Anya: So doc.... what're my results?

I sit down and wait anxiously for the doc to reply. He looks down and inspects a file of papers he holds in his hands. He takes a deep breath and cleans his glasses before looking at me with a grave expression.

Doc: I have no fucking idea.

Anya: What.

Doc: This is common, don't worry. Basically, your gift is the type which can't be normally categorised and is a lot more complex than it seems.

The doc explains as I listen intently trying to recall the categories that split up gifts. I remember scrolling through the Superpowerwiki and viewing the countless powers listed and reading about them for hours on end. There were thousands of categories yet mine was not in them? How peculiar.

Doc: We label these type of gifts in the Abstract category but I can tell you one thing. Your power involves randomness of some kind.

Anya: What does this mean for my break then?

Doc: Usually, when students receive their gift evaluation, they're given a few days off to get used to their abilities and train them but since yours is an abstract gift, they'll give you a couple weeks or so.

Doc: They'll probably send you work to do while your off

Doc: Take these pills three times day, once per breakfast, lunch and dinner, got it?

I head home while pondering on the nature of my gift. I hope it's powerful, so I can take revenge on my enemies and take over the world. Or it could be Teleportation which would make life so much easier although if it was Teleportation, it wouldn't be a abstract gift.

I sit down and turn on the news as background noise while I go on Webnovel and reread my same favourite books instead of starting the books that's been unopened and left to collect dust in my library for years.

I get out of bed and have some cereal while I call doc.

Anya: Yo doc, I was wondering yesterday if I was supposed to take one or three during dinner because I already had breakfast and lunch before getting the pills.

Doc: Oh just one, those pills are accelerants and taking too many at once can lead to death, gifts becoming out of control or in small extremely rare cases activating the gift early and making it powerful but you'd have a better chance of lightning striking you and your scars spelling today's lottery numbers.

Anya: Oh.... good thing I took one.... haha.... hah.... ha...
