TAKAHASHI
In moments like this, I could reminisce about what could have been. But I cannot allow myself to regret the things I have done.
Everything that happened in the past was irreversible. Every choice I had made was because of something that needed to be done. If not, there would have been far more enormous consequences in the end.
My father would always say, "We do not live in the past; we only visit."
What happened already happened. Lessons were either learned, or experience was acquired. It can be both.
Either way, there was no point in waiting to turn back time and make a different choice. If one was really given that chance, would the individual really make a different choice?
