Mysterious Seed, Hammer Fairy

Finally through the hell week of school thesis presentation on Monday, the post-test on Tuesday, the Dance performance on Wednesday, and periodical exams on Thursday and Friday.

I rested for a while and then started writing this chapter, did you miss me my dear Xenodians?

"That's great Shuang'er that your martial spirit evolved!"

Wei Meirong smiled happily while clapping.

"Not only that, I don't know if it's because of evolution but my martial spirit told me that it can still evolve two more times"

Hearing this, Wei Meirong became even happier that her daughter's martial spirit can still evolve.

But Xu Jingguo on the side has a shocked expression on his face.

If Xu Shuang's martial spirit can evolve two more times doesn't that mean when it is fully evolved, her martial spirit can be categorized as a god-level martial spirit?

Xu Jingguo was worried but thinking that the seed haven't done anything bad to his daughter it should not be harmful.

He rubbed Xu Shuang's head and said.

"I'll check the clan records later and see if there is something similar to your condition."

"For now we can live in a house owned by the clan in Heaven Dou City and you can start gaining combat experience by fighting at the Great Spirit Arena"

"Of course, while participating in fights you must use a codename and wear a big cloak that covers all of your body and a mask that hides your face."

"Also I will enroll you in Heaven Dou Academy to let you participate in the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament to broaden your view and enhance your abilities."

At night, the crescent moon bathed the world with its beauty.

In a huge roman colosseum, huge cheers can be heard from the audience watching the fights between spirit masters.

There are currently two men fighting in the ring both with three spirit rings one white and two yellow.

The crowd was cheering when the two clashed with each side being cheered on by a portion of the audience.

After a few more clashes one of the men got the advantage and defeated the other causing one part of the stadium to cheer while another part cursed.

The ones that cheered are obviously the ones that put a bet on the winner while the ones that put a bet on the loser cursed.

But all of this has nothing to do with Xu Shuang who was currently registering at the register.

Xu Shuang put 10 gold coins on the counter and said.

"I want to register as a fighter."

The man at the counter took the gold coins and then took out a small crystal ball to measure spirit levels.

Xu Shuang touched the crystal and inputted her spirit power causing the crystal to shine and show the number 24.

The man then took back the crystal and asked.

"Name?"

Xu Shuang already thought about the name she will use and answered.

"Hammer Fairy."

Hammer Fairy, chose this name because of the characteristics of her marital spirit is a hammer and Tinkerton line fairy typing.

The man didn't ask about the name as there were weirder names he have registered before.

After a few minutes, the man took out an iron badge engraved with 'Hammer Fairy' on the front and handed it to her.

This is the Spirit Fighter Badge use to prove your identity as a fighter.

There are 8 different levels of this badge with various benefits the higher the rank.

The ranks arrange from lowest to highest are Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold, Amethyst, Sapphire, Ruby, and Diamond.

The way to increase one's ranking is through an unconventional ranking system.

Once one starts at rank iron open registration, they will need to gain 100 points to advance to the next ranking of copper. They can do so by defeating another iron-ranked opponent and they will gain 1 point upon victory, the loser of that fight will also lose 1 point.

Once they reach 100 points, they will be promoted to copper rank and every victory/defeat will yield a change of 10 points until they reach 1,000 points to be promoted to silver rank. Where the points gained and the amount necessary for promotion increase by 1 order of magnitude again with every rank.

The system also has a streak system. For every 5 consecutive wins/losses, the number of points gained/lost will increase by another order of magnitude compared to their respective rank.

"Would you like to register for a fight right away?" The man asked.

Xu Shuang nodded and said Yes.
