He took a step backwards, making me worry a little.
"Uncle is everything okay? What's wrong?" I slowly stood up.
"Father, are you okay? Why do you look pale suddenly?" Genevieve asked him with a worried look.
With bulging eyes that almost felt like they were about to fall off from their sockets, he stepped back one more time.
"I-I have to go," he quickly turned and ran out the door.
"What just happened?" I asked in shock.
Genevieve just shrugged. "This is the first time I have seen Father like this. He doesn't easily get shocked over simple things not even over a birthmark. He absolutely never gets shocked over anything."
"You saw the way he left this place, right?"
"You should eat your porridge before it goes cold."
"But what about your father? Don't you think you should call your mother or at least call him to find out if he is fine? I am really worried about him," I said, thinking about what could happen to him in that state.
