7 Melody -Ch 6

Okay so it's easier to picture this on wattpad bc I can use a sound from yt on there, but if you dont have wattpad, use spotify or whatever song app you use :) (there was a cover that I used for the song bc it sounds more real)

𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑

𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵, 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘥?!

"Very funny, Dream." George mumbled, loud enough for Dream to hear.

"I'm serio-" He stopped himself, not wanting to make George any more uncomfortable. There was an awkward silence for a few moments.

"Hey Dream..?"

"Hm?"

George mumbled something inaudible.

"Huh? I couldn't hear you."

"Nothing, forget it." George got up and walked in the kitchen. Dream watched as he looked in the pantry, to once again discover the same wrappers he saw the day before.

"Oh yeah, you don't have ANY FOOD!" George yelled at him in an amused kind of way, throwing the wrappers away. He probably knew Dream was too lazy to.

Dream smiled a bit, still caught up on what George had said. "Oopsieee."

George sighed. "Let's go grocery shopping. We can get something to eat afterwards."

𝙂𝙚𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑

After grocery shopping and getting food, they went home. For hours they just sat home, chatting, watching movies, playing games, and going on their phones every so often. As it approached night, they both took turns showering and brushing their teeth.

George was done showering and brushing his teeth, and was about to yell at Dream that he was done, when he heard a soft sound of music playing. George decided to follow the sound, his steps being faint, the musical notes leading up to Dream's bedroom. He heard a guitar to the beginning of a song. He decided to listen.

"Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one night stand."

"But I still need love 'cause I'm just a man."

"These nights never seem to go as planned."

"I don't want you to leave, won't you hold my hand..?"

..?

"Oh won't you, stay with me.."

"Cuz you're, all I need."

"This ain't love, it's clear to see~"

"But darlin', stay with me.."

George wondered who he meant, but continued to listen to the beautiful melody. The notes touched his heart. And Dream's voice... It sounded so calming and comforting to him.

"Why am I so emotional?"

"No it's not a good look, gain some self-control."

"Deep down I know this never works~"

"But you could lay with me so it doesn't hurt~"

𝗢𝗸𝗮𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁!

George leaned against the door to listen more, but hadn't realized the door hadn't been fully shut, causing the door to swing open. He yelped as he tumbled to the floor, exposing himself. Dream jumped back in shock, his eyes widening. "G-george-?"

"Shit- I- uhm- sorry ab-about that- uhm, I'm d-done s-showering."

Dream sighed and laid his guitar down to go shower. He patted George's head when he passed him. George smiled in embarrassment. He sat down in wonder.

𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵?

George sighed and sat on his bed. When Dream was done, he walked back in the room.

"Soo, do you wanna tell me why you were spying on me?" Dream sounded serious, but his expression wasn't.

"I- uhm, I just heard uh- music c-coming from the bedroom- a-and i wanted to see what w-was up." George fumbled with his words.

"Oh, Gogy." Dream smiled. "Goodnight."

"Wait.. When did you learn to play guitar?"

"Psh, I dunno. I used to take lessons when I was younger."

"You sounded amazing.."

Dream chuckled. "Thanks, Gogy. Now, goodnight."

"Goodnight."

He got up and left the room, making it feel emptier without him sitting next to George, the butterflies fluttering away as Dream got further away from him.

George decided to try fall asleep as well, and drifted off to a deep sleep.
