With renewed focus No.2 hurried back into the nightmare she was invoking by scouring The Betrayer's memories. 

She needed to hurry now else with how reckless she knew No.5 to be, she would lose her only opportunity to finally free herself from Quinn and go to Xavier. 

No.2 closed her eyes and was immediately transported back in the forbidden past. A time where absolute power was not enough to conquer. This was evident in the scene unfolding before her.

"How else were we suppose to fight it!? We can't see shit and I for one rather not die without putting up a fight!"
