Prologue

Somewhere in the place of Threa….

(Kin’s POV)

“You really need to do this Kin. I have no choice too because this is what your destiny says. Five of you.” I look at her with a blank face. How many times do I have to complain for her to stop talking about this nonsense? She’s really running the mood of my breakfast. How annoying!

“Mom, here we go again? Do we really need to talk about this all day?” She just gave me a small smile. I cursed at the back of my mind and just came back in eating my breakfast because I know where this conversation will head if I’ll continue complaining.

“One day you’ll realize that you really need to go there. You really need to find your destined girl who will protect you.” I didn’t pay attention to every single word she said because she’s reminding me that every single day.

“I gotta go.” This is already breaking my nerves. She’s always talking about a girl in the parallel world that will protect me from anyone. Sometimes I’m thinking if my Mom is already crazy. What’s the purpose of being the descendant of God Kenis if I won’t protect myself? Goddamn prophecy!

I went to the Academy and as usual we’re studying about the history of our world. How to protect it from those bastard creeps and mutants that wiped out most of our beings thousand years ago.

“Brad, you’re down again. Is it about the prophecy?” I shifted my gaze to Jacob and he’s grinning like an asshole. He’s the descendant of God Flash and his ability is speed.

“Don’t light the wood Jacob. You might regret it later.” I move his chair and his looks turns into a weakling pheasant. I can move things with my mind and that’s my special powers given by God Kenis.

“Just joking brad come on. Ok I’m sorry. So I was right?” I just nod at him.

“Hey Jacob, Kin.” Flicke greeted. The descendant of the God Forth. The God of teleportation.

“It’s too……unfair, Flicke. You can….you can come here in just like that.” Clay barely said those words since he’s catching his breathing. Maybe because he ran a while ago to catch Flicke. He’s the descendant of God Photon. His powers are related to light.

“Kin.” Dew greeted like usual. He’s the descendant of God Vins, the god of invisibility. He’s like that since we’re young. We grew up together since we are taken care by the Kingdom. Probably because we are the descendants.

We practice our potentials for us to be ready whenever there are creeps and mutants. If you wonder what is the difference between the two, creeps are the smaller ones with long sharp nails and very nimble. Unlike the mutants, they are enormously large and carry weapons like mallets and even gigantic swords.

“Good morning descendants.” All of them went to their seats immediately as our lecturer, Ms Valentin greeted. “Hello Miss Valentin.” Jacob greeted with a wink. His craziness really sticks on him. He’s unbelievable.

Meanwhile on Earth….

(Diana’s POV)

“Diana, Auzia is already looking for you. She’s already waiting outside for almost thirty minutes!” Just how I thought I’ll have already my beauty rest. Why now? It’s too early and mother’s mouth keeps firing like a rifle gun. Annoying as always.

“Just a minute!” Just what kind of guts does my friend have right now? We have no class right now since we haven’t received the confirmation from the Gilbert’s University.

“BEEEESS!!!” I welcomed her with just a stolid reaction. Early in the morning and she’s already noisy just like my mother. I’m just holding my hands not to slap her face right now. She’s really thankful that we are best friends.

“What?” I asked coldly. I really don’t have mood in talking or conversing with others when I just woke up. I glanced at my wrist watch and in all freaking time. “Auzia! It’s still seven thirty! What’s that very important matter of yours that you really need to ruin my sleep huh?”

“What? You’ve just woke up?” I raised my left eyebrow on her because of her question. Isn’t it obvious? “Anyways I already contacted a landlord of a boarding house near our school.” I just said ‘ah’ to her. Why didn’t she just texted me about that matter? Does she really need to come here?

“And one thing.” Her eyes suddenly sparkled and it made me shivers. She looks creepy. “We’re accepted in the university!! We’re now a Gilbertian bes!” she shouted crazily then unconsciously embraces me. Accepted?

“What do you mean accepted?” I asked confusedly thinking about where the hell did I…..”Wait? Accepted in the GU?” a wide smile crept in my face because of excitement.

“Yeah right. You just repeated what I just said a while ago.” She rolled her eyes on me but she immediately gave me a peace sign. “They announced it yesterday and some says that there are plenty of handsome men there. OMG!! Maybe this is already my future? What do you think?” I gave her a wide smile before flicking her forehead.
