[ELRIC EXELON POV]

Waiting for the CEO to arrive, he paced back and forth inside the office. The woman didn't come back to his hotel last night and he understood it was because of his butler, Jeff. Accused as a traitor by Mischa by persuading the hired intruder to expose the man who paid him, Wang Xiu would feel he failed to protect her. She would leave him.

He wouldn't allow it.

The knob twisted and the wooden cover let out a woman he anticipated to see.

"X-Xiu…," he called the CEO and noticed the cold face greeting him.

"E-Elric…," Wang Xiu mumbled his name and stood unmoved near the door, "I want you to leave my office."

"Let me explain first," he answered unruffled by the woman's emotionlessness.

"No," the woman replied, determined to not give him a chance to convey the truth. "Please leave before I call the security and force you out of here," Wang Xiu stated and marched towards the red marble table.
