At level 12, Gangplank wielded the combat prowess of an elite Vice Admiral in the A-level Navy Headquarters—a force to be reckoned with, even in the New World.

Some members of Kaido's crew might not match an elite Vice Admiral's strength. Only the leading captains of the Whitebeard Pirates' 16th Division could rival such power.

Caught between a barrage of artillery shells and Gangplank's deadly bullets, Diamante's crew danced on the edge of disaster. They managed to dodge a few bullets and cannonballs, but their ship was soon torn apart by the relentless assault.

The New World members of the Donquixote Family were formidable, but they couldn't withstand cannon fire. Despite being stronger than their counterparts in the Four Seas, they were still outmatched.

With Diamante's ship sunk, Gangplank's victorious fleet sailed away triumphantly. Amidst the wreckage, several survivors appeared, powerless and humbled.

"Seems like you met the infamous Gangplank and came out on the losing end," Doflamingo remarked, his expression serious.

He hadn't anticipated his top cadres being defeated by a rookie pirate while dealing with a West Blue mafia family. This turn of events raised questions about the Donquixote Family's standing and the shifting tides of West Blue's seas.

Even in the New World, few pirates could defy the Donquixote Family's flag and defeat Diamante with such ease.

Diamante, boasting the combat prowess of an A-level Navy Headquarters Vice Admiral, along with his Devil Fruit abilities and swordsmanship, could hold his ground against even the mightiest Vice Admiral for a time. In the entire pirate world, there were likely fewer than 500 individuals who could confidently defeat him.

However, despite his formidable skills, Diamante, along with Lao.G and Maha, was swiftly overwhelmed without even getting a clear look at Plank's face, ending up at the bottom of the sea—a humiliating defeat.

"Forgive us, Dover. We failed," Diamante choked back tears, feeling deep shame. Lao.G and Maha shared in his disappointment.

Doflamingo, although inwardly frustrated, maintained a composed demeanor. "It's alright, I forgive you," he reassured them. "You're all like family to me."

Doflamingo's leniency was well-known among his subordinates, many of whom had grown up under his guidance, witnessing both weakness and triumph.

"However, we cannot afford another failure in dealing with the Vinsmoke mafia family," Doflamingo asserted firmly. "Another failure is not an option."

"We won't fail again. We may be a West Blue mafia family, but we will succeed in this mission," Diamante declared with renewed determination, grateful for Doflamingo's forgiveness and ready to redeem their previous defeat.

As the top leader of the Donquixote Family, Doflamingo couldn't shake off a lingering unease about West Blue. Something felt off about the region; it seemed different than before.

On Vinsmoke Island, Diamante and his crew, having commandeered a small boat in a panic, finally reached the Vinsmoke family's headquarters. Spotting Duke, Ahri, and others standing silently on the dock, Diamante's nerves eased upon not seeing a massive fleet or cannons.

Feeling arrogant and indignant, he yelled out, "How dare this West Blue trash waste our time! Every member of the Vinsmoke family must pay with their lives! Let their heads be a testament to our strength!"

After a near-drowning incident, Diamante was determined not to repeat such humiliation. Although the waters of West Blue were not as treacherous as those in the New World, they could still pose a threat to Devil Fruit users.

Before the boat even docked, Diamante leaped into action, wielding his sword to unleash a devastating energy slash aimed at Duke and the others. His fury and frustration fueled his desire to use their lives to quench his thirst for revenge.

With the mission in West Blue weighing on his mind, Diamante aimed to swiftly eliminate the Vinsmoke family and return to the New World. For the Donquixote Family, the New World was where their true power and influence lay.

Diamante's sword technique, coupled with his Devil Fruit abilities, made him a formidable adversary. A pirate with a bounty in the hundreds of millions stood no chance against his might.
