For The Last Time

The Next Day when Ethan was smoking a cigarette in the lawn, Jaxon came downstairs, saw him and ran at him outside.

"Hey pal". He greeted and wrapped his arms around Ethan's waist from behind.

"Hey". Ethan replied coldly.

Jaxon noticed the rudeness, he pulled himself back and looked at Ethan with worry. "Ethan? What is it?". He asked.

"I _". Ethan looked around and threw the cigarette away. "Jaxon! I'm so confused, I'm not at ease". He said and unbuttoned hus shirt to let the air in.

"Tell me, what happened?". Jaxon stroked his back. "Is it about Father?".

Ethan shook his head. "I don't want to go back to the Vampire world".

"hmm.. I see". Jaxon nodded and thought for a while. "Listen to me buddy, as soon as we get rid of that stupid case, we'll come back to Romania.. I promise".

"It will take centuries!". Ethan exclaimed. "ahh! I wish I was never a Vampire.. I would've died till now, resting in my grave".

"Stop it Ethan!". Jaxon put his palm on Ethan's mouth. "I PROMISE! We will come back here.. please don't worry Ethan".

"Okay! Okay!". Ethan moved a bit backwards. "As for removing their memories, I agree".

"I knew you would agree". Jaxon was delighted. He threw himself at Ethan and he embraced him. "I love you Ethan".

"I love you more". Ethan replied. "But there's a condition".

"I know what's going on in your head!". Jaxon chuckled.

"I don't want them to forget EVERYTHING.. I mean, they shouldn't forget each other,they should remember their trip to Romania and both Asher and Ryan. Remove only US from their memories". Ethan said.

"Fine". Jaxon nodded. He looked at Ethan with a smirk

"I can do you a favor".

"What?". Ethan asked.

"I'll not remove HER memory". Jaxon told.

"Her?". Ethan thought for a while. "Are you talking about Rosie?".

"Yeah". Jaxon smiled. "Because you gave mother's necklace to her and it will stay connected to you".

"Deal". Ethan said. "Let's go inside".

"I forgot to tell you Ethan". Josiah said as they were jogging in a park. "I think you'll know but still, lemme tell you, Father told me to tell you that you can take Rosie with you to the Vampire World".

Ethan stopped, looking at Josiah with confused eyes. "Why?".

Josiah turned back and took a deep breath. "Because you like her".

Ethan blushed and looked down. "Jesus!".

"Come on my love!". Josiah giggled, patting of Ethan's shoulder. "We know it".

"I DO like her but I don't want to take her with me, let her stay with her family, her brother, her niece and_ Asher". Ethan looked down.

Josiah noticed his sadness. He curled his lips and sighed. "She'll always stay connected to you until she has that necklace.. Jax won't remove her memory so that she remembers you".

"I know, but don't you think it'll become more difficult for her. Everyone around her won't believe if she ever tried to tell them about us. They'll make fun of her". Ethan asked.

"No". Josiah shook his head with a smile.

"Alright". Ethan gave a nod. "Come on let's carry on". He said and started jogging again.

Jaxon was in the same cellar, where he had kept Ethan. He was preparing the elixir which would remove the group's memories. He took a small bottle with a fluid in it and carefully poured it on his fingertips. "I thought it would be so difficult to kill the Monsters".

"If we had to kill them without Ethan, it WOULD BE". Jaxon replied.

"Hmm". Henry was now biting his nails.

"Done". Jaxon stood up straight.

Henry got up from his place and came nearer to Jaxon. "God! You're a genius".

"We have to do this ASAP". Jaxon sighed. He pulled his sleeves down and adjusted his collar. "Let's go".

The Vampires went to Asher's place for THE LAST TIME.

They met everyone separately, Michael was a bit sad. He was sobbing.

"Oh God! This is so cute". Henry said looking at Michael who had buried his face in Jaxon's chest.

Jaxon stroked his hairs. "We'll miss you Michael". He smiled.

Michael pulled himself back."Promise Me you'll remember us".

"How can we forget the people who did such a big favor to us?". Josiah giggled and lifted Alexa up, kissing her cheeks. "Thank you little princess".

"Thank you for what?". Alexa asked.

"For becoming a reason for us to meet these wonderful people". Josiah replied.

"You're welcome ". Alexa said innocently.

"If_ I, Thank you people a million of times, it would be less". Ethan said. "Thank you so much for whatever you did for me, you people have a special place in my heart and I'll always remember you".

"You shouldn't say that Ethan, saving your life was a duty imposed on us". William replied.

Ethan smiled and hugged William tightly.

"Thank you". He whispered in his ears again.

Ethan then moved to Asher. "Your house was an inn_ sorry for that". He chuckled.

During all these days, Asher never smiled at Ethan as he was angry at him for being so close to Rosie. But today, when they were going, Asher's eyes had tears in them. He embraced Ethan with a big smile on his face and sobbed.

"I'm sorry for being so rude". He said in a slow voice.

"It's okay". Ethan whispered.

Jaxon was standing close to Rosie. He leaned towards her and whispered. "Meet me outside".

Jaxon winked at Rosie with a smile and went out in the lawn.

Rosie followed him outside.

"What happened?". Rosie asked confusingly. "Why did you asked me to come out?".

"I have something to say". Jaxon replied and pulled out the bottle of elixir from his pocket. "Take this".

"What is this?". Rosie grabbed the small bottle.

"Mix this up in some fluid like juice or milk and give ask the men and your niece to drink it". Jaxon told.

"What would this do?".

"It'll remove us from their memories".

"What? How- Jaxon! Why are you doing this?". Rosie was amazed.

"It's important Rosie".

"But we'll forget you and none of us wants this to happen!". Rosie exclaimed.

"We are compelled ". Jaxon looked down. "It doesn't matter if you people forget us, we'll live and we'll remember you".

Rosie sighed in frustration. "Okay.. As you wish".

"Thank you Rosie". Jaxon was delighted. It wasn't difficult to convince her. "But lemme tell you don't take it yourself".

"Why the hell?".

"It wouldn't work on ladies". Jaxon smiled.

"What do you mean?"

"Just kidding". Jaxon shrugged. "Ethan didn't wanted us to remove your memory".

"Can I ask the reason?". Rosie asked.

"Ethan has already confessed his love. That's the reason. He wants you to remember him. That necklace waited for a new owner for about 75 years. That new owner were you, Ethan gave it to the right person, It'll make you stay connected with us, and we'll be there if you ever need us". Jaxon replied. "One more thing, the potion make them feel dizzy and they'll doze off. After they wake up from a sleep of approximately eight hours, they'll go back to the day when Alexa disappeared. They would know that something happened to Alexa but make a fake story and tell them she went to play with the children in the neighborhood. They won't remember anything so they'll not ask more.. Gosh! I talk too much!".

"Got it". Rosie nodded. She looked around, her eyes filled with tears. "It was a quite good time spent with all of you". She wept. "I don't want you people to go".

"We will miss you". Jaxon said and hugged Rosie, stroking her head like a big brother.

"Will I be ever able to see you people again?".

Rosie's innocent question hit Jaxon but then, there was Ethan.

"If you allow me, I'll be always there in your heart".

"Ethan!". Jaxon shushed him with a glare.

Ethan smiled and said: "I mean, dreams".

"Really?". Rosie asked.

Jaxon took a sigh of relief as she didn't understood what Ethan really meant, he didn't wanted Rosie to back off from Asher as he was a good guy.

"Yeah". Ethan said.

"Would you like to come over to the Vampire World?". Jaxon asked Rosie.

"Why?".

"You have an option". Jaxon shrugged.

"Alright go away Jax. You're talking so much". Ethan interrupted.

Jaxon winked at Ethan and went inside.

Ethan watched him go. "Asher's a nice guy".

"Why are we talking about him?".

"Because, he's your future". Ethan replied.

"How do you know?". Rosie raised her eyebrows with a smile.

"My heart says". Ethan said.

"What else does your heart says?". Rosie asked.

"That you'll have three beautiful babies". Ethan giggled.

"What? Jesus!". Rosie blushed.

"Just kidding". Ethan said. "Well, would you like to come to the Vampire World with us?".

"Vamp- Was Jaxon serious?".

"We just want to know what would you choose".

"Well, going to The Vampire World will be fun".

"No it's not fun, you have to spend each and every in minute of your life thinking how to defeat your rivals". Ethan shook his head.

"So, you don't want me to go and you're still asking me?". Rosie said.

"Just wanted to tell you that I AM able to take you with me but I wouldn't because you deserve to be with your family". Ethan replied. "So never become sad at the thought of not going with us, it's ridiculous. Secondly, If Jaxon asks you again, deny".

"Okay". Rosie grinned.

"So, I was talking about the dreams, would you allow me to come to your dreams...".

Ethan stood there talking with Rosie for so long while others were having fun inside... FOR THE LAST TIME.
