The man stretched her arms and handed her the bouquet that she accepted and set it down at the center table. She crossed her arms and waited for an explanation.

"I wanted to formally ask for your permission to court you."

"What???" She felt confused.

"I know everything I have done before was wrong. I didn't tell you what I truly feel and expected that you would accept it."

Wang Xiu turned her body to leave. She wasn't ready for a relationship and the actor knew well the reason behind it. Raising her brow, she scoffed with her answer.

"Li Jun please don't do this right now."

The man carefully held her arm and pulled her back to her spot.
