Chapter 6: Adventurer

"I'll be going then."

"I hope you'll enjoy your stay," Elisabeth answered with a charming smile.

I took the key from the table and went to the highest floor. This Inn is huge as it has 7 floors with 16 rooms on each floor.

I asked her if where her parents are and she replied that they are working in the castle as elite guards. However, they don't want to witness Lisbeth follow their path and decided to educate her to become an Inn manager while teaching her self-defense to protect herself.

"They are good parents like mine."

It's understandable, Lisbeth is a beautiful woman and sometimes beauty can be luck or a curse.

I arrived at my respected room and opened the door.

"It's quite spacious..."

The room has expensive-looking furniture with a bathroom. Most Inns I visited don't have one, and about eating, Lisbeth said we can dine on the first floor or eat outside.

"Let's eat in the room for now. Everyone get ready, I'm about to prepare the food."

I still have enough food with various types of monsters the will last me for 5 years from the Unknown world system settle me. With the Divine Chef Title, I can cook just by using my Divine Power.

"I still enjoy cooking using my hands though, I should buy a property and purchase kitchen utensils shortly."

I can even transfer my house from the mountains to the property I'll own in the future but for now, I need wealth and apply as an adventurer tomorrow.

With the distributing of food and feeding time done, we decided to end the day.

It's still dawn but I'm excited to apply as an adventurer and raise my fame from them on. I have many ways to become famous but fighting monsters have more impact.

If I have free time, I can pretend as a doctor in this world and heal inhabitants for free. To be honest, I don't know why but simply thinking about healing inhabitants for free made me feel excited...

"Good morning, Lisbeth."

"Good morning sir Alex..."

I arrived on the first floor and greeted Lisbeth, she smiled and greeted me back but the blush on her face did not escape from me.

I sat on the chair near the counter.

"You are early today, do you have a job in the kingdom?" She asked.

"Nah. I'll apply as an adventurer today," I answered.

"Adventurer huh. I always wanted to be one but my parents don't want me to fight." Lisbeth replied with a sad look. "But I know they are doing this for my own sake." In a breathe, a smile formed on her pretty face.

"I have a suggestion for you but not now. I still have things to do." It's a lie if I don't get attracted to Lisbeth. Is this because of my Divine Power sensing something inside her? Or my lonely being living a hundred years with no partner.

"Then I will wait for that suggestion of yours."

"I'll be going then, I'll see you later."

"I wonder what level Alex is. Will he be alright fighting? Ahh... Never judge a book by its cover Lisbeth, he even has powerful creatures around him."

Elisabeth thought and mumbled those words out loud.

"It seems like our beautiful Inn manager is worried to someone."

An adventurer laughed from the entrance while looking at Lisbeth. This man is Richard, he was hired by Lisbeth's parents to guard the Inn alongside Lisbeth.

"Shut up uncle..." Lisbeth answered, shaking her head with a smile.

"If you are worried about him then don't. I have a fair share of my experience meeting powerful people Lisbeth and in a single look at that man, all I can clarify is he ain't simple." Richard acknowledged Alex with a serious look.

"If uncle said so then I believe you."

Richard nodded his head, but then, he wasn't done and muttered words that only he can hear. "If we compare him to the king, the king will like to be an ant while facing a world tree..."

Meanwhile, our dear protagonist walked with his majestic appearance on the street. Even though it's dawn, people were already working and doing their job.

"It's the mysterious prince... I wonder where he is going."

"Judging from his path, I think that he will be going to the Adventurers Guild."

"Shhh... Let him be or that creatures he owned might eat you."

Alex finally arrives in front of a huge building. It's bigger than the Inn he is living in. Fortunately, the entrance is huge, allowing Masa, Kohaku, and Aki to enter with no problems.

It's like an organized office with a lot of papers sticking on the walls. Judging by the columns, they separated the harder missions than the simplest.

"Hi there... May I ask where we can apply as adventurer?"

Alex walked towards a group of 6 people with 3 men and 3 women. They all look attractive and wore different types of equipment.

Noticing Alex, the girl who was near our dear protagonist faced him and in a period she was in a daze. She then shook her head cutely and answered.

"Ahh... Y-yes. You can apply there."

"Thank you." Alex slightly lowered his head and went to the receptionist counter.

"Is he rumored, mysterious prince?"

"Yep? Look at those creatures around him."

"Nah, I think he only relies on his creatures and lets them do the work. Most pretty boys I met only know how to woo women."

Kohaku heard the group Alex asked and halted at the man who spoke badly at her owner.

"Remember what I told you Kohaku. It's better to prove than to argue." Alex patted Kohaku.

"You too Masa, stop glaring at him or he might faint." Alex chuckled and ruffled Masa's furry head.

Alex was about to approach the receptionist's table but someone ran at the entrance while shouting.

"Any healers here?! Please help!!! I'm willing to pay, please heal my brother!"

A man carrying someone at his back with a hurried breath screamed, asking for help because of his seriously injured brother.

"Let me see him."

At this moment, our protagonist halted and turned back to help the dying man. This will be the first step for his fame to ascend in a day inside the Luduris Kingdom.
