Chapter 21 Trouble

Just as she was to walk up towards them, Ming Ji drove away his car.

Seeing the two Rongxia clenched her fists and it formed crescents on her palm.

Beside her was Zhao Maihan, Zhao Maihan saw Ming Ji and said, "Rongxia, isn't that your father? Oh, who's that beside him?"

Zhao Maihan was the daughter of Zhao family in Y city and Rongxia's best friend. She was overbearing and bossy however no one wants to go against her due to her status.

"Uhm that girl is my sister, Ming An Ling, she recently just returned from the countryside." Rongxia said as she bit on her lips.

Seeing Rongxia's aggrieved expressions, Zhao Maihan assumed and confronted her, "Did that girl bully you? Who does she think she is, just because she is the biological daughter of Ming family, high society of Y will accept her?"

"N-no, sister did not bully me. Don't anyhow say anything but..."

"But what? You should tell me what did she do so that I can help you stand up against injustice!" Zhao Maihan continued.

"Alright alright, although sister has never bullied me, the looks she always give me was unfriendly, she probably thinks that I took her place in the family. Maybe I should leave Ming family!" Rongxia quivered

"Rongxia, you did nothing wrong. If it's leaving, it should be her! She should have remained lost instead of coming back trying to snatch from you." Zhao Maihan comforted her angrily.

"Don't worry Rongxia, I will help you deal with her."

"Please don't harm sister although she doesn't like me, I wish for no harm towards her." Rongxia said pretentiously, from an angle where no one could see she smiled. "But what are you going to do? Please don't be reckless!"

"It's okay, I will just let her know that some places is where she should not be at." Zhao Maihan proceeds to make a call.

Ming An Ling waited for Ming Ji's car to drive away before she walked to the school gate unhurriedly.

As she was currently new, she did not have a student card to go in and was stopped by the security guard.

Ming An Ling took out the acceptance letter from her bag and handed it to him. "Is this okay?"

The security glanced at the letter and an emotion flashed in his eyes, he then looked at Ming An Ling again, this time with a different look in his eyes. All this did not go unnoticed by Ming An Ling but she brushed it off.

That security guard then signalled another guard over and told Ming An Ling "Wait here while I go in to check."

Without waiting for a reply, he left and took the letter with him. Ming An Ling narrowed her eyes 'Why is there so much trouble in a small highschool? It's annoying.'

However, the security guard did not return even after twenty minutes. Ming An Ling pressed against her forehead. She really want to complain about the school's efficiency. Is the school that big?

"Can you chase your colleague for me?" She asked the guard politely.

Embarrassed, the guard called a few times to no avail, he looked at her apologetically.
