Chapter 57: Buying potions

Lucius carefully read the notifications flashing in his retina, he missed even a single one, afraid that he would get scammed.

"I will buy them, give me 5 of them each. I also need some other options such as a strength potion and Stamina potion. Do you have them? If you do, then show me some" Lucius said to the recipient.

The moment, he said, the attitude of the recipient took a 360-degree turn. He smiled at him and told him.

"Wait a minute, I will go and fetch the potion" The recipient replied as he went back to the shelf.

A few minutes later, the recipient returned with more than a dozen potions in his hand.

The mana and healing potion that he demanded was with him. He looked at the new two potions, then he asked if he could hold them. The recipient agreed. Lucius looked at the description of the potion.

Lucius was satisfied with the description of the potion.

"How much for each?" Lucius asked the recipient.

"300 for stamina potion and 400 for Strength Potion" The recipient exclaimed.

"Give me 10 stamina potions and 4 strength potions" Lucius exclaimed, his voice carrying seriousness.

The recipient nodded and went to get the required potion. A minute or two later, he returned with a large box, Lucius didn't see any potions in his hand.

"Where are my potions?" Lucius asked, his voice carrying seriousness.

"It's inside this box, I will keep all the potions in this box. We will be giving you this box for free since it's your first purchase" The recipient replied.

Lucius nodded his head as he watched the recipient keep the potions inside. A few moments later, he was done.

Then he extended his hand towards him.

"Your total cost is 9950 gold coins, please hand me over the money," The recipient said to Lucius.

Lucius nodded his head and took out 10 diamond coins. Then he handed the 10 diamond coins to the recipient. After receiving the 10 diamond coins, the person at the recipient handed him the box.

"Thanks for purchasing our potions from the Heavenly Potion house. We hope to see you again, if you have any complaints regarding our products then please let us know about it on your next visit" The recipient said to him as he handed him the box.

Lucius just nodded and opened the box. Then he counted how many potions there were, making sure that they had given all the potions that he paid for.

Lucius nodded his head in satisfaction after he made sure that all the potions that he had were available.

"Thanks for your service, I will be heading out now," Lucius said to him as he got out of the line.

Lucius walked towards the exit of the buildings again he got out of the line. As Lucius walked, he realized how big and heavy the box was. It would be a pain to use the potion effectively in a battle with this box.

"When I get home, I should think of another way to store the box," Lucius thought to himself as he exited the building.

After he exited the building, Lucius began to make his way back home. After a few minutes of walking later, Lucius arrived at his home. He knocked on the door and the gate was opened by his Mom.

His Mom signaled him to come inside which he did. He had a small chat with his mom before he started to head towards his room.

His Mom didn't ask what was inside the box probably because she wanted to give him some privacy.

A minute or two later, Lucius opened the gate and slowly entered the room. He kept the box of potions on the top of his bed and put his sword on the table.

He sat down on his bed and then he fell in deep thought.

"Taking out the potion from this box in the middle of battle will be very inconvenient, it could also become the reason behind my death since even a single second matters in battle.

I should try to think of a more effective way to store them" Lucius muttered under his breath as he pondered a better way to store them.

After a few minutes of thinking later, Lucius got an idea that just worked.

"Can I store the potion individually in my inventory? Come to think of it, I never tried to put any items in my inventory. Let's try it" Lucius muttered under his breath.

Lucius took out some potions from the box and kept it on the floor. He thought about keeping the potions in his inventory, at that moment. In total, a total of 10 were lying on the ground.

A notification flashed in his retina just a second later.

Lucius subconsciously said yes without wasting a single second. Just after he said yes, the potions began to dissipate into countless small fragments. A notification flashed in his retina at the same time which caused his eyes to shine like stars in the sky.

Lucius quickly opened up the inventory and saw that the potions were indeed present in one of the slots of his inventory.

"It takes roughly 3 seconds to take them out of an item from the inventory which is much better than carrying this box. I will keep all my potions in my inventory" Lucius exclaimed, as he made his final decision.

Lucius took out all the potions in the box and placed them on the ground. Then, he kept it in his inventory. He also kept the box in his inventory.

He walked towards his bed and collapsed on it to rest.

"I am completely prepared to go to the dungeon, I will just have to tell Mom and Dad that I might not return for a long time.

I will tell them tomorrow" Lucius muttered under his breath.

He fell asleep shortly after.
