he was killed by mercenary Tao.

A goal he had no doubt he could accomplish.

but first, Kai needed to bury the corpses of his fellow villagemen and lay them to rest properly.

As Kai walked back the village to carry out this heavy task the visions of the past owners memories flashed through his mind. Kai tried to steady his emotions but tears still fell from his eyes unbidden. They were not just tears for this bodies memories but also for those of the life he had just lost... Yes, he was now alive in the world he dreamed about in his youth. but that did not take away from the fact that he'd had a loving family and already missed them dearly.

Kai reached the village and looked on at carnage.

The villages population was small, only twenty-three people lived here. but these were all people that he knew.

People that he'd cared about and had cared for him in return.

He quickly traced back the path in his mind and arrived at his house, a small round pink building. the door was ajar and the thick smell of iron filled his nose. Kai walked forward gently pushing the door open he was met with the sight of his body's mother layed out in a puddle of blood on the floor. her hair tied loosely in a single bundle that now stuck messily to her back. Kai took a deep breath a prayed silently for the women before stepping back outside and going to a small room that was attached to house and took out a shovel. Kai then started to dig a hole next to the house.

He dug and dug, never stopping. once he finished one hole he would move on to the next. Kai had no real recollection of his actions during this time. but when he became cognitive again Kai found himself standing in front of twenty-two grave markers. he only barely had the strength to make it into is house before slumping over onto his bed and passing out.
