"What are you doing?!" A loud shriek broke through the slightly chilly and windy night.

Xi Ying Yue, a 23 year-old genius military scientist specifying in weaponry in country B had come to her boyfriend's penthouse to give him a surprise and at the same to take care of him. He told her that he was sick and could not meet her for her birthday today. She was in City S when she received the message yesterday for a conducting a research while her boyfriend was in City F, where they reside. She flew back to City F to give him a surprise of her news that she's approved to stay in City F instead of transferring due to her success in making a new weapon and she was worried about him as well.

Who would have thought that the one who would be surprised was her?! She knew her boyfriend's penthouse code and right after she entered the house, she heard moaning and panting sounds from the room upstairs.

Shocked, disbelief and sadness were written all over her face.

'Okay maybe his brother came over and brought a girl here'. Xi Ying Yue tried to reason with herself. Her boyfriend's brother brought girls at times when her boyfriend isn't home. But who was she kidding? He clearly said that he was sick. But her mind was not working right now and she was in a mess. She could not even make that simple deduction.

As she walked through the house, she saw male and female clothing everywhere. One red stiletto was near the door and the other was near the table in the hallway. A tie and male blazer was seen on the sofa along with a red dress.

Wait a minute! That is her boyfriend's tie she gave on his birthday. No!!

Xi Ying Yue walked fast and as quiet as she could to her boyfriend's room upstairs. The room door was slightly ajar and when she finally braced herself and peeked through it, her heart broke into million pieces. Her boyfriend was naked on the bed fucking his secretary. The couple did not even notice that she was there. Then, Xi Ying Yue suddenly let out a shriek that broke through the night startling the couple.

"What are you doing?!"

"Su Zihao, how dare you cheat on me?!" Xi Ying Yue's voice was heard once again.

The shocked couple on the bed immediately tried to cover themselves with the bed sheet. Su Zihao then tried to explain "Yue'er what are you doing here? I can explain all of this" He tried to grab her hand but she avoided it.

Xi Ying Yue was sad, really sad. But she did not shed any tears.

"I came to take care of you. Apparently, you are 'well taken care of' that you healthy enough to exercise huh? Ouh how dumb of me. Here I was worrying about you. Thank you for this birthday present. I shall appreciate it. From now on, there is nothing between us anymore. And to you his dearest secretary, be careful that he won't cheat on you the way he cheated on me with another bitch like you. Sayonara!"

Xi Ying Yue then left the penthouse without looking back. She heard Su Zihao calling her but she did not care. It is over. Everything is over.

When she got into her car, she drove home as fast as she could. It suddenly rained heavily and that accompanied her sorrow. After arriving at her penthouse at Heights Residency, she took out her wine and drank it straight from the bottle. She loved red wines. It was her favorite. Xi Ying Yue could feel that she was getting tipsy. But she still could not cry. She was too sad but she could not let it out. Finally, she went to a white grand piano with her bottle of red wine and she sat down. Taking a deep breath, she started playing it. A singing accompanied it after that.

She loved this song. It was a song she listened to and played when she was studying in America a few years ago. She did not expect that she would play and sing this wholeheartedly today.

After the song ended, tears were streaming down her face. Then soft sobs could be heard. Gradually, her shoulders started trembling and she wailed as loud as she could. The rain outside was getting heavier along with her cry.

'Why? What is wrong with me? Why do I have to get cheated on? I am all alone now. I am tired. I wanna go far, far away from here. I am tired'

Xi Ying Yue was born in a prestigious military lineage family in Country B. Her family has been in military tracing back from her ancestors. Her Xi family was well respected throughout the whole country and she was a socialite too. She was the only child and lost her parents when she was 3 years old in a mission. Her mother was a military doctor and her father was a military colonel. Her grandfather, Xi Bolin then took her in despite her uncle wanting to adopt her. Unfortunately, her grandfather who was a general of the army was a busy man and she grew up alone. Her grandmother passed away when she was 10 years old.He was a doting grandfather but due to his busy schedule, she did not see him much. When she went overseas to study in a private school then the academy, she did not see her grandfather at all. They only called each other sometimes when he was not busy.

After she came back to Country B when she was 20 after completing her study, she began her military training and thus, started working as a military scientist for Country B. Unfortunately, her grandfather fell ill 5 months later and he passed away when she was 21 on March. She kept herself busy to keep herself from thinking about her grandfather's death too much.

On June that year, during a charity event, she met Su Zihao an entrepreneur. He was the CEO of Su Corporations and she was captured by his gentle nature. They talked and went for dates and eventually, they got together. But who knew that he was a wolf behind that gentle smile?!

Xi Ying Yue woke up with a splitting headache the next morning. Checking her phone, she had 40 missed calls and 25 messages from Su Zihao.

After showering, she then booked a flight ticket to Country M. She needed a break and luckily, she was given a 2 weeks long break for her birthday and success in creating the new weapon along with her team. She heard that country M has beautiful islands and she would love to see it.

Arriving at the airport, she went straight to the first class lounge. When she turn to her right, there she caught a glimpse of Su Zihao.

'Fuck! I don't want to see that guy here!' Xi Ying Yue then tried to hide her face by using her book.

'Why does it look like he is searching for someone? Maybe one of his scandals', she thought.

Her tears started forming on the bottom of her eyes and tried to not let it fall. 15 minutes later, her flight was announced and she entered the airplane as fast she could after her ticket check. She sat down and saw Su Zihao entering the cabin. She looked outside her window and closed her eyes.

The flight took off 15 minutes later.

She fell asleep and an hour later she woke up and received refreshments from the stewardess. Unfortunately, it was then that Su Zihao saw her. She saw him trying to move to her and she hastily called after a stewardess to let her know that a male bothering her and she felt unsafe. She then pointed to Su Zihao. The stewardess immediately went to Su Zihao to try to warn him that he was making Xi Ying Yue feels uncomfortable. He had no choice but to sit back down.

Everything was calm until a few hours later, the plane started shaking and warning sound was heard. Everyone fell into panic mode and people started praying, crying and shouting. And the last thing she remember was a panic looking Su Zihao. Then, the world turned dark.....
