CH 26: MAGIC THEORY

As the professor calls out Kaiden's name, the door to the classroom bursts open and Kaiden Blackwood walks in, a confident smile on his face. He's dressed in the standard Eridorian Academy of Magic uniform, a crisp white shirt with a silver emblem on the chest and black pants with a silver stripe running down the side. His hair is perfectly messy, and his eyes sparkle with a hint of mischief.

"Sorry I'm late, Professor," Kaiden says, his voice smooth and charming. "I had a bit of a situation to attend to."

The professor raises an eyebrow, intrigued by Kaiden's entrance. "Very well, Kaiden. Take your seat."

Kaiden nods and scan the room and sees a empty seat at the back which had windows besides it and makes his way to his seat, his eyes scanning the room as he goes. He catches Eryndor's eye and gives him a nod of acknowledgement before taking his seat.

Professor Arin Vashin finished taking attendance and greeted the students again, a warm smile on his face. "Okay! Today, we will discuss about magic theory and types of magic."

The students leaned forward, their eyes wide with anticipation..

"Magic is a complex and multifaceted subject," Professor Vashin began. "It's a combination of art, science, and philosophy. Magic theory is the study of the underlying principles and mechanisms that govern magic. It's a vast and fascinating field, and we'll be exploring it in depth throughout this course."

The professor wrote on the blackboard, his chalk squeaking as he moved. "There are several types of magic, including elemental, arcane, and divine magic.

Elemental magic is the manipulation of the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water.

Arcane magic is the manipulation of magical energy, and divine magic is the manipulation of the divine forces that shape the world."

The students nodded, taking notes and asking questions.

Eryndor listened to Professor Vashin's lecture, a sense of nostalgia washing over him. He had written about the four elements and their properties in his outline, and it was interesting to see them being taught.

He glanced over at Kaiden, who was taking notes intently. Eryndor wondered if Kaiden was as familiar with the magical world as he was.

"Elemental magic is the foundation of all magic," Professor Vashin continued. "It's the manipulation of the elements to achieve a specific goal. We'll be learning about the different elements, their properties, and how to manipulate them.

you will all also be learning about the different types of elemental magic, including evocation, transmutation, and conjuration in the future "

The professor explained each type of elemental magic in detail, using examples and diagrams to illustrate his points. The students listened intently, their faces filled with excitement and anticipation.

"Evocation is the manipulation of the elements to create a specific effect," Professor Vashin explained. "For example, a fire evocation spell might create a wall of flames to block an enemy.

Transmutation is the manipulation of the elements to change their form or properties. For example, a transmutation spell might turn a rock into a sword.

Conjuration is the manipulation of the elements to create a new object or entity. For example, a conjuration spell might create a shield to protect the caster."

The students nodded, taking notes and asking questions.

" But I'll only be focusing on the four main elements: earth, air, fire, and water."

"We'll be learning about all of these types of elemental magic ." Professor Vashin continued. "We'll also be learning about the different techniques and tools used in elemental magic, including spellcasting, potion-making, and magical combat. We'll be practicing these techniques in class, and I encourage you all to experiment and try new things yourself in free time."

"Now, I know some of you may have already learned some basic spells, but we'll be building on those skills and taking them to the next level," Professor Vashin continued. "We'll also be learning about the different types of magic, including elemental, arcane, and divine magic."

As the professor spoke, the students started to get restless, their minds racing with questions and excitement.

"Now, let's move on to the basic theory of magic," Professor Vashin said, writing on the blackboard. "As I mentioned earlier, magic is a complex and multifaceted subject, but at its core, it's all about manipulating energy. There are three main types of energy that we'll be working with: magical energy, elemental energy, and divine energy."

The professor drew a diagram on the blackboard, illustrating the different types of energy and how they interact with each other.

"Now, let's focus on elemental magic," Professor Vashin said, turning to the topic of elemental magic. "As we discussed earlier, elemental magic is the manipulation of the elements to achieve a specific goal. We'll be learning about the different elements, their properties, and how to manipulate them throughout this course."

The professor wrote on the blackboard, listing the different elements and their properties.

"Earth magic is all about stability and structure," Professor Vashin explained. "It's about creating solid foundations and building strong structures. Air magic is all about movement and fluidity. It's about creating currents and flows, and manipulating the air to achieve a specific goal. Fire magic is all about energy and transformation. It's about creating heat and light, and manipulating the flames to achieve a specific goal. Water magic is all about flow and adaptation. It's about creating currents and flows, and manipulating the water to achieve a specific goal."

The students nodded, taking notes and asking questions.

The professor's words were like a distant hum in the background as Eryndor's mind began to wander. Eryndor let out a long sigh ! as he was already started feel sleepy , it was interesting at first but Erynodor couldn't help but feel bored.

' Fuck i can't beleive i am already this bored on the first day' Eryndor thought .

' Full fucking 4 years' Sigh!! Eryndor let out a long sigh! to stay wake but then something flashed before his eyes.

It was his system

Ding !

Basic magical theory mastery : 1% ... 2%..2.5%

Eryndor's eyes widened as he read the system notification. He couldn't believe that he could increase his basic magic theory mastery just by listening to the professor's lecture. He felt a surge of excitement and motivation, and his sleepiness instantly vanished.

As Eryndor was still lost in his thoughts Professor said ."Now, let's talk about how to manipulate the elements," Professor continued "To manipulate the elements, you need to understand their properties and how they interact with each other. You also need to understand how to channel your magical energy and focus it on the element you want to manipulate."

The professor wrote on the blackboard, illustrating the different techniques for manipulating the elements.

"There are several techniques you can use to manipulate the elements," Professor Vashin said. "One technique is to use visualization. You can visualize the element you want to manipulate and focus your magical energy on it. Another technique is to use incantations. You can use specific words or phrases to channel your magical energy and manipulate the element."

The students nodded, taking notes and asking questions.

As the professor wrote on the blackboard, illustrating the different techniques for manipulating the elements, Eryndor's eyes narrowed slightly. He had been zoning out for most of the lecture, but He finally started to pay attention to the professor's words.

And to his surprise, he found that he could understand the concepts being explained. He had written about magic in his novel outline in brief, but he had never actually understood the underlying principles. Now, as he listened to the professor's lecture, he felt a sense of clarity wash over him.

The professor's words were no longer just a jumble of sounds; they were actual concepts that he could grasp. He felt a sense of excitement and curiosity, and he leaned forward in his seat, eager to learn more.

As the lecture came to a close, Eryndor felt a sense of satisfaction. He had actually learned something new, and he was eager to see how much more he could learn.

Basic magical theory mastery : 3% ....3.5%

Eryndor's eyes flicked to the system notification, and he smiled to himself. He was actually making progress, and he was excited to see how much more he could learn. He felt a sense of motivation wash over him.

As the professor finished his lecture, a soft, melodious chime filled the air, signaling the end of the class. The sound was like nothing Eryndor had ever heard before - it was as if the very fabric of the air was vibrating with a gentle, ethereal music. The chime seemed to emanate from the very walls of the academy itself, echoing through the corridors and classrooms.

Eryndor glanced at his pendant, which read 9:00.

The chime was a signal that marked the end of each class period.

Professor Vashin smiled at the students, his eyes twinkling with warmth. "Well, that's all for today, class," he said, his voice filled with a sense of satisfaction. "I hope you all found the lecture informative and helpful. Remember, practice is key, so be sure to work on your elemental magic techniques on free time. And don't worry if you don't get it right away - magic takes time and patience to master."

He paused, surveying the room with a warm smile. "Good luck, everyone, and I'll see you all at our next class. May the elements guide you on your journey."

" Thank you for the Class, Professor!" All students stood up and thanked.

As the professor walked out of the class the students began to pack up their things and file out of the classroom. Eryndor also packed up his things and filed out of the classroom, his mind already turning to the next class.
