Elec and Gas soon arrived at Planet Cereal, where Macki proudly presented the two Dragon Balls as if they were treasures.
Elec picked up one of the Dragon Balls between two fingers, raised it to eye level, and squinted as he examined it closely. The Dragon Balls on Planet Cereal were only the size of a ping-pong ball, miniature in comparison to the ones on Earth or Namek. It was hard to believe that something so small could hold the power to fulfill any wish.
Elec's curiosity was piqued. "Looking closely, this just seems like an ordinary orange crystal. Can it really fulfill any wish? Does it truly have such magical power?"
Macki, still controlling Monaito, laughed. "Hehe, whether it's true or not, we'll find out soon enough. According to Monaito's memories, by reciting a special incantation, you can summon the dragon from the Dragon Balls and make your wish."
"Haha, I'm looking forward to this." Elec put his hands on his hips and laughed.
"What kind of wish do you want to make, Elec?" Macki asked, intrigued.
Elec had already decided on his wish and replied confidently, "I want Gas to become the strongest warrior in the universe. That way, our Heeter brothers can truly become the overlords of the universe. The Heeter Family will rise to the pinnacle of power, with the four of us at the helm."
"Wow, that's a great wish," Macki said, her eyes lighting up.
Even the usually quiet Oil showed signs of excitement, as if he could already envision the glory that awaited the Heeter Family.
Only Gas remained calm, seemingly uninterested in using the Dragon Balls to enhance his strength, but he did not oppose Elec's wishes.
"Alright then, let's summon the dragon and make this wish a reality."
"It sounds like a monster is about to appear. We should perform the ritual outside."
"Yes, yes, let's go outside."
"Bring the old man along—he's the only one who knows the summoning spell."
With the Dragon Balls in hand, Elec led the group outside, followed by Macki, who dragged Monaito along, and Oil and Gas trailing behind.
Once outside, Elec carefully placed the two Dragon Balls on the grass. He turned to Macki and said, "Okay, let's get started."
"Yeah." Macki nodded, then commanded Monaito, "Monaito, summon the dragon."
Under Macki's control, Monaito began to chant the incantation to summon the dragon, his voice monotonous and robotic.
"Takalaput, Tothronpo...Pupiliteparo!!!"
As Monaito recited the spell, the two Dragon Balls suddenly emitted a brilliant golden light.
The Heeter siblings had never seen such a phenomenon before, and they watched in wide-eyed amazement.
At that moment, a spaceship trailing thick smoke broke through Planet Cereal's atmosphere, descending at incredible speed.
Dozens of other spaceships, also spewing smoke, were in hot pursuit.
"Hmm? What is that?" Elec muttered, puzzled.
Gas, who had been silent, glanced up and said, "Granolah is back."
Macki's eyes widened in surprise.
Hearing this, Elec's expression darkened with anger. "Those idiots! So many of them couldn't take down Granolah, and now he's returned to Planet Cereal."
"I'll take care of them," Gas said calmly. In a blur of motion, he sped off toward the incoming spaceships.
Oil sighed, "Gas is still as decisive as ever."
Meanwhile, the golden light from the Dragon Balls grew more intense, eventually coalescing into a thick pillar of light that shot up into the sky. As the sky darkened, the golden pillar of light took shape, transforming into a water-blue dragon.
This dragon wasn't as majestic as the one on Earth, nor as imposing as the dragon on Namek. Instead, it exuded a strange, primal energy, more like a wild beast that had just awakened.
Its body shimmered with water-blue light, and its prominent head and horns emitted a blood-red glow from its eyes. The dragon writhed in the sky, an awe-inspiring sight.
"A dragon was actually summoned," Macki marveled.
Beads of sweat formed on Elec's forehead as he too stared in wonder. "So this is the dragon that can grant wishes?"
"Incredible~"
The dragon gazed down at the people on the ground and spoke in a deep, resonant voice, "To those who have gathered the two Dragon Balls, state your wish. If it is within my power, I shall grant it."
"Great, it's real!" Macki clapped her hands excitedly and added, "According to Monaito's memories, you can make your wish in our usual language."
"Haha, excellent." Elec looked up at the water-blue dragon and grinned.
Meanwhile, Granolah's spaceship crash-landed with a deafening explosion, thick smoke billowing into the sky.
But fortunately, Granolah had managed to escape the ship just before the impact.
Panting heavily, covered in wounds and utterly exhausted, Granolah looked up at the darkened sky and noticed the bright light in the distance.
It was the light from the dragon.
Granolah's pupils contracted. That's the direction of home, he thought. "Oatmeel, what… what is that? A dragon?"
Thanks to Granolah's enhanced eyesight, he could make out the vague shape of the water-blue dragon even from over ten kilometers away.
Oatmeel responded, "It must be Elec who summoned the dragon…"
"No, we're too late. I don't know what's happened to Grandpa," Granolah growled in frustration. He took off into the air, speeding toward the dragon.
But before he could get far, the dozens of pursuing spaceships landed in front of him, blocking his path.
"Damn it, these annoying flies," Granolah spat, taking a deep breath as he prepared to take them all down in one go.
But someone beat him to it.
A red light streaked through the sky, followed by a series of thunderous explosions as the spaceships were destroyed in rapid succession, killing more than a dozen mercenaries and assassins.
"Gas?" Granolah gasped when he saw the figure responsible for the destruction.
Is Gas helping me? he wondered for a brief moment.
But the thought was fleeting—Gas wasn't helping him. This madman was just attacking indiscriminately, intent on killing everyone and silencing them.
Gas had always been like that.
"Boom!" Granolah ignited a green aura and shot off toward the dragon.
But within seconds, a red light blocked his path.
It was Gas.
"Damn it, Gas, get out of my way," Granolah snarled, veins throbbing on his forehead.
"Hmph!" Gas didn't bother responding. Instead, he threw a punch, his fist blazing with red energy, the air around it crackling with power.
Granolah's pupils shrank as he realized he needed to take this fight seriously. Gas was no joke.
But Granolah was already severely weakened from his earlier battles. Within seconds, he found himself outmatched, beaten back by Gas's relentless assault.
Back at the dragon's summoning site, Elec looked up at the dragon and spoke, "Any wish is fine, right? Then make my brother Gas the strongest warrior in the universe, hahaha."
The water-blue dragon's red eyes flashed as it responded, "The strongest warrior in the universe? That would be the most powerful existence among all mortal life forms, second only to the gods…"
"Second only to the gods? Well, that's fine," Elec mused. This was the first time he had learned about the existence of gods, and the revelation intrigued him.
"Even so, can this wish be granted?" Elec asked.
"I can indeed make a mortal stronger, but a mortal cannot withstand power that exceeds their physical potential. Becoming the strongest warrior in the universe is not so simple."
"There are many powerful beings in this universe. If your brother Gas wishes to surpass them all, his potential is not enough…"
