Chapter 4

When Deku finally came to everyone around him was being given candy by an old lady whom Deku instantly recognised as The Youthful Heroine:Recovery girl. Deku could feel her aura if he had to put in a word it would be white.  Clean, safe, and calm would be some choices right after that for Deku.  It was more rounded than others, no sharp edges just healing light.  It was also much more constant than Deku's aura when he wasn't copying something.  

When Midoriya got home he smiled. He was fairly sure he had passed; he hadn't seen anyone else with more points than him.  That said nothing for the other centers but he was pretty confident. His mother was more nervous than he was. A few weeks later the letter came,  He instantly opened to find that the projection disc was set to autoplay.

"I AM HERE AS A PROJECTION! WHY AM I HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE NEWEST FACULTY MEMBER OF UA. Izuku Midoriya you scored 35 villain points' a passing score on it's own.  However no true hero school could be totally devoid of any evaluation of character or sense of self sacrifice therefore we created rescue points.  These are awarded by a panel of judges and added to your score for doing something heroic other than beating villains.  For risking your body and point  potential to save a fellow examine you are awarded the maximum of 60 points. Putting you at a grand total of 95 points.  With a score that high you managed to tie for first place in your year. Congratulations young Midoriya, this shall be your hero academia." The message ended as quickly as it had begun. Deku was astounded. He knew he was going to pass but first was a different kind of thing all together. 

Deku pulled out the letter from the envelope and read it. It contained more or less the same information as the recording however it also said his homeroom was 1A and where to report on the first day of school. He ran to give the letter to his mom who was absolutely overjoyed with the results.

Not everyone was as happy with the results though. "A tie I tied that damned nerd" Bakugou yelled, absolutely  certain that the one who tied him was Deku.  No one else was that good at their age. Hell he wouldn't have even tied if it weren't for the ten rescue points he got from blowing up a robot that looked like it'd have beaten another examine.  It was infuriating because he knew that it wasn't that unusual given the smaller difference in skill with Deku compared to the past.

Mineta received the news he knew he would. He had failed.  How was he supposed to get points if the hardening and explosion kid destroyed every last robot? He didn't even get a single rescue point because he was to busy looking for robots.

'36th place.  The very last spot huh.  26 points 24 of which were rescue.' Thought the purple haired boy. 'Well any spot in the hero course is a step towards my goals'
